Unlike her former fling Stephen Colletti, Kristin Cavallari wasn’t on The Hills last night. Instead, the former Laguna Beach babe attended a launch of the LG Scarlet HDTV Series at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

She won’t be appearing on The Hills this season, but not to fear - Kristin Cavallari will soon be back in front of the cameras.

The beautiful Laguna Beach alumna will appear in the independent film Wild Cherry, co-starring Rob Schneider and Rumer Willis.

The ensemble comedy centers around an attractive high school senior who plans to lose her virginity to her football player boyfriend.

Former reality star Kristin Cavallari wants a serious acting career.

She soon finds out that her beau only wants to sleep with her so he can include her in the football team’s “bang book.” Obviously.

Outraged, she and her friends decide to plot revenge. We look forward to seeing Kristin Cavallari act! The flick begins filming in Canada May 7.

Kristin Cavallari is done working the small screen, folks. It’s official. She has ruled out the possibility of appearing on The Hills, despite the persistent rumors to the contrary, telling Entertainment Weekly in a recent interview:

“I have been asked to come back by MTV a million times to be on The Hills or Laguna Beach or to do a different reality TV show, but I am not interested,” she said. “I am doing what I want to do so I don’t feel pressure to go back. I keep getting jobs. I feel like been there, done that. I did Laguna Beach for two years and had the best time. I feel like I need stuff that challenges me and another reality show won’t do that.”

Her high school rivalry with Lauren Conrad put her on the celebrity map. So what’s Kristin Cavallari been up to in the few years since?

Well, K-Cavs recently starred in a new video for Gavin DeGraw, best known for crooning the One Tree Hill theme song. She also finished up a short film that Entourage’s Kevin Connolly directed that… well, let her describe:

“[It's made up of] nine different short films, and the whole thing is called Uncomfortable Moments. My short is called Dry Humping. It is about two high school kids, my boyfriend and I, who are dry humping when his dad comes home and catches us in the act. They are all really funny short, goofy films.”

THG NOTE: Gulp. Guys, you may feel free to snap out of it and stop envisioning yourselves dry humping the heck out of Kristin Cavallari now.

In other work news, Cavallari also is set to appear in a beach volleyball movie opposite David Charvet, entitled Green Flash, this summer.

“That was definitely not a hard job to go to every day,” Kristin said. “Also, I am about to go to Canada to shoot a movie. I can’t talk about that yet, though.”

“But I’m having a good time!”

Isn’t it always nice when two former Stephen Colletti playthings reunite for a celebrity gossip photo finish - and wear the exact same piece of clothing?

“She can move on from it,” she told Us Weekly at the Details Celebrates “Mavericks 2008″ in L.A. Thursday.

“She’s young, she did her thing, whatever,” Kristin Cavallari said.

The nude photos of Audrina Patridge hit the web on Wednesday.

“They were taken when I was just out of high school and beginning to model,” Patridge, who’s roommates with Lauren Conrad, said.

“I was naive, overly trusting of people and inexperienced.”

She later blogged that the photos were meant to be “artistic.”

We’re not sure how a topless Catholic school girl with knee-high socks ready to get her freak on qualifies as artistic, but whatever works for Audrina Patridge to justify it. We’re not judging, that’s for sure! You go, girl.

The Hills star, Lauren Conrad, debuted her hip new fashion line - The Lauren Conrad Collection - last night at Los Angeles Fashion Week. LC’s Fall 2008 line fashion show was held at Smashbox Studios Tuesday in Culver City, Calif.

The night was a huge success for Lauren Conrad, 22, who’s been going to school for fashion design and marketing. But don’t expect to see the event on The Hills.

“I kinda like that it’s separate. It’s not something that I really want to be part of a reality television show. It’s a career that I want beyond my 15 minutes of fame,” Lauren Conrad told reporters at the show last night.

LC had a great supporting section as Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge, Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, and Brody Jenner were all on hand to cheer her on. Here are a few pics, one of LC and Lo, the other of Whitney and Audrina …

The Hills star Lauren Conrad has extended an olive branch to former Laguna Beach high school rival Kristin Cavallari, reports Life & Style.

NOTE: You can pretty much discount the validity of this piece of quote-unquote celebrity news right now, considering that it’s from Life & Style.

Anyway, according to the magazine, “Lauren invited Kristin to her recent fashion show,” says an insider. “And Kristin accepted!”

No idea why. Starved for attention? Perhaps she was just pissed at another Kristen for stealing her thunder and looking to get back into the spotlight.

The Lauren Conrad Collection is having its first runway show tonight at Smashbox Studios during Los Angeles Fashion Week.

Let’s see if Kristin Cavallari shows - that way we’ll know if this is real or the news equivalent of Ryan Shawhughes‘ and Ethan Hawke’s love child.

We mean illegitimate, people.

Are Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad ready to bury the hatchet? 

The girls’ feud began three years ago over their Laguna Beach co-star and JV Hollywood womanizer Stephen Colletti, now 22.

Both Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad liked and sort of hooked up with the cutie, who later dated Heroes star Hayden Panettiere.

Kristin was rumored to be set for an appearance on The Hills this spring, but LC has shot down that Hills gossip on several occasions.

Maybe she’s just keeping the secret under wraps?

Here’s hoping for some sort of Kristin Cavallari-LC reconciliation… or failing that, a brutal, public cat fight would be entertaining, as well.

In the trailer for the upcoming episodes of The Hills, it’s obvious that the tension between Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt has escalated.

“When we get back to L.A., I need you to move out… I gave up everything for you!” Montag says. “I’m not the one who wanted to see other people!”

Did Spencer Pratt - a notorious player before his emasculation in Season Three - really give his number to another girl, or even worse?

Stunningly, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have chosen, exclusively, to open up about it in … wait for it … the latest issue of Us Weekly!

With Britney Spears under house arrest (or at least papa Jamie Spears’ much-needed lockdown), Us Weekly had to go to Plan B - Speidi. We’ve yet to see Plan C.

Anyway, apparently there was some other girl who came in and wreaked havoc on the relationship of Heidi and Spencer, and her name’s not Lauren Conrad.

“Spencer and I have really had our ups and downs this past year,” Montag said. “I’ve definitely been betrayed by friends before, but I’ve never had a boyfriend do this to me. Spencer and I may differ on what it means to cheat.”

They’re on the same page as far as selling out and makin’ bank, though!

“We’re definitely on a roller coaster,” said Spencer Pratt, who accompanied Heidi to her stepbrother’s funeral this week. “I’m not too happy about a lot of things.”

Montag and Pratt also revealed that Laguna Beach alumna and LC rival Kristin Cavallari was actually their matchmaker.

“[Kristin Cavallari] made it all happen,” Pratt says. “She said to me, ‘I know this girl who’s so hot and perfect for you!’”

Hot and perfect for Spencer? Nah. But one out of two isn’t bad.

In case you’d forgotten, Kristin Cavallari is fairly hot.

With this undisputed fact going for her, but little in the way of a career, Kristin has got to make it known as much as she can.

What better way than to strip down to a tight, white, cleavage-baring tank top for the celebrity gossip media while shopping?

While rumors of her joining the cast of The Hills turned out to be false, it’s good to see that K-Cavs still has some awfully fine hills of her own.

Stephen Colletti of Laguna Beach fame recently turned 22.

Not in attendance at the JV player’s big birthday bash: Lauren Conrad. Or Kristin Cavallari. Or Hayden Panettiere. Nope, none of his exes showed up.

The latter two did come out of hiding on Thursday, however, cozying up (and maybe even dishing secrets) during a party at Hollywood hot spot Hyde!

Laguna Beach’s Kristin Cavallari and Heroes’ Hayden Panettiere both dated Stephen Colletti. We really hate Stephen Colletti right about now.

Kristin, 21, is back on the market after breaking up with Nick Zano, who she dated for like a year, after Colletti… and Brody Jenner. Hayden, 18, also moved on from Stephen to an older man - co-star Milo Ventimiglia. Go Halo!

As for Stephen, we believe him to be single.

But, given his track record of dating all the young celebrities we have crushes on, he should be getting it on with Blake Lively or Carrie Underwood any day now.
