More Sarah Larson, George Clooney

Our guess is that Sarah Larson picks Michael Clayton for Best Picture.

Attention, Johnny Depp: You Can See Rachel Bilson Nude!

We won't be seeing Jennifer Love Hewitt nude or Jessica Simpson nude in movies, according to their camps.

However, one of the former stars of The OC isn't as staunch in her stance. There's a possibility we'll get a glimpse of Rachel Bilson naked down the line... as long as she's paired with a certain co-star.

And it ain't you, Adam Brody.

"When it comes to nudity onscreen, unless I have a love scene with Johnny Depp, I plan to keep some clothes on," Bilson said.

Don't worry, fellas: The Hollywood Gossip has already dispatched an intern to speak with Depp about a future film with this adorable actress.

Wish us luck.

Almost Nude Rachel Bilson

With The OC off the air, Rachel Bilson is now causing guys everywhere to ask: oh, can we see you naked?

Celebrity Look-Alikes, Vol. 31

Josh Hartnett (below, center) is apparently ready to audition for The Ninth Gate, a mystery involving a rare book dealer's investigation into the occult and directed Roman Polanski.

Unfortunately, that movie came out in 1999 and starred Johnny Depp (left, right). But who can blame Hartnett for wanting to resemble this talented and eccentric star. From smaller, dynamic roles in films such as the one discussed above to blockbusters like Pirates of the Caribbean, Depp never makes a bad career move.

Or it could be just an amazing coincidence. Regardless, it's certainly worthy of inclusion in our celebrity look-alikes feature.

Maybe Josh, who is still reeling from his breakup with Scarlett Johansson, believes that if he can copy Johnny Depp's signature look, he will have better luck with Natalie Portman. Nah, no way she's gonna let him hit that. Sorry man.

THG NOTE: This is the second celebrity look-alike we've featured using a Johnny Depp character - the first being Edward Scissorhands and John Mayer.

Johnny Depp, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston Lead People's Choice Award Nominations

YarrYarr, mateys, Johnny Depp is still receiving recoginition for his role in Pirates of the Caribbean. Already this year's top-grossing actor, Depp snatched up a leading three nominations for the People's Choice Awards, whose nominations were announced Tuesday.

The star is up for favorite male movie star, along with Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington; best male action star, competing with Samuel L. Jackson and Jet Li; and, with costar Keira Knightley, favorite on-screen match-up.

Halle Berry, having starred in X-Men: The Last Stand, is a double nominee, competing with Jennifer Aniston and last year's winner, Sandra Bullock, in the race for favorite female movie star.

Berry is also in the running for favorite female action star against Kate Beckinsale and Uma Thurman.

Aniston also shared a nomination with Vince Vaughn, both her Break-Up costar and off-screen partner, for best on-screen match-up.

Vaughn landed a second nomination as favorite leading man, as did Matt Damon and Brad Pitt.

Damon and his The Departed costars Jack Nicholson and Leonardo DiCaprio are also in the favorite match-up race.

Favorite TV stars in the running are Jennifer Love Hewitt, Eva Longoria and Julia Louis-Dreyfus in the female division, and Patrick Dempsey, Charlie Sheen and Kiefer Sutherland in the male.

Talk-show host nominees are Ellen DeGeneres, Jay Leno and Oprah Winfrey.

Celebrity Look-Alikes, Vol. 9

Ah, yes, how we love Celebrity Look-Alikes. Most recently, we brought you a couple of dead-ringers, along with two attractive young women who, in actuality, have next to nothing common except for one feature (at least it's a hot one). And who can forget, before that, the practically indistinguishable Mel Gibson and Saddam Hussein, kindred spirits at heart and in appearance. How can we possibly compete with that masterpiece?

It's impossible. But we did some outside-the-box (and reality) thinking last night and came up with this pair of oddball characters. Here's supposed serious musician and supposed Jessica Simpson boyfriend, John Mayer, and Edward Scissorhands! What a couple of freaks!!

John MayerJohnny Depp as Edward Scissorhands

NOTE: We are aware that Mr. Scissorhands is not real, and is in fact a movie character played by a young Johnny Depp. So don't bother e-mailing or calling us about this.

From Pirate to Barber: Depp to Star in Sweeney Todd

Johnny on the Spot
Yarrr, mateys, playing a swashbuckler is one thing for Johnny Depp - but a vengence seeking barber?

If anyone can pull it off, it's sure to be this versatile thespian. Depp will be reuniting with director Tim Burton to play the title role in a film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's musical "Sweeney Todd." The story centers around a 19th-century barber seeking bloody revenge over his wrongful imprisonment.

Naturally.

The star of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, this year's biggest, most abysmal hit (with a domestic gross of $400 million), is expected to do his own singing, said Marvin Levy, spokesman for DreamWorks, which is co-producing "Sweeney Todd" with Warner Bros.

Sweeney Todd marks the sixth collaboration between Depp and Burton. The pair scored a blockbuster in summer 2005 with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, while past films include: Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood and Sleepy Hollow.

The filmmakers plan to start shooting Sweeney Todd early in 2007.

Depp Thoughts on Pirates of the Caribbean

Even though certain people thought Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest was awful, disjointed, nonsensical and a slap in the face to the original - there's no denying the film's commercial success.

With that in mind, Entertainment Weekly recently sat down with the captain of it all: Johnny Depp. Here is an excerpt:

Bugger Off!You agreed to do the first Pirates film without even seeing a script. Didn't the potential cheese factor of a movie based on a theme park ride turn you off a bit?

No. I don't know why â€" ordinarily it probably would. When I said yes to it, my agent Tracy Jacobs' head spun around like she was going to need traction.

A lot of people were surprised at the idea of you doing a big Disney movie in the first place.

People made more of a big deal about that than I thought was necessary, at least from my perspective. If you look back, Disney has done some amazing things. I was just interested in exploring. I didn't at that point have any idea of how far to explore.

It turned out you explored a lot further than Disney anticipated. Was the studio's reaction to your performance as panicked as legend has it?

Oh, boy. Listen, I ended up at a meeting, at the age of 39 or whatever, going in to meet with Disney executives â€" I mean, these guys push and pull billions of dollars around everyday â€" and the topic of conversation was my teeth, the eyeliner, and the beads hanging from my beard. I was expecting that someone somewhere along the line would have a problem. It seems that all they're ever looking for is the poster boy. I just thought, ''Hey man, I'm the old guy. You've got Orlando and Keira â€" that's a stunning poster. You don't need me.''
Did director Gore Verbinski have your back?

Gore took the brunt of it initially. They kept calling Gore saying, ''You've got to do something about Depp. You've got to talk to him.'' Gore, bless his heart, said, ''Look, I happen to like it. If you want to talk to him, you talk to him. I ain't doing it.'' He stood his ground. And my agent, poor thing, was getting calls from Disney saying, ''What the hell is going on? He's ruining the movie.'' Finally, I just made the call to them and said, ''Look, you hired me to do the gig. If you didn't see the stuff I've done before, that's irresponsible on your part. You had to have some idea of where I was going to go. If you don't like it, you can fire me.''

Yarr! Depp Sees Gold, Keeps Booty in Mouth

Depp, as Captain JackYarr, matey, don't be messing with Johnny Depp's gold! If you want to, you'll have to snare it loose from hit teeth.

The recently honored actor revealed that he'll be keeping the gold teeth sported by his character, Jack Sparrow - sorry, CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow - in his mouth until the third installment of Pirates is finished filming.

Such committment partly speaks to why Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest set an all-time record for Hollywood's biggest opening weekend â€" $132 million in ticket sales in its first three days! The waters, of course, are ideall were charted now for the third and final film, set to be called: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

In a recent interview, Depp actually said he'd love to do a fourth and fifth version, but none are in the works.

We'll go ahead and say what everyone out there is thinking: that's pure rubbish!

Captain Jack Loyal to the Black Pearl - and France

Eye, matey, it's been a good week for Johnny Depp. The most anticipated movie of the summer, Pirates of the Carribean: Dead's Man Chest, opens today.

Depp Loves France

In the meantime, Captain Jack Sparrow's portrayer was honored by the Mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoe. Depp was presented with the Grand Medaille de Vermeil, an award given to those who demonstrate devotion to the city.

"The country itself, the city itself has been very kind to me. It introduced me to my beautiful girl Vanessa, gave me two beautiful kids - doesn't get better than that," said Depp, who attended the premiere with girlfriend Vanessa Paradis.

Not surprisingly, co-star Orlando Bloom had only good things to say about his on-screen friend/foe.

"Johnny is a guy who sort of has a lot of integrity, he's an actor who's doing his work and he's focused on the work and developing characters and he's courageous with it. It's as simple as that."

Yo ho!

An Awkward On-Screen Kiss... For Depp

Johnny Depp and Keira KnightleyKeira Knightley shares a passionate kiss with Johnny Depp in the upcoming, highly-anticipated Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, but for one them, the experience was unbelievably awkward.

Depp, who plays the affable and off-the-wall Capt. Jack Sparrow, believes any film kiss is bound to be uncomfortable to shoot, but considered this one more so than most.

"Any kind of scene like that whenever you're doing that sort of thing, it's always unbelievably awkward especially having met Keira when she was 17 years old," Depp said. "But regardless of that it's always awkward so you kind of just make light of it; she was a good sport and we just kid of did what we had to do, that's the gig."

Keira was a good sport too, of course, considering most 21-year old women like her would love to be in the same situation.

"I couldn't ask for a better kissing scene with Johnny Depp actually, I think my 14-year old self was yelping with pleasure," she said. "It was fantastic! What more can a girl ask for? I've got Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom and I get to kiss both of them. It's wonderful!"

Knightley won't reveal whether this infamous lip-lock will interfere with the relationship her character, Elizabeth Swann, has with Orlando's Will Turner. Bloom has also stated, stunningly, that he has enjoyed smooching Keira throughout the Pirates trilogy.

"It's not an ordinary kiss, it's a kiss with a twist, which is great," she said.
