TV Guide has published its annual list television's highest-paid actors, and there are some serious shake-ups in the 2014 pecking order.

For one thing, the number 1,2, and 3 spots all belong to Big Bang Theory cast mates.

Tim Allen
The former Tool Man's return to television has netted him some big bucks. Allen receives an estimated $250,000 an episode for Last Man Standing.

Yes, as you may have heard, Kaley Cuoco and her co-stars signed $90 million contracts after protracted negotiations, making them the most well-compensated cast on the small screen by a fairly wide margin.

Kaley and the Geek Squad (as Charlie Sheen dubbed them when he was the brightest star in the CBS galaxy) will pull an estimated $1 million an episode for the next three years, and will also enjoy an undisclosed portion of the show's profits.

Industry insiders say the TBBT actors may be the last stars to receive such astonishing paydays due to audience fragmentation brought about by cable and streaming services, as well as "cast churning" (the practice of frequently dispatching series regulars, say with a Valyrian steel blade).

From big raise to big wedding?

The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons, who just signed a massive contract extension, reportedly proposed to his longtime boyfriend after 12 years together.

Parsons, 41, who plays brainiac Sheldon on the hit CBS sitcom, finally popped the question to art director Todd Spiewak, 37, according to reports!

Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco each went from earning $325,000 to an incredible $1 million per episode for the show's next three seasons.

His financial future secure, Parsons, who came out as gay in 2012, got a life-changing nudge from partner Spiewak, who had long wanted to get married.

“He told [Jim] he felt like they were just treading water in their relationship,” a source said, and with Jim set to earn eight figures and then some, he made a move.

The actor, according to an insider, “finally told Todd, ‘The thought of losing you is scarier than anything I can imagine,’ and he asked Todd to marry him!”

Whether that's true or not remains to be seen, as the private Parsons isn't likely to confirm or deny any gossip items pertaining to his personal life.

We hope they're happy in any case. For a look at how far he and his co-stars have come, check out this gallery of The Big Bang Theory cast then and now!

Before a certain CBS sitcom turned them all into household names and Emmy darlings, this ensemble was hard at work trying to make it in Hollywood.

While some had already achieved success in the industry by the time The Big Bang Theory premiered, others were still waiting for their big break.

Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco had been around the acting block a time or two prior to becoming Leonard and Penny. Jim Parsons was lesser known but just as talented.

How tmes have changed. The Key Three recently inked a $90 million deal for The Big Bang Theory's final three seasons. Yeah, this show has done them well.

Now that their careers are in the stratosphere, here's look back at the smaller roles that helped get them there. Check out The Big Bang Theory cast, before they were stars.

Kaley Cuoco
After she was Bridget Hennessy on 8 Simple Rules, Kaley Cuoco did a stint as a witch-in-training on Charmed. Then she bought some boobs and moved in next to Leonard and Sheldon to set up residence as Penny on TBBT.

Along with co-stars Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco held out on her Big Bang Theory contract recently, forcing CBS and Warner Bros' to delay the start of filming for TV's number one sitcom.

Well, it turns out the Key Three's stubbornness paid off as they all now stand to cash in big time from the show's final seasons.

Cuoco, Galecki, and Parsons have reportedly all signed contracts that could be worth over $90 million over the course of the next three years.

The trio will receive about $1 million for 72 more episodes, as well as roughly 1% of series' annual profits.

Not bad for a girl who was never a household name until she dated Henry Cavill last year.

It's no secret that actors are often booked to play characters of much younger ages. Kerr Smith was 26 when he played 16 year old Jack McPhee on Dawson's Creek.

His incredibly youthful appearance (which has since become a full head of gray hair by 40) worked in his favor. Other celebrities have ridden a similar wave of good fortune.

Playing younger roles on camera certainly helps keep them younger in our minds, but for many stars, the truth is they really look like they're only as old as their characters.

Have they found the fountain of youth? Are they just the product of a slow-aging gene pool? Maybe they're just secret friends with Dr. Botox and his friend The Scalpel?

Who knows! But here are 19 stars who are older than they look:

Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston is 45! Contrary to reports, she is not becoming a mom in her mid-40s. Probably.

We know. We don't believe it either. Especially not #5.

In fact, to further test that fountain of youth theory, here are nine pairs of stars who are the same age, but you'd never know it by looking at them ...

Jim Parsons is a multi-time Emmy Award winner.

He is beloved for his role as Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory.

But the actor admits in an interview with Ellen DeGeners this week... he's a total loser.

Parsons is put on the spot while talking to the comedian when the topic of gay marriage is broached. He’s been with boyfriend Todd Spiewak for 11 years, yet the two are yet to exchange any vows.

What's the hold up?

"I feel like I haven't been enthusiastic enough about it," Parsons says in the following exchange. "And now I feel like I'm a loser for the cause."

Parsons came out as gay in a May 2012 New York Times interview, simply mentioning his relationship in an interview about his Broadway career.

If one thing's for sure after looking through this slideshow it's that Joan Rivers' plastic surgeon needs to start handing out his business card on the red carpet.

Or we could just let people age like they're supposed to so they don't end up looking like Joan Rivers one day. Yeah, there's that option.

Here, so you can see and believe, are 18 stars who are the same age. You can Google if you want, but you might be too busy picking your jaw up off the floor to do that.

Kate Upton and Selena Gomez
Starting life as a Disney star might have done Selena Gomez good. She and Kate Upton are both 21 but one looks far older than the other.

From booze, to drugs, to just plain ol' genetics, everybody ages. Even Hollywood's rich and famous and attention-seeking reality TV stars.

Some just do it better than others.

And Hollywood's women do it better than the men, even counting Joan Rivers among the lot.

Someday, the following list will not be necessary.

Someday, celebrities will not need to make any sort of official announcement regarding their sexuality because, quite simply, no one will care and society will be fully accepting of all orientations.

But that day hasn't arrived yet, for reasons explained so eloquently by Ellen Page when she came out as a lesbian on Friday:

Perhaps these stars can make a difference. Maybe they can positively influence others struggling with their sexual identity, using their public platform to push for tolerance.

So, with all that in mind, we join many in Hollywood in saluting Page and other famous folks who are very out and awfully proud:

Ellen Page
Ellen Page made a major announcement in early 2014: She's gay. We applaud her for it.

Jim Parsons has gotten some Big Bang for his buck.

The sitcom star and multiple-time Emmy Award winner purchased the home once occupied by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart this week, plopping down $6.375 million for the property, according to public records.

As previously reported, Pattinson recently put the mansion on the market, making it more clear than ever that this ex-couple has no future together.

The house sits on a 1.5 acre lot, was built in 1922 and has a beautiful patio/pool area.
