Joy Behar and Steve Janowitz: Married!

The View co-host Joy Behar will have even more to talk about than usual - she and her longtime boyfriend, Steve Janowitz, have tied the knot.

Calling Steve her "longtime boyfriend" is actually an understatement. They have been dating for 29 YEARS. Hey, why rush a good thing, right?

"She was married in New York City last night in a private ceremony," a rep for the show said.. "She will discuss it September 6 on The View."

The talk show returns for its 15th season then. Behar's wedding date, August 11, coincidentally marks the anniversary of its 1997 debut.

Back in 2009, Behar said she and Janowitz, whom she referred to as her "spousal equivalent," would wed, only to break off the engagement later.

They never parted ways, though, and finally made it official this week. We offer our congratulations to the couple and wish them the best.

Awww: Snooki Apologizes to Joy Behar, The View

As her war of words with Joy Behar continued to escalate, Jersey Shore star Snooki decided to be the bigger person (for the first time in the 4'9" pip squeak's life).

On the Wendy Williams Show earlier in the week, Snooki apologized for tangling with The View host. Wednesday, Behar officially accepted Snooki's mea culpa.

Joy's amusing response, in light of Snooki's drunken antics this week: "I found the apology quite sobering - maybe that's not the right word." Watch it here ...

The bad blood started when Joy admitted on air that she has a "visceral reaction" to Snooki, who reminds her of kids who teased her when she was young.

She went on to berate the MTV star many more times, and recently, Snooki and JWoww fired back in video clip mocking Behar and The View.

Snooki ended it today, though, calling herself "a big fan of The View and Barbara Walters," before saying, "I'm sorry." Joy and Babs graciously accepted.

The View Fights Back: Babs, Behar Bash Snooki

Taking a break from espousing their opinions on Gabrielle Giffords, Sarah Palin and blood libels, The View focused on something equally pressing this morning:

Snooki.

Responding to the Snooki and JWoww video from earlier in the week, which itself was a response to Joy Behar’s ridicule of them, Barbara Walters fought back.

Describing Snook as “a woman who drinks too much” (that's putting it mildly) and gets “smacked in the face,” Babs went about as far overboard as she can.

Behar commented drily, “I didn’t know they allowed cameras into AA meetings.”

Ohhh, you got them there. Your move, Jersey Shore cast. Your move.

Snooki & JWoww Spoof The View, Bash Joy Behar

Tiring of Joy Behar's constant insults on The View, Jersey Shore stars Snooki (Nicole Polizzi) and JWoww (Jenni Farley) decided to fight back their way.

By spoofing the talk show and its host in this awesome video, during which they use horrible Jewish accents and call Joy a bitter "Italian wannabe."

Joy, they say, just hates Jersey Shore because kids like that ruined her childhood ... during the Great Depression. Ohhh. Sadly, this is as good as SNL:

The irony? Joy Behar is actually not Jewish, but an agnostic who was raised Catholic. Behar is also Italian-American. Snooki and JWoww are not. Idiots.

Joy Behar Decrees Sharron Angle Campaign Ad, Refers to Candidate as "Evil Moron"

Bill O'Reilly, you got off easy.

When that Fox News anchor appeared on The View last week, Joy Behar simply walked off the stage.

But Sharron Angle, who is challenging Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for his office in Nevada, received the full wrath of Behar on today's edition of that gabfest.

The show aired a new campaign commercial (posted below) in which Angle takes Reid to task for his handling of illegal aliens.

Intepreting the spot to be a comparison of Latinos to terrorists, Behar addressed the camera this morning and called Angle a “bitch," said she was “going to hell" and added that the candidate is “a moron on top of being evil."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck chimed in and agreed the ad is "wrong." Watch it now and then sound off with your take.

Bill O'Reilly Addresses "Fiery Debate" on The View

Yesterday morning, Bill O'Reilly was a guest on The View and got into such a heated exchange with Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg that those panelists walked off the set. Watch the confrontation unfold NOW.

Last night, meanwhile, the Fox News host addressed this "fiery debate" on his Talking Points segment.

Leaving the SetO

Admitting that "I am often offensive, everyone knows that," O'Reilly defended his belief that a mosque should not be built near the site of 9/11 by saying:

“No one I know wants to insult Muslims, but many are tired of the political correctness surrounding the 9/11 attack. Did we say, in World War II, ‘We were attacked by “Japanese extremists”? [...] No: we said we were attacked by ‘Japanese.’”

Different Views: Bill O'Reilly Clashes with Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar Over 9/11 Mosque

Bill O'Reilly appeared on The View today. But he wasn't exactly treated like a welcome guest.

As soon as the topic turned to the proposed mosque around the site of 9/11, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar got into it with the Fox News anchor. He argued that 70% of the country was against the Muslim center and that it was "inappropriate," albeit clearly constitutional, to erect.

They argued that people should be smart/tolerant enough to differentiate between a religion and the extremists within that religion. At least that's what we think both sides said, as voices were raised and opinions flew until Goldberg and Behar actually stormed off the set...

Bill O'Reilly vs. The View!

Said Barbara Walters of the incident: "We should be able to have discussions without washing our hands and screaming and walking off stage. I love my colleagues, but that should not have happened."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck-Joy Behar Feud Escalates

Producers of The View are trying to douse recent reports that two of the popular talk show's pundits - conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck and left-leaning Joy Behar - are in the midst of a feud so bitter they are no longer speaking.

The Chicago Sun-Times saysthe animosity between the two - who get into animated on-air debates about the presidential election almost daily - "has gotten so ugly, they only speak on air or when a camera is in their vicinity."

The paper also reports that Behar did "a vicious impression" of Elisabeth Hasselbeck's campaign appearance with Gov. Sarah Palin this past weekend.

This followed one of several bitter clashes last week - during which Hasselbeck claimed she is open-minded and considered voting for Obama, prompting Behar to fire back, "Oh, come on! That's like saying I could have voted for George Bush."

"Are you calling me a liar, Joy?" snapped Hasselbeck, lifting her coffee cup and shoving it toward Behar. "You want some more Barack Obama Kool-Aid or what?"

Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar Rumble on The View

The presidential election is under two weeks away and tension is rising around the country. The set of The View may be the epicenter of political squabbling.

As usual, the show's resident hot conservative pundit, Elisabeth Hasselbeck clashed with Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar over Barack Obama and taxes. But apparently, that was nothing compared to a confrontation taking place after the broadcast.

Hasselbeck was reportedly pissed that Behar has been using The View to tout Behar's upcoming stand-up performance, which she called "political in nature." Elisabeth, sporting a tight little John McCain t-shirt, demanded equal time.

Joy got in Elisabeth's face, screaming "If you do that again I will burn you down." (!?) Elisabeth turned beet red and started to stammer out something. At that point, Joy turned around and yelled, "Shut the f*%k up!" and stormed off.

Just another week at the office.

Below is one of the exchanges (follow this link for more classic, past and present, inflammatory Elisabeth Hasselbeck videos) that sparked it...
