As the third baseman for the New York Yankees, Alex Rodriguez has been involved in countless double plays over the years.

A new report in The New York Post, however, focuses on a December 2006 double team that A-Rod enjoyed in a Florida hotel room.

According to TMZ, the controversial, soon-to-be-ex-husband of Cynthia Rodriguez was spotted entering a posh Coconut Grove hotel around the aforementioned date. The two women that shared a suite at that resort at the time?

Alicia Marie says she never had sex with Alex Rodriguez. But maybe she meant she never had sex with him without another woman around.

Both of these women have been linked to A-Rod's circus of adultery, as Morse is a veteran stripper and former Playboy model, while Marie is a fitness model that has denied any sort of romantic entanglement with the baseball star.

When asked by the Post about a late-night slumber party with the Morse and Rodriguez, she replied: "I really can't comment on that."

We sure can, though!

And the only thing that would make this story any more hilarious is if the Madonna song "Express Yourself" was playing in the background as Rodriguez padded his private home run total.

He's hitting .238 with just one home run over the past seven days, but the last week was even tougher on Alex Rodriguez than the statistics show.

Last weekend in Boston, Red Sox fans (below) greeted the slugger with blonde masks, taunting him over his recent scandalous liaison with stripper Joslyn Noel Morse.

Meanwhile, reports say A-Rod's wife, Cynthia Rodriguez, left their East Side pad with two suitcases, refusing to speak with reporters, after the Stray-Rod scandal broke.

However, Alex and Cynthia (pictured) were seen in Boston together and appeared to be in good spirits the next day.

In an effort to do some damage control, A-Rod wined and dined his better half, who is from the Boston area, and bought her over $6,000 worth of diamonds.

Later, a photographer spotted the couple standing in front of newspapers emblazoned with mocking headlines - and A-Rod and Joslyn Morse in full view.

They giggled as they looked at the front page of the New York Daily News, which also bore a photo of them, and Cynthia cracked, "At least it's a cute picture of us."

Apparently his propensity for seeing Joslyn Noel Morse nude wasn't cause for Cynthia to break up this rock-solid union. Which is good... we think? This is just too weird.

Apparently, Alex Rodriguez likes his stripper mistresses bleach blonde. And kinda masculine. And not particularly attractive, considering he's not only a reasonably handsome fella, but a superstar baseball player with a $252 million contract.

Yes, since the "Stray-Rod" scandal broke and it became known that Alex Rodriguez has been hitting strip clubs and likely having an affair with dancer Joslyn Noel Morse, The Hollywood Gossip has been trying to determine who the Iowa native reminds us of.

Then we were sent pictures of Joslyn Noel Morse nude. That didn't help us much either. But we can tell you one thing - despite her ample chest, she doesn't "stack" up to some of our celebrity gossip staff members' favorite bleach-blonde hotties.

None of whom are really our type. But if you're going to keep hitting strip clubs and cheating on your smart, pretty wife, might as well up your standards, Alex.

Alex Rodriguez, a.k.a. "Stray-Rod," was outed while dining at a steak house and visiting a high-end strip club, The Brass Rail, with the blonde dancer in Toronto this week.

TMZ reports that the pair were seen in Las Vegas together months before that, leading to speculation that A-Rod's liaison with Morse is an ongoing affair.

An Iowa native and veteran of several high-end Sin City strip joints, Joslyn Noel Morse was nowhere to be seen yesterday in Boston, where Rodriguez is in town to play the Red Sox.

Alex was accompanied by his wife, Cynthia Rodriguez, who was surprisingly all smiles. Maybe she's cool with the fact that her husband meets random strippers and flies them out for "companionship" on road trips. This is a man who yells "Ha!" at opposing infielders as he rounds the bases, after all, so who knows.

Morse, an Iowa native who took up the stripping trade after high school, was licensed to work as an "entertainer" at several Vegas strip clubs, according to Nevada state records.

The diminutive damsel is a workout fanatic with a hard-cut physique who appeared topless in an October 2001 edition of Playboy's Casting Calls.

Rumors about her swirled all week, but the identity of Joslyn Noel Morse (above, on the New York Post cover, and below, right) was revealed only yesterday.

At the same time, Alex Rodriguez was spotted strolling through Boston with his pretty wife, Cynthia, who repeatedly flashed a happy grin.

Cynthia (with Rodriguez, below, left), who bore the couple's only child, Natasha, in 2004, said nothing as the third baseman scribbled his name on baseballs for fans.

"It's been enough," A-Rod sighed in frustration as he signed autographs, ready to begin the Yankees' series against the arch rival Red Sox.

The Rodriguezes dined last night at an upscale Beantown steakhouse. The couple - who spent two hours at dinner before heading to their hotel - had nothing to say to a Post reporter.

Yesterday's Post cover story features an incriminating picture of the Yankees third baseman - who is married with a baby daughter - out with a mystery blonde.

After the abysmal Yankees dropped a third straight game to the L.A. Angels Sunday, the troubled slugger flew to Toronto and checked into the Four Seasons in the city's trendy Yorkville section.

After settling in, the 31-year-old A-Rod, this mystery blonde and two men left the Four Seasons in a taxi shortly at 8:30 p.m. for dinner at the ritzy Harbour Sixty Steakhouse.

Rodriguez, who was wearing his wedding band, was casually dressed in jeans and a white T-shirt.

His tight-bodied, bleach-blonde gal pal was clad in a snug pair of blue jeans, a shiny, light T-shirt and wedge-heeled shoes.

A witness told The Post that Rodriguez and his three companions spent about two hours dining at Harbour Sixty. Rodriguez and the blonde were driven in one of Harbour Sixty's cars over to the Brass Rail, a high-end strip club.

The witness saw A-Rod and the woman go into the Brass Rail just after 11 p.m.

Meanwhile the celebrity gossip super-sleuths at TMZ report that this is nothing new - Rodriguez was with the very same blonde in Las Vegas two weekends ago!

Sources in Vegas say the slugger was at the hot nightclub Tryst at the Wynn Hotel on May 13, sitting at a table with his blonde companion.

The two were living it up near the 90-foot waterfall, drinking two bottles of Grey Goose vodka. Alex left the club around 2:00 a.m., and sources say the two headed over to the Mirage the next day, where he and the mystery blonde participated in a private event at the pool.

The "event" featured "staff" from the nearby, risque Bare Lounge. Oh yeah. You can officially add Cynthia Rodriguez to the mile-long list of people who hate Alex Rodriguez.

When contacted, a rep for the Wynn refused to comment on their celebrity clientele, while reps for A-Rod were just as tight lipped.

Man, what is going on with these sports superstars and the need to chase tail at every turn. Brady's babes, Alex's stray rod, Reggie Bush seeing Kim Kardashian's up close. Does it ever end?
