Ashley Tisdale Reveals High School Musical Spoilers, Secrets

Ashley Tisdale is just like every fan of High School Musical: she can't wait for the third installment of the franchise to hit theaters!

We assume that's why the young actress recently talked about the evolution of her character in High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

“She’s competing for this Julliard scholarship,” Tisdale told MTV of her snobby songstress’ story line in the film. “You know how she is when she wants something! You know, she has to get it.”

Sharpay Shakes It

Ashley Tisdale - as Sharpay Evans - shakes what her mama gave her in this scene from High School Musical 3. Vote on this photo and others from High School Musical NOW.

As for how she interacts with Lucas Grabeel, who portrays her brother in the franchise, Tisdale pointed to a dance routine between the stars.

“I have this musical number with my brother Ryan, and I’m trying to reel him back over to my side. Because, you know, now he is accepted by the Wildcats from the sequel,” she said, citing a development from High School Musical 2.

Finally, Ashley, what about those unmistakable Sharpay outfits? Will we get a glimpse of more unique High School Musical fashion?

“They are just as crazy, but also now a little bit more designer,” said the actress. “A little bit more Dolce & Gabbana kind of stuff, but everything is still Swarovski crystals; she still has to have a touch of that.”

Corbin Bleu Comments on End of High School Musical

Corbin Bleu is feeling blue.

The wild-haired actor recently finished shooting his final scene for High School Musical 3, the final film in the Disney franchise, at least for its core group of stars.

"It's in this junkyard where our characters spent so much of our childhood pretending to be pirates and ninjas," Bleu told USA Today of the scene, a duet with co-star Zac Efron. "It's a whole fantasy of us being kids again."

Bleu's career was launched on the hit Disney show. Therefore, it's not easy to see the series end.

"This has been such a huge part of my life," he said. "For this to be the last installment for us is pretty surreal."

Corbin Bleu has sung his final musical in high school.

High School Musical 3: First Look!

The first photo of High School Musical 3: Senior Year is here!

The eagerly-awaited big-screen version of the hi show hits theaters on October 24.

In this scene, Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) and Troy (Zac Efron) celebrate the best night of their lives: the senior prom! Naturally, they're doing it via a musical-dance number.

"Vanessa's definitely the stronger dancer," Efron told People. "If I forget the next move, she'll lead me. We have to help each other, that's what we do."

Zac Efron on High School Musical 3: Fun Things Ahead!

Zac Efron may have won an MTV Movie Award this week for his performance in Hairspray, but the beloved teen star was focused on his next role when interviewed by People.

He'll be taking on Troy Bolton again in High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

"It felt like the first two movies all over again. We just kind of can't go wrong with Kenny Ortega as our director and leader and our great cast and crew. We've got no squabbles to get through," Efron said, referring to the third installment of the franchise, which will hit theaters in October.

Broken Through

If Efron, or costars such as Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel, have any trepidation about the filming the blockbuster, it doesn't show.

"Everything's been stepped up a few notches, all the dances, and I think the songs are pretty catchy this time around. And it's our senior year, so we've got graduation and prom to look forward to. All fun things to have in a movie," Zac said.

So, will you be seeing High School Musical 3?

High School Musical Cast Speaks on Dancing, Shoes

The entire cast of High School Musical 3 - Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu - appeared on ABC's Good Morning America earlier today.

For his (hot!) part, Efron talked about coming into rehearsals a few weeks late because he was busy shooting another movie, 17 Again. He said couldn't keep up with girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens; we assume he meant on the dance floor:

"It was tough catching up with everybody. Vanessa's tough to keep up with, man. She's really coordinated. It's tough."

HSM Cast

Zac wasn't alone, though. The entire cast seemed to have a difficult time with the new moves.

"I'm still hurting. We're all kind of limping around," Hudgens said.

"I think I grew a full shoe size. My feet are so swollen. It's pretty bad, but it's worth it," added Monique Coleman.

One star who seemed to be doing well, though, was Tisdale. She thanked her footwear for that.

"Well, actually, the shoes are comfortable," Ashley said. "We had ballroom shoes on and everyone was wearing heels and everybody was like, ‘Argh, my feet hurt,' and I'm like, ‘Mine are great!'"

This may be a silly question to ask, but: Will you be seeing High School Musical 3?

Nick Lachey and His High School Musical Minions

This summer, Nick Lachey will host a reality show on ABC seeking a newcomer to be "a part of High School Musical history," as a network representative described the series.

It's tentatively titled High School Musical: Summer Session and - shockingly - the auditions for the next Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens recorded a turnout larger than the size of Lachey's ex-wife's breasts.
