The feud between Jon and Kate Gosselin has truly remarkable staying power. Just when you think they're out of the news for good, they ramp it back up.

Unlike the Tori Spellings and Kendra Wilkinsons of the world, there's no scripting this nonsense: Jon and Kate full-on H8 each other with a vengeance.

Earlier, we reported that Jon is not allowed to see the kids and gunning for Kate in court. Now a new report suggests he's after something besides custody:

The upcoming return of Kate Plus 8 to TLC is not sitting well with Jon Gosselin, who is seriously considering going after full custody of his kids as a result.

Jon, who was no fan of this summer's Kate Plus 8 catch-up specials, is even more furious that Kate Gosselin is putting them kids back on TV for a full season.

Adding to the tension? Kate has abruptly canceled Jon’s recent visits with the kids, according to a new report, and Jon is prepared to fight back hard.

“He would love to take her to court and get total custody of his kids. He doesn’t want them on TV and doesn’t want Kate’s influence on them," a source says.

"He’ll do whatever it takes.”

Will he, though? Can he?

Following a two-part special featuring Kate Gosselin and her brood this summer, the maligned reality star is returning to TLC for a new season of Kate Plus 8.

New episodes will return in December, and Gosselin will be making out nicely.

“Kate couldn’t turn it down. She loves doing TV and it’s basically her only source of income,” an insider said, summing up what we all assume to be true.

So how much will she be pulling in with the series' return?

Gosselin, 39, isn’t bringing in the coin she did at the peak of Jon & Kate Plus 8, but it’s certainly more than the average American is making ... per year.

“Kate’s making more than $40,000 per episode, but it’s not clear yet how many episodes,” the source said. “Right now they’re only locked in for one season.”

Not bad. Plus she gets to work with boyfriend Steve Neild!

The Gosselins will travel to Boston and explore the New England area as part of their family vacation, and you best believe the cameras will follow them.

Viewers will also be treated to the Gosselin kids' final days of summer as their greedy, abusive, fame-hungry mom prepares for another year of school.

They grow up so fast. Cara and Mady will enter eighth grade, while the sextuplets - Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel - will go into the fourth grade.

In part one of the recent two-part Kate Plus 8 special that aired in June, Gosselin talked about how it was "never my intent to portray myself as superwoman."

No issue there, Kate. You've been portrayed as anything but lately.
