Michael Jackson Family on Conrad Murray Sentence: Not Long Enough!
Dr. Conrad Murray was sentenced to four years behind bars today, the longest possible prison term for involuntary manslaughter. Needless to say, Michael Jackson's family is adamant that he deserves every day of that sentence, and then some.
His mother, Katherine Jackson, made that abundantly clear in recent weeks.
In Murray's official Probation Report, Katherine lashes out at Murray for his documentary, in which he lays blame on Michael and denies any wrongdoing.
Katherine feels Murray's four-year sentence is "insufficient."
The report says, "During filming, he repeatedly stated that he did nothing wrong. Ms. Jackson feels this adds insult to injury, and shows he is clearly not remorseful."
The Jackson family matriarch also says she's "deeply insulted" that on the anniversary of Michael's death, Murray arranged to be photographed at the cemetery.
Michael's parents, siblings and children issued a joint statement begging Judge Michael Pastor to make Conrad Murray pay for his crime, which he did today.
At the same time, the family insists revenge is not their motive.
Katherine Jackson Shoots Down Michael Jackson Death Conspiracy Theories
Katherine Jackson, the mother of the late Michael Jackson, says she is aware of NO evidence to support any sort of conspiracy surrounding his death.
A number of people, including MJ's sister La Toya Jackson, have suggested there was a conspiracy among people close to the star to kill Michael.
La Toya said she believes people were involved who remain closely involved with the singer's estate, but Katherine has all but shot that down.
Katherine told TMZ this: "It is only natural for people who loved Michael, including family members, to be suspicious about the circumstances."
"So far I have not seen one shred of evidence that anyone associated with Michael’s estate conspired to bring about Michael’s untimely death."
She continues, "If such evidence ever comes to my attention I will be the first to bring those facts to light ... No one loved Michael more than I loved him, but no one should face false accusations, as Michael did, of a crime they did not commit."
The list of falsely accused does not include Dr. Conrad Murray, who Mrs. Jackson believes should absolutely stand trial for involuntary manslaughter.
Katherine Jackson on the Attack Against Michael Jackson's Estate, or Being Set Up?
Even in death, the personal life of Michael Jackson remains as bizarre as his musical talent was profound. The King of Pop is simply peerless on both arenas.
The latest saga? A declaration filed with the court, purportedly signed by his mom, Katherine Jackson, in which she attacks the executors of MJ's estate.
The declaration filed in the Estate's lawsuit against the Heal the World Foundation makes shocking allegations against John Branca, calling him a thief.
Despite the fact that Branca and John McClain have resurrected MJ's reputation and wealth, KJ's statement lambasts their theft of his money and image.
Only now, Katherine insists she never signed it! Is there a conspiracy at work here? Katherine's lawyer, Adam Streisand, tells TMZ the following:
"Mrs. Jackson categorically denies signing any statement that makes accusations of any wrongdoing by the executors with respect to her son or his estate."
Streisand adds, "She did not and would not make any such statements about the executors." Streisand says Katherine told him, "These are not my words."
The Heal the World Foundation lawyer says someone faxed Katherine's manager the final document, later sent to Pease with the signature in question.
Pease says if the signature is a fraud, "Heads will roll."
Blanket, Paris and Prince Michael Jackson on Good Morning America: Just Your Average Kids
Michael Jackson must be smiling from his grave.
That was the primary thing we took away from his kids' interview on Good Morning America this morning. In the year and a half since their father passed away, Paris, Blanket and Prince Michael Jackson have adjusted, even thrived.
While the children, now under the care of Michael's mother Katherine, are some of the most famous kids anywhere, they don't act like it. Instead, the GMA interview speaks volumes of a balanced, well-adjusted and age-appropriate upbringing.
Dad would be proud ...
Michael Jackson's Kids to Appear on GMA
Michael Jackson wanted his kids to lead the normal childhood he never had, but they still idolize their famous dad and want to follow in his footsteps.
So they told Good Morning America in interview to air tomorrow.
The late King of Pop's mom, Katherine, joins Prince, Paris and Blanket in talking about how they have "adjusted pretty well" to life without Michael.
The kids are young, but their career plans involve "continuing what our dad was doing." Paris added, "I'm thinking about auditioning for a play."
Here's a preview of the segment, which should be interesting:
Katherine Jackson Kicks Out Malcontent Grandkids
Katherine Jackson, the mother of the late Michael Jackson and the guardian of his three children, is about to clean house in more ways than one.
Renovations are being done and people are getting kicked out.
Everyone is moving out of the Jackson compound in Encino, Calif., while the house undergoes extensive renovations. Some won't be returning.
PERSONA NON GRATA: That's Alejandra Jackson (left) with ex Jermaine.
Katherine Jackson and company are in the process of packing boxes and will leave the family home in early December for several months during remodeling.
The reason this is significant is that after the "stun gun" incident in March, when Jaafar Jackson tried to taser Blanket, Katherine wanted the teenager out.
More specifically, she wanted Alejandra Jackson and her four kids - two with Jermaine and two with Randy Jackson (yup, it's weird) - to beat it for good.
Michael Jackson's Kids: Safe From Crazy Joe
Fans worried about Michael Jackson's kids after watching Katherine Jackson on Oprah need not worry. They will not suffer the child abuse their father did.
Katherine, Michael's mother and now the legal guardian of his children Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket, does not believe in physical discipline. Period.
Joe Jackson beat Michael and basically said he'd do it again, but Katherine corrects Paris, Prince and Blanket by talking to them. What a wild concept.
Prince, Paris and Blanket at the memorial service for Michael Jackson. The King of Pop was peerless musically, but felt his children were his greatest legacy.
Moreover, Katherine will not let Joe be involved in any disciplinary situations when it comes to the youngsters, so he won't lay a hand on MJ's kids.
Joe admitted to Oprah he whipped Michael with a strap, which he justified by saying that none of the couple's nine children had ever been to jail.
This wasn't exactly news, since his abusive past is common knowledge, but the bluntness and lack of regret was unsettling to many Michael fans.
In any case, it turns out discipline is not a high priority at the Jackson compound ... because Michael's kids are incredibly well-behaved anyway.
Katherine Jackson on Oprah: The Full Interview
Katherine Jackson, mother of the late Michael Jackson, spoke with Oprah Winfrey on Monday in a long, emotional interview about her son and grandchildren.
"I don't think I will ever be healed," Katherine said, recalling Michael's June 2009 death. "It will get better, but some days it's like it just happened... It hurts."
During the in-depth talk, Oprah also spoke to Joe Jackson, Michaels' father, who tried to dance around the fact that "beat" his kinds but basically admitted it.
"You might as well admit it," Katherine to Joe. "That's the way black people raise their children. ... He used a strap." Joe said he'd do it all over again too.
Michael, whose new single "Breaking News" was posthumously released this week, was never the same after his 2005 molestation case, Katherine says.
"All his life, he had to go through stuff like this, and they were just lying on him," she said, asserting that she never questioned his innocence in the matter.
"I never thought [he could be guilty of molestation], because I know he wouldn't," Katherine said. "He loved children, he was around children all the time."

New Michael Jackson Single: The Real Thing?
Has a new single by Michael Jackson truly been released?
According to Howard Mann, a partner with Jackson Secret Vault - a company that owns hundreds of MJ tracks, video and memorabilia - Katherine Jackson has decided to give the world a sampling of her late son.
"In an effort to overcome the confusion as to the authenticity of the track the estate has recently released we want to give an actual authentic Michael Jackson track to the world ... for free," Mann said.
There has been controversy for weeks over whether the songs in this company's possession are real or fake, as that debate was only heightened late last week when Sony released a teaser for Michael's upcoming Christmas album. Listen to it NOW.
MJ's mom swears the vocals above are 100% authentic. What do you think? Is this really Michael?

** UPDATE: Mann now claims this song is NOT an unreleased single, but rather a "remake." He has also removed all references to Katherine Jackson from the song's advertisements. Draw your own conclusions from these developments.
"New" Michael Jackson Songs: Real or Fake?
Sony is releasing a Michael Jackson album this Christmas, featuring 10-12 original songs. The reason this is noteworthy? His kids say some of the tracks are bogus!
Five of the tracks were recorded at the New Jersey home of record producer named Eddie Cascio, where Michael and his children stayed for four months in 2007.
Many tracks were recorded then, plus remixes that were released on the Thriller 25 album. But the children say the soon-to-be-released ones aren't real.
FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE: Is Michael's "new" music real or fake?
Michael Jackson's kids, who are also in the news because of an upcoming interview with Oprah this Monday, believe the Cascio tracks in question are fakes.
The theory is they were performed by a Michael Jackson sound-alike instead. Hard to believe? Maybe, but MJ's oldest, Prince Michael Jackson, is adamant.
He says he was upstairs at the Cascio's house when many tracks were recorded and heard the music, none of which match the Sony tracks, he says.
