We don't consider this anyone's business, but because Luke MacFarlane himself came out with the information in a recent interview with Canadian newspaper Globe and Mail, we assume the actor wants it to be publicized.

The Brothers & Sisters star is gay.

"I don't know what will happen professionally," MacFarlane said. "That is the fear, but I guess I can't really be concerned about what will happen, because it's my truth. … There is this desire in L.A. to wonder who you are and what's been blaring for me for the last three years is how can I be most authentic to myself - so this is the first time I am speaking about it in this way."

MacFarlane had no comment, however, on the troubles facing costar Rob Lowe.

Luke MacFarlane, who was spotted out last year with Prison Break Star Wentworth Miller, has confirmed that he is gay.

Referring to his on-screen story line - in which MacFarlane's character, Scotty Wandell, marries his partner, Kevin Walker - Luke added:

"How exciting that we're saying, ‘This can be part of the cultural fabric, now,' because it is two series regulars, two people that you invite into your home and you see every week. It's telling of the beginning of more waves and I'm very proud of that."

We now feel confident enough to report the following: Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller is dating Brother & Sisters actor Luke MacFarlane.

This pairing had been nothing more than a rumor, but the day these two spent together in Los Angeles over the weekend make it apparent they're more than mere friends.

According to celebrity gossip spies for Just Jared, Wentworth and MacFarlane walked down the street together with a smile.

Before that, they had visited a Kinko's and grabbed some drinks from Starbucks before heading to a small art gallery in Culver City. To paraphrase one of our favorite Old School quotes: Sounds like a nice little Saturday for the couple.

Interestingly, MacFarlane used to date Grey's Anatomy star T.R. Knight. We wonder how Isaiah Washington feels about that.

In the end, we wish Wentworth and Luke Zanessa-like happiness. May their smiles shine as brightly as those of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens when around one another.

But is he a gay hottie? According to a gay celebrity gossip blogger, he sure is.

Perez Hilton is reporting that the Prison Break star is not only into men, but he's been dating a fairly well-known one for awhile: Brothers and Sisters actor Luke McFarlane.

MacFarlane is also known as the ex-boyfriend of Grey's Anatomy star T.R. Knight. And, we presume, for being hated on by Isaiah Washington.

"Wentworth and Luke have been secretly dating for almost six months now," says a source close to the pair. "They've been very quiet about their relationship, obviously, as Wentworth is not out of the closet."

Things between the pair are so serious that the couple is talking about moving in together, causing this to be even juicier than a possible Kate Middleton /Prince William make up.

"They spend a lot of time at each other's houses," says the insider. "Wentworth has been pretty reclusive since he's become famous and he's been even more of a shut-in since he started dating Luke."

Awww, that's sort of sweet. We wish these two nothing but the best if they are, in fact, an item. It's about time gay people other than Rosie O'Donnell were in the news.
