Beyonce and Jay Z: Married!

This shouldn't come as a shock to any celebrity gossip followers - as rumors have swirled for days - but a source told People Magazine that Beyonce and Jay Z got married last night.

"It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair â€" close friends and family," the friend said.

The ceremony was followed by a party at the rapper's Tribeca apartment that. In attendance were Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny's Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

Will Beyonce take her new husband's last name? Will she now be known as Beyonce Z?

Jay-Z: 99 Problems & Stiffing Employees is One

Sean CarterIt's a hard knock life for the folks who work at the new New York hotspot operated by Jay-Z, if a new lawsuit is to be believed.

According to papers obtained by TMZ, Celeste Williams, a former "server" at the swank 40/40 Club, accuses the music mogul and the company that owns the joint, Twenty Ones, Inc., of not paying enough.

She says they didn't even pay her minimum wage, which means she's raking in less coin than Kevin Federline at whatever gas station he works at now.

Williams also alleges that the club held back tips from servers and that she got stiffed for overtime she worked.

What's more, Williams' lawyers say in the complaint that there are "more than 100" other 40/40 employees who will join the lawsuit.

At least Jay-Z can take comfort in fellow rappers Snoop Dogg, Eve, Busta Rhymes and Akon, all of whom are involved in their own legal imbroglio.

40/40 rep Ron Berkowitz says that the named plaintiff - Williams - worked for the club for a grand total of four days, and that the club isn't aware of any other of the "more than 100" workers who may have joined the suit.

This place should be featured on Hell's Kitchen.

When we spoke to him, Berkowitz said the club hadn't been served with papers, but insisted that all employees keep 100 percent of their tips, and that any allegation of wait staff being unpaid is false.

Williams is seeking unspecified damages. On the other hand, Jay-Z dates Beyonce, so how can you stay mad at the guy.

Beyonce and Jay-Z Are Not Getting Married. Yet.

No Wedding DateAs Beyonce denies any feud with Jennifer Hudson, she does so without a wedding ring on her finger. But for how much longer will that be the case?

While the Dreamgirls star and Jay-Z were supposedly getting married at a luxury Caribbean resort last weekend, the singer/actress says that was never the case.

But it may be soon.

"You can't rush a man into anything - whether it's a relationship, marriage or having children," Beyonce said. "When he's ready, he'll let you know."

This relationship isn't the only one not walking down the aisle at the moment. In a new celebrity trend, other couples such as Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey have announced how UNmarried they are, as well.

Knowles isn't wigging out just yet, but she's also not shy about admitting what she does want at some point.

"My parents have been married for 27 years, and they're still in love. That's a great example for me. I know it's possible," she said to Parade magazine.

She also told the publication how "you know someone loves you by the way he treats you and respects you. You know it by how you both feel when you're together."

We bet Rachel McAdams would say the same thing about Ryan Gosling.

First Concert at Royal Albert Hall Stars Jay Z and ... Gwyneth Paltrow?

Apparently.

Over the weekend, concert goers were surprised with a treat (we guess) when Jay-Z wasn't the only rapper to take the stage at famed Royal Albert Hall in London.

Paltrow Played with Jay-Z

Joining him was the star of Shakespeare in Love and Proof, as Gwyneth Paltrow sang the chorus of "Song Cry" from the rapper's classic "Blueprint" album.

Can't say we saw that partnership coming.

"She was a bit nervous but her performance was really excellent," says 1Xtra DJ G Money, who was at the gig. And goes by that name, evidently.

Other onstage guests included Paltrow's husband, Chris Martin, Beyonce and rap star Nas. It was the first hip-hop gig to take place in the Royal Albert Hall.

"It was an historic event," said G Money. "We were in the same seats that you've seen at the Proms. It was amazing."

Know what else was amazing? Last night's episode of Laguna Beach.

News Flash: Jay-Z Be Pimpin'

He really is.

Fresh off a seriously lame retirement, the rapper hit the coast of Monaco with not one, but two ultra-expensive driving machines on Monday. Jay-Z rolled out the jet black Ferrari F430 and the silver Pagani Zonda for an upcoming video, presumably "Show Me What You Got." Check out some pics from the video shoot below.

Jay's first solo album in three years, Kingdom Come, will be released on November 21. While his "surprise" return to music may have shocked the masses, music junkies saw it coming from miles away. Stars such as Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, Dr. Dre and Chris Martin all opened their mouths about being involved with the project. That's kind of a giveaway.

The $400,000 Pagani Zonda was apparently designed to resemble a naked body (presumably female), so it's no wonder that Beyonce's beau and the world's richest two-pump chump is rockin' that f-i-n-e set of wheels in his new video.

Jay Z Makes Triumphant Return to Rap Game

Look out, Beyonce, you may have a challenger to music - and world - dominance. And he sleeps next to you every night.

In a stunning turn of events, Jay Z has announced that "The Black Album" was actually NOT his last CD. He's working on a new one, "Kingdom Come," right now. It should hit stores this fall.

He's Back"It was the worst retirement in history," Jay Z told Entertainment Weekly.

Appaarently, Mr. Z has never heard of Roger Clemens.

In 2004, the rap icon (real name: Shawn Carter) became president and CEO of Def Jam Recordings. He's also the owner of the New Jersey Nets that same year and gets to give it to Knowles any time he wants.

Even though Jay swears he was serious about retirement for two years, he told the magazine that he began tinkering in the studio over the summer.

"Something, when you love it, is always tugging at you and itching, and I was putting it off and putting it off. I started fumbling around to see if it felt good," he said.

Of course, for guys that sleep with Paris Hilton, that itching is something else entirely.

Expect dope collaborations on the forthcoming CD. Jay Z has already recruited some A-list producers: Timbaland, Kanye West and Dr. Dre. Even Coldplay frontman Chris Martin produced a track called "Beach Chair," he said.

Beyonce, Jay-Z to Spare No Expense for Wedding

Let's just just say that bottles of Andre won't exactly be served at the November wedding of Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z.

Soon-to-be Newlyweds

The couple, otherwise known as Beyon-J, will be sparing no expense for the nuptials. The current over/under on number of Dom Perignon corks popped is 317.

Reports state that Beyonce and her booty will be shelling out $3 million for the bash on the Caribbean island of Anguilla, a tenth of which - $300,000 â€" will be allotted for the Beluga caviar alone. Also on the menu will be lobster and Italian truffles.

Ashlee Simpson is hoping to snag an invite. Her post-meal vomit would never taste so yummy!

While we don't actually envision the hip hop goddess to be counting that young pop star on a guest, The Gossip has learned of a pair that will be attending the festivities.

Oprah Winfrey and UN Secretary-General, Kofi Annan, will be among the guests. Keep your eye on Kofi, Beyonce. That guy loves his caviar.

H to the Yo: Rapper Jay Z Goes on Water Crusade

Jay Z Goes to the UNWhile girlfriend, Beyonce, wears the fur of innocent, slaughtered animals, Jay Z is trying to actually help those less fortunate than himself.

That's right, you can no longer accuse the rapper of being a Cristal man. His latest obsession is water, something that - sadly - doesn't flow very freely in many places around the world.

At the UN yesterday, Jay Z said he's traveling to Africa for the first time ever to document the world water crisis for an MTV documentary called "Diary of Jay-Z: Water for Life." Maybe he'll team up with Madonna there.

The program will air November 24. It will show Mr. Z meeting children who, according to estimates, are amongst the more than one billion people around the world who don't have clean and safe drinking water.

"Every 15 seconds a child dies from not having access to clean water," the rapper told the press at the UN. "I want people to know that while they're having their Poland Spring at Cipriani."

Or complaining about pressing life issues such as prank phone calls.
