For the fourth consecutive year, Kenny Chesney won the coveted entertainer of the year award at the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas last night.

"This one is really extra special because long before I had a hit record, the fans always came to the shows. And I want to thank you guys for voting and for being there for me," said Chesney when accepting his trophy.

Carrie Underwood took home the award for top female vocalist for the second consecutive year, while Brad Paisley won the same prize in the male category.

As her July 7 wedding to Tony Parker draws nearer, Eva Longoria has a surprise to spring on the event's entertainer.

"My friend Kenny Chesney is going to sing at my wedding, the Desperate Housewives star tells Cosmopolitan for its April issue. Except there's one snag:

"He just doesn't know it yet," Longoria admits.

Asked what excites her most about the impending wedding, Longoria exclaims:

"My dress, my dress, my dress! I wish I could wear 10 dresses to my wedding. It's so sad that you put it in storage and then never see it again."

It's also sad when you're losing a photo finish with Vanessa Minnillo.

Longoria is far more serious when discussing how she and San Antonio Spurs point guard Parker deal with conflict. "We never go to bed angry, which sometimes frustrates Tony because he'll be like 'Please. I have a game tomorrow. I need sleep,' " she says.

"Another rule we have is that nobody is ever right. I don't need to be right. I just want to be understood. The same goes for him," she adds.

That's actually a very intellgent, mature point of view. We hope Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar are listening.

One argument they don't have, she says, is over her male pals. "I get so much crap for having friends like Jamie Foxx and Mario Lopez, who are like brothers to me. It's difficult when you're in an insecure relationship or if your partner doesn't know where he stands with you. That's not how it is with [Tony and me]."

Hey, Oprah Winfrey, you aren't the only one out there who isn't gay.

Country star Kenny Chesney is also speaking out about his sexuality - and he's on the side of heterosexuals. Just in case you weren't sure.

In an interview with 60 Minutes, Chesney denied rumors that have been circulating since his four-month marriage to Renee Zellweger ended in September 2005.

Zellweger later filed for an annulment and cited "fraud" as the reason for the split, leading some to speculate that Chesney's sexual orientation was in question.

"It's not true," Chesney said.

"Maybe I should have come out and said no, I'm not (gay), but I didn't want to draw any more attention to it … I didn't have to prove to anybody that I wasn't (gay) … I didn't feel like I really did."

Now that he has, though, another man is off the market for Neil Patrick Harris.

Chesney went on to explain that the couple chose the term "fraud" in the its paperwork because it was the most ambiguous terminology avaiable, and that Chesney and Zellweger were hoping to protect their privacy.

"We thought the least harmful was fraud 'cause it's kind of broad, whatever it is. Doesn't specify. And, boy, didn't, we were wrong. But, it's okay. The only fraud that was committed was me thinking that I knew what it was like. That I really understood what it was like to be married, and I really didn't."

Chesney went on to say he didn't regret the marriage. He did, however, think he was tying the knot with Ellen Pompeo.
