Kristin Davis and her Sex and the City character, Charlotte York, may have both been unlucky in love at one time or another, what with divorces and her tawdry photos getting leaked and all. But Davis has found a match in Russell James.

"It's been going on for a bit now," says a source close to the actress and the celebrity photographer. "She's very supportive of him – she seems very happy."

On July 20, the pair joined another pal at Katsuya Brentwood for dinner in Los Angeles. Russell James and Kristin Davis, 44, sat in an intimate booth.

Davis rested her head against his shoulder.

"She was all smiles," says the onlooker. "A little giddy."

The duo walked out quietly, trying to keep a low profile, with Kristin Davis grabbing Russell James' hand for a second as they headed up the steps.

In June, Davis joined James at a party to celebrate his new photography book at the grand reopening of Santa Monica's Shangri-La hotel.

"They hung out at the party and were definitely a little flirty in public."

"They seemed like an item," said an observer at the time.

Former Sex and the City (and unwilling amateur sex photo star) Kristin Davis turns a staggering 46 today. Yeah. Suffice it to say, she looks pretty unreal.

Here's hoping Kristin - who was totally our favorite on the HBO show we said we only watched because our significant others made us - a special day.

Whether you see her in Sex and the City: The Movie or in sex photos with Eric Stapelman, there's no denying that Kristin Davis looks damn good.

Kristin's secret: A balanced diet of salmon, brown rice, eggs, guacamole, bread made from spelt (a grain), nuts, lots of vegetables, a few vitamin supplements and, of course, the occasional latte. She's only human!

"My energy doesn't have the weird spikes and drops it used to," she tells Shape magazine, reflecting on the bad old days when she thrived on high-calorie snack foods on the set, chasing them with Diet Coke and alcohol.

Kristin Davis looks absolutely amazing for her age (she is 45!), and it's all due to a balanced, celebrity diet regimen she takes very seriously.

The actress is a recovering alcoholic, and while she hasn't had a drink in 15 years, she found it a lot harder to kick the snacks she loved.

But instead of the usual guilty pleasures, she reaches for her new healthy, favorite snacks like organic almond butter cookies.

"You shouldn't feel deprived," Kristin Davis says of her dieting. "Healthy eating, to me, means limiting foods that could be harmful and eating foods that contain nutrients essential to your health. Not starving!"

• The good news: Kristin Davis is clean and sober.
• The bad news (for her): The sordid Kristin Davis sex tape in which that ass clown Eric Stapelman was going to town on her didn't involve any booze.

"I'm a recovering alcoholic," the actress, 43, tells Health. "I've been sober the whole time I've been famous, so it wasn't like I had to go to rehab publicly."

"It's caused a lot of confusion out in the world. I get sent many a Cosmo! I never drink them. I believe [alcoholism] is a disease. I don't think you can mess with it."

The Sex and the City: The Movie star says people used to say to her "'Couldn't you just have one glass of champagne?' And I would say, 'No,' I'm doing well. I still have occasional bad days. Why risk it?"

Women should be more careful about letting nude photos of themselves leave their hands - as Kristin Davis and Audrina Partridge learned this week.

Following in the naked footsteps of High School Musical's Vanessa Hudgens and many others, these two - along with a possible Lindsay Lohan sex tape bombshell - made news this week as naked pictures of themselves turned up online.

A rep for Davis, best-known as Charlotte in the TV series and upcoming Sex and the City movie, denies that Kristin Davis is the dark-haired woman in the handful of XXX-rated photos that have popped up on the Internet.

There is no Kristin Davis sex tape, but the photos - of whoever it is - are of some brunette posing naked, in the bathtub, and performing various sex acts on some random dude whose face is never shown. What a jackass.

The pics were reportedly taken by Eric Stapelman, an ex-boyfriend of Davis from the early '90s. Eric Stapelman was apparently mad at Davis when he sold the pictures to a third party, from whom they were later stolen.

Meanwhile, there's absolutely no doubt that the photos of Partridge - the faithful sidekick of Lauren Conrad on The Hills - are 100 percent real.

  This is as clothed as we've seen Audrina Patridge and Kristin Davis this week.

Audrina Partridge posed for the pin-ups in 2006, after graduating from high school in the hope she could score some space in Playboy. She failed.

However, the images, including many in which she posed as a topless school girl (yowza), have mysteriously surfaced in cyberspace to haunt her.

The Audrina Patridge nude pictures have been owned up to by The Hills star, who regrets having taken them. But is there even anything to regret?

Just look what sex tapes have done for the "careers" of Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and many others. It makes you wonder how accidental they are.

Porn star Ron Jeremy scoffs at the idea that tapes are leaked by mistake.

"It's all a big joke. I love the excuse that they use. 'I don't know how it got out!' Please. Their careers start to fade or never get off the ground and them all of a sudden, they jump back up with a good sex scandal."

Eric Stapelman was Kristin Davis' boyfriend at the time, a cook in New York who is now executive chef at Trattoria Nostrani in Santa Fe. Reportedly, Stapelman was pissed at Kristin and sold the photos to a third party.

That dude then had the pics stolen from him. And that's how they ended up littered across the Internet just two months before the Sex and the City movie comes out.

Fishy. You know, sort of like Kristin's... nevermind.

The whole Kristin Davis sex tape story has us confused.

Is it her? Is it not? What guy is she going to town on?

The list of questions go on and on. Well, TMZ has potentially answered a few of them via an inside source in the Kristin Davis sex tape scandal.

The Kristin Davis nude photos, apparently, were taken back in 1992 by an ex-boyfriend. That's right, they are just photos. No sex tape, peeps.

This sheds some light on Kristin's rep's flimsy denial after the scandal broke, in which she focused on the fact that no Kristin Davis sex tape exists.

Nude pics, however, have not been ruled out! Although, unlike the ones found in either of the two links above, this one below doesn't exactly look like KD ...

According to TMZ, the ex-boyfriend (whoever this loser was) was pissed off at Kristin Davis and decided to sell off the naked photos of her to a third party.

The third party then got involved in a business venture with some other guy and that guy somehow pilfered the nude pics and they ended up online.

Now you're up to date. If it's true, Kristin Davis has joined an infamous list of celebrities who've had sex tapes released into the public arena.

You know what there's no doubt about? The Audrina Patridge nude pics that have surfaced... those things are the real deal and The Hills are alive with scandal!

Despite the fact that 20 sexually explicit photos allegedly of Sex and the City movie star Kristin Davis are making the rounds online, the actress' camp is issuing denials that it's her naked booty being tapped feverishly on video.

The alleged Kristin Davis sex tape she made with an unnamed ex-boyfriend five years ago, according to numerous celebrity news blogs.

But her rep issued a statement earlier today stating that: "This is not a photo of Kristin Davis. There is no sex tape."

TMZ reports that while some photos from the tape definitely look like it's Davis getting it on, others do not, casting serious doubts about the whole thing.

Stunning news, really.

On some lucky guy, that is. If this is real. Which we doubt.

The celebrity gossip rumor mill is swirling this morning with talk of a Kristin Davis sex tape. The Sex and the City actress, 45, certainly would make a superior sex tape star than, say, Gene Simmons. But there's no way it's legit, is there?

No reports of the tape's legitimacy have been found, however. Until we've got something to go on, we'll assume (hope) this isn't Kristin Davis.

You never know, though. Might this be a glimpse at Charlotte York's actions in the Sex and the City movie? We'll have to wait and see, people.
