La Toya Jackson Demands MSNBC Yank Dr. Conrad Murray Documentary
La Toya Jackson is irate over the documentary featuring Dr. Conrad Murray to air on MSNBC. She's demanding it be pulled out of respect for her brother Michael.
The late pop singer's sister says the controversial documentary, which will air tomorrow, essentially gives "a murderer and convicted felon ... celebrity status."
Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter, not murder, but MJ's estate and fans are still understandably upset about the Conrad Murray documentary.
La Toya fired off a letter to MSNBC, claiming it's outrageous that Michael cannot defend himself against Murray's claims, of which there are apparently many.
Some of Murray's comments about MJ in the film, taken during the run-up to his trial, which ended in a guilty verdict earlier this week, are extremely critical.
La Toya says Murray will profit from "homicidal acts that left my family without a brother, my niece and nephews without a father, my parents without a son ..."
La Toya Jackson on Tribute Concert: A Great Day For Michael
Cee Lo, Leona Lewis and Christina Aguilera performed, Jennifer Hudson went MIA.
Jermaine and Randy staged a boycott, while Michael Jackson's kids honored him.
The Michael Forever tribute concert in Cardiff, Wales, was not without controversy - it wouldn't be MJ if there weren't some - but sister La Toya Jackson says in the end, a wonderful night that honored one of the greatest entertainers ever occurred.
Here's an interview with La Toya following the show:
Regarding Paris, Prince and Blanket's brief appearance on stage, La Toya said they were actually more composed than she, the one trying to set an example.
Two of her brothers felt even showing up would set a bad example, given the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray in L.A. Michael's final words were rehashed Friday.
Katherine Jackson Shoots Down Michael Jackson Death Conspiracy Theories
Katherine Jackson, the mother of the late Michael Jackson, says she is aware of NO evidence to support any sort of conspiracy surrounding his death.
A number of people, including MJ's sister La Toya Jackson, have suggested there was a conspiracy among people close to the star to kill Michael.
La Toya said she believes people were involved who remain closely involved with the singer's estate, but Katherine has all but shot that down.
Katherine told TMZ this: "It is only natural for people who loved Michael, including family members, to be suspicious about the circumstances."
"So far I have not seen one shred of evidence that anyone associated with Michael’s estate conspired to bring about Michael’s untimely death."
She continues, "If such evidence ever comes to my attention I will be the first to bring those facts to light ... No one loved Michael more than I loved him, but no one should face false accusations, as Michael did, of a crime they did not commit."
The list of falsely accused does not include Dr. Conrad Murray, who Mrs. Jackson believes should absolutely stand trial for involuntary manslaughter.
Dr. Conrad Murray Charges Not Enough, Joe and La Toya Jackson Incoherently Claim
The involuntary manslaughter charge filed against Dr. Conrad Murray in the death of Michael Jackson wasn't nearly enough to satisfy the late icon's father, Joe.
Following Murray's arraignment on Monday, a disappointed Joe did what he does best - went on Larry King Live to ridiculously say that Michael was murdered.
Joe Jackson never met a microphone he didn't like to babble nonsensically into, and somehow managed once again to make Michael's sad death all about him.
The Jackson family patriarch said that Michael's death was part of a larger plot and Murray got off easy. Michael's sister La Toya issued a similar statement.
Here's Joe Jackson on Larry King Live last night ...
Attorney Brian Oxman seconded that the reckless administration of Propofol by Murray would constitute second degree murder for any victim not named MJ.
Never mind that the charge came after a six-month investigation and that there was clearly no intent by Murray, however careless he was, for Michael to die.
Yesterday, Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother, labeled Murray a monster. That he may be, but a murderer in the eyes of the law is quite another matter.
La Toya Jackson: Dr. Conrad Murray is a Murderer
Last week in a Good Morning America interview, Janet Jackson said that because Dr. Conrad Murray was the one administering the anesthetic Propofol to her brother Michael, he should be held responsible for the music icon's death.
Janet's sister La Toya had no intention of being so diplomatic.
In an interview with the UK's Daily Mail in July, La Toya said in no uncertain terms that Michael was murdered. Last night, she was back on the attack.
Murray returned to work yesterday after suspending his medical practice in the aftermath of Jackson's death, which is still being investigated by cops.
La Toya, 53, shredded Dr. Conrad Murray when confronted by paparazzi outside of Boa Steakhouse, warning to his patients: "Nobody should hire him."

Murder may be a stretch, as we doubt Murray wanted things to turn out this way ... with the beloved entertainer dead and criminal charges against him likely.
But La Toya does make a point. Patients dying from drug overdoses they never should have had administered? Usually not something a person seeks in a doc.
La Toya Jackson Releases "Tribute to Michael"
She won't be going Dancing with the Stars this fall, but wouldn't you know it, La Toya Jackson has gone and made a moving Michael Jackson tribute video.
The deceased star's singing sister released "Home" back in July and her label claimed she would not be doing much in the way of promoting or marketing.
But these are the Jacksons we're talkin' about.
While father Joe Jackson has been busy talking to anyone who'll listen, La Toya has been working on a forthcoming album and filming a "Home" music video.
It's now being billed as a "tribute to Michael Jackson." Nothing like trying to cash in on your deceased brother, but the preview below does look kind of nice.
And how mad can we get, it's for a good cause. All proceeds from the single's downloads will go to one of MJ's favorite charities, AIDS Project Los Angeles.
Check out a preview of the music video here ...
Dancing with the Stars Update: La Toya Jackson Out, Beth Ostrosky In?
Phew.
La Toya Jackson has come to her senses.
Following rumors that the entertainer might exploit her brother's death and go Dancing with the Stars, La Toya told Access Hollywood that this wouldn't be the case.
“I’ve been approached to do‘Dancing With the Stars. The fact of the matter is, I won’t be doing it, simply because of the circumstances that (are) going on at the moment.”
While Jackson is out, another interesting competitor might be in.
On his radio show this morning, Howard Stern said wife Beth Ostrosky was heading to Los Angeles to take part in a reality show. That's all the information we have at the moment, but it would make sense.
The final Dancing with the Stars roster wlll be revealed on Monday. Who do you wanna see on it?
Will La Toya Jackson Go Dancing with the Stars?
This seems extremely unfair and inarguably exploitive.
In the wake of her brother's tragic death, La Toya Jackson is reportedly being considered for a spot on Dancing with the Stars.
"[She is] in serious discussions to join the show," a source told Us Weekly, adding that an offer is on the table and the (dancing) ball is in La Toya's court.
We're sorry your brother died, La Toya. But don't milk the public's sympathy by competing on Dancing with the Stars.
Come on now, ABC. This reeks of a desperate ratings ploy, as there's no way the show would consider Michael's sister if he hadn't passed away last month.
Won't fans be obligated to keep voting La Toya through? Won't this be grossly unfair to the other hard-working contestants on the series?
No, we don't care too much about the feelings of Lou Ferrigno. But we're all about doing what's right dammit! Let's see if Dancing with the Stars feels the same way.
La Toya Jackson: Michael Was Murdered
La Toya Jackson, the grieving sister of the late Michael Jackson, blames a seedy cast of manipulative hangers-on for effectively murdering her star.
In an interview with the Daily Mail (UK), La Toya, who signed her brother's death certificate, portrayed Michael Jackson as a lonely, isolated figure.
A figure at the mercy of a shady, money-motivated clique.
She accuses people with access to Michael Jackson of cutting the star off from his family and friends and forcing him, largely against his will, to sign up for the gruelling commitment of 50 concerts at London’s O2 arena.
Those shows were set to begin shortly after he died June 25.
La Toya Jackson believes her brother was fed addictive drugs by handlers who wanted to control his moods. She says they regarded him as a "cash cow" and exploited him at every turn. It was this, she believes, that led directly to his death.
While the cause of Jackson's death is unknown and the formal state autopsy results not due back for weeks, La Toya had a private autopsy conducted.
She received the results on Friday and while she won’t comment on the details until the police and coroner's office conclude their investigations, she did reveal that four fresh needle marks were found on Michael Jackson’s neck.
La Toya, 53, said: "I believe Michael was murdered, I felt that from the start. Not just one person was involved, rather it was a conspiracy of people."
"He was surrounded by a bad circle. Michael was a very meek, quiet, loving person. People took advantage of that. People fought to be close to him."
"A month ago, I thought Michael was going to die before the London shows because he was surrounded by people who didn’t have his best interests at heart."
"Michael was worth a billion dollars. When anyone is worth that much money, there are always greedy people around them. I said to my family a month ago."
"He’s never going to make it to London."
La Toya said Michael himself never believed he would live to be an old man and feared he would die in his fifties, and that he was isolated from his family.
She says she is speaking out now to "put the truth out there."
The LAPD has not ruled out classifying Jackson's death a homicide if it is revealed that his doctors provided and administered substances that killed him.
