Talk about calling out celebrity gossip publications.

Joel Madden got his fans excited when he blogged Saturday: “WE DID IT!! NICOLE AND I FINALLY GOT MARRIED!! Click here for pictures!!”

He was just joking, of course — and taking a shot at lame celebrity news rag Star for falsely reporting he was planning a $2 million wedding.

Already parents of five-month-old daughter Harlow, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are not married. Yet. They are very happy together, however.

“HAHA. JUST KIDDING,” Joel Madden blogged. “So I feel really stupid even posting this, but I’ve been getting calls and texts from my family all week asking me why they weren’t invited to my wedding.”

On their outing yesterday, the 26-year-old Nicole Richie was accompanied by rocker fiance Joel Madden and daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden, who turns four months old - how time flies - Sunday.

Okay, you can’t see really Harlow. But this pic is cute!

We’ve been critical of Nicole Richie in the past, but she and Joel make a really cute couple - and Harlow’s one of our favorite celebrity babies!

Here’s an absolute stunner. Reports from OK! Magazine that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are planning a summer wedding are actually not true!

“They are not even engaged,” a rep for Nicole Richie said.

OK! Magazine (the same celebrity news publication that recently ran a 2003 picture of Britney Spears with its current cover story about the singer losing weight), reported online about the supposed Richie-Madden wedding.

“Invites for the blessed event are set to go out next week” and “a celebrity party planner is getting everything together for the nuptials,” it said.

Nicole Richie will remain an unwed baby mama for the foreseeable future.

Alas, it turns out they are not following the lead of Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge, however, and plan to remain unwed parents for now.

Just two weeks after welcoming daughter Harlow, Nicole Richie is already skinny again. That’s what not ingesting any nutrients will do!

Clad in a tight black dress, Richie and her rocker beau Joel Madden joined her dad, Lionel Richie, at a birthday party Friday for her manager Benny Medina.

There’s plenty to celebrate for the family: Medina recently brokered Nicole Richie’s $1 million sale of the first pictures of little Harlow Madden.

This next part is sweet, though.

Joel Madden recenly blogged that he “had no idea what love even was until Harlow came along. I swear it’s so hard to leave during the day, but always so rewarding to come home to the little family… She is growing so fast!”

The birth of daugther Harlow Winter has caused Joel Madden to open up like never before.

“I had no idea what love even was until Harlow came along,” the musician recently wrote on the website of his clothing company, DCMA Collective.

We’re guessing Nicole Richie wouldn’t like hearing that. But she’d excited about the rest of Madden’s blog entry:

“I swear it’s so hard to leave during the day, but always so rewarding to come home to the little family. I’ve always been a guy who loves to love. Probably one of the things that define me outside of my work is LOVE.

“Me and her mother feel like the luckiest two people alive right now,” Madden added. “This time in our life has been amazing. We both look at our little girl every single moment everyday and know there is nothing we wouldn’t do to protect her and her perfect little innocence. It seems like you turn on the TV, or get online, and it’s all bad news.”

Or Britney Spears news. Which is pretty much the same thing.

Joel Madden is excited to be a father, even he he admittedly “[sucks] at diapers.”

“I am finally home with my beautiful girlfriend and our brand new little daughter,” wrote Madden about Nicole Richie and Harlow Winter on his DCMA Collective website under the heading “It’s a Girl!!!!”

The rocker added that his new born “is 19 inches long and growing everyday already! We are so blessed to have this beautiful little baby in our lives.”

In frightening news for Harlow, however, Madden also says she “looks so much like her mom its crazy!”

That’s bad enough. But as long as the little one doesn’t act like her mom - popping pills, driving drunk and never eating - she should be okay.

The young couple welcomed a girl into the world yesterday, as Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A.

Harlow Madden weighed 6 lbs., 7 ounces at birth; or approximately half as much as her mother.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden recently made an offer on a home in a posh, gated Southern California community only to be denied by the would-be neighbors.

When Nicole Richie got the news that she and her fiance and rocker baby-daddy were denied by residents who were concerned about celebrity news photographers hovering around their homes, “Nicole was livid because she loved the house,” a source tells Us Weekly. “She thinks it’s a BS reason, but she couldn’t fight it.”

Still, being dismissed from the private community hasn’t put a damper on Joel Madden and Nicole Richie’s growing excitement over their upcoming event.

Another source says that Nicole Richie is planning a baby shower for the end of November. And Joel Madden expects fatherhood to have a positive impact on many parts of his life, including his songwriting.

“I’m sure it will inspire me,” he said. “Yeah, I’m sure it will.”

Hopefully it will also inspire Nicole. To eat.

Nicole Richie finally put enough pounds to break the century mark. Now it looks like she is preparing to bid farewell to the Knocked Up, Unwed Celebrities Club!

According to TMZ, Nicole Richie and her baby daddy, rock musician Joel Madden, may have finally set the date for their wedding. And it’s soon!

Sources tell TMZ that The Wedding Fairy - no, not Perez Hilton, but an upscale wedding planner by that name based in Orange County, Calif., - will coordinate the small ceremony that is to take place October 13 in Laguna Beach.

Hopefully, the ceremony will be broadcast on MTV, with Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari as bridesmaids and Stephen Colletti and Jason Wahler as groomsmen.

When the celebrity news site contacted Lorraine Keseloff, a wedding planner and owner of the company, who had no comment and quickly hung up the phone.

Nicole Richie’s rep did not return calls seeking comment either. We’ll keep our eyes peeled, though. Under two weeks until she’s an honest anorexic woman!
