Like Jessica Simpson, Kelly Clarkson is sick of criticism over her weight.

"For seven years it's been happening. It's like, 'OK cool, the fat jokes,'" she said in an interview with 2Day FM's Kyle and Jackie O Show in Australia.

"I love my body. I'm very much OK with it. I don't think artists are ever the ones who have the problem with their weight, it is other people."

The original American Idol has also come under recent scrutiny over her sexuality. She says she doesn't care if people think she is a lesbian.

Her only complaint in that department: "The rumors are not helping me on the dating front! I prefer the boys. I'm extremely flattered when I do get hit on by girls, and I do think it's really hot, but I'm not into it. I like boys."

Fat or not, Kelly Clarkson said she's in no rush to find Mr. Right.

"I'm only 27, not 40 and still single! I enjoy being single, I love work and I think people are so passive with relationships and I'm not that person."

"I'm an extremist, I'm either in a relationship or I'm not. I'm honest about it and I'll tell people, it's just there's nothing to tell. I have a very good life."

You may be hating on Susan Boyle, but a far more talented singer disagrees with your assessment.

When asked for her opinion on the Britain's Got Talent sensation, Kelly Clarkson told The Associated Press in Hong Kong:

"I think it's awesome. I'm bawling whenever I hear her sing," Clarkson told The Associated Press in Hong Kong, saying Boyle's rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical "Les Miserables" sounded beautiful.

Clarkson was overseas to promote her new album, "All I Ever Wanted."

She wasn't asked about the latest American Idol controversy, which questions whether a corporate sponsor played a role in Kris Allen's victory last week.

If Kelly Clarkson is tired of pregnancy rumors, she might want to avoid clothing choices like she's donned recently. The singer looked considerably heavier performing at the KIIS-FM Wango Tango in California this weekend (below, right).

Contrast how the original American Idol looks compared to just two months ago, when promoting her new album on the current season of the hit show.

Maybe she was channeling her inner Jessica Simpson and just picked a really unfortunate outfit. Sorry, that's a huge insult to Kelly Clarkson to even be mentioned in the same sentence as that sorry excuse for a singer. Our bad!

Kelly Clarkson appeared on American Idol last night, belting out a rendition of her hit "My Life Would Suck Without You." For some reason, this performance has sparked pregnancy rumors around the Internet, as fans wonder whether or not the original champion has a bun in her talented oven.

It's sad, really. The fact Clarkson doesn't resemble Nicole Scherzinger is a good thing; it doesn't mean she's gone all Bristol Palin on us.

Clarkson is one of the industry's most popular musicians, as much for her honest personality as for her talent.

In the latest issue of Blender, for instance, the singer says fans love the "real factor" she represents.

Kelly's interview with the magazine was certainly full of straightforward, real responses. Here are a few excerpts from it:

On a penchant for nudity: “I’m the kinda person who just doesn’t like clothes.”

On peeing in the shower: “Anybody who says they don’t is lying.”

Conversely, Kelly Clarkson has also battled weight issues over the years... but no one cares. The original American Idol simply goes about her business of making good music, garnering fame and fortune via actual vocal chops, as opposed to large breasts and pink Cowboys jerseys.
