OK! magazine is reporting that things are far from okay for Vanessa Hudgens.

The celebrity gossip tabloid says this young star's nude photo scandal will cost her a spot in High School Musical 3.

"Disney finally decided that they don't want her back," says an insider. "They feel that as long as Zac Efron is in the movie, all will be fine. He's the real star " the household name " and, most importantly, he comes without baggage."

But with dashing good looks!

If Hudgens isn't asked back, rumors say that Cheetah Girls Adrienne Bailon or Sabrina Bryan are likely replacements.

"The producers think that after Dancing With the Stars, Sabrina will be more famous than Vanessa," the source said.

We're not sure about that. Even if Bryan wins the reality competition, ask yourself who is better known right now, past Dancing with the Stars champions or celebrities that get naked a lot?

Think more people know of Drew Lachey or Tila Tequila?

We hear a lot about Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale.

But TV Guide recently chatted with another High School Musical star, Corbin Bleu. Here are highlights from the interview:

TVGuide.com: High School Musical has literally taken your life to new heights.
Bleu: It has, it has. I'm now heading to the airport, to get on a plane to Italy to promote High School Musical. After that, I get to go to Paris. It's my first time in France.

TVGuide.com: Let's talk a little about High School Musical 3. I've heard that you guys are going to start shooting in January. Is that true?
Bleu: I don't know. I'm not quite sure if that's the case. That might be a little bit of a rumor. I think there are no dates really set in stone at the moment. I'm not even signed yet.

TVGuide.com: Have you been approached?
Bleu: Actually, I have been approached and I'm in negotiations and working on just figuring it out. I definitely would love to be a part of it.

TVGuide.com: Have you received any sort of details? Is there a script? A plotline?
Bleu: No, we don't have a script yet, but I'm pretty sure the plotline is going to be graduation and the final senior year at East High.

TVGuide.com: And is this pretty much a done deal for you? You're definitely in? The two previous movies have been so successful.
Bleu: Yeah, they've been incredible experiences and it's really going to be nice to go back for one last hurrah and then just finish up the whole High School Musical phenomenon. You know, it's going to be great, but also stressful. I've got another movie that I'm going to be working on in November.

TVGuide.com: So the incident with [Vanessa Hudgens naked pictures], was that a wake-up call when it comes to protecting your privacy?
Bleu: I think that one of the most important things to remember is that, as people, whether you're under the microscope or not, you should try to practice good morals and try to practice being a good person. As long as you are doing that as a person, no matter what, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

[But] if you're trying to put up a good image and then at the same time you're out partying and doing a whole bunch of other stuff wrong, it becomes a little bit more of a pressure because you have to worry about trying to uphold that. But if you're doing exactly what you're saying you're doing, then you have nothing to worry about.

Ready for amazing news, Zanessa, Corbin Bleu and Ashley Tisdale fans?

Filming for High School Musical 3 begins in January!

"The script is getting written " it starts in January, and it's a feature film," said actor Ryne Sanborn, who plays Jason in High School Musical. [But] I haven't gotten a call saying, ‘We want you to do it.'"

Olesya Rulin (aka piano player Kelsi,) added: "It if happens, I'll be ecstatic to be in the third one."

And fans will be ecstatic to watch one, that's for sure.

OK! magazine first reported this story, writing: "After the [Vanessa Hudgens naked] photo scandal, and the rising profile of series star Zac Efron, Kaycee Stroh, 23, who plays Martha, hopes the cast remains the same.

"Our fingers are crossed because we love each other. The chemistry's great with the 10 of us," the actress said.

Various reports claim that Efron is being offered $3.25 million to star in High School Musical 3, while Hudgens is indeed being brought back for the film, for a measly $1.3 million.

According to IMDB, two of the film's working titles are High School Musical 3: Gradu-Dancin and Haunted High School Musical.

Get excited, High School Musical fans:

The Disney Channel is airing a special dance-along version of the sequel on Sept. 8. The hosts will include the modern day Brangelina, Zanessa (Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.)

Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron

Efron, Hudgens and company â€" Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Olesya Rulin, KayCee Stroh, Chris Warren, Jr. and Ryne Sanborn â€" will do more than merely host the movie: they'll instruct viewers on how to imitate their dances during the opening and closing numbers.

It's the airing of a lifetime.

"Our viewers made dance moves from the first movie iconic, and we're pleased to once again provide them with an opportunity to learn the new dance moves from HSM2," Disney Channel Worldwide senior VP Scott Garner said in a statement.

We can only imagine how excited Jodie Sweetin, the former host of Pants Off/Dance Off, is about this news.

High School Musical without Zac Efron would be like Friday Night Lights without Kyle Chandler.

Therefore, after the record-setting peformance of High School Musical 2, the only question fans care about is:

Zac, Down Under

Will Zac Efron sign on for High School Musical 3?

Here's the celebrity gossip we have on the topic: in February, plans were set in motion for a Halloween-themed feature film the studio dubbed Haunted High School Musical. Of course, somewhere between then and now, this plan was scraped.

Today, Disney says it will instead focus on the senior year of key characters (such as the one played by Corbin Bleu) at East High to complete this film's triology. The original writer from the first two films, Peter Barsocchini, is writing the script. The original producers and director Kenny Ortega are also on board.

As far as Zac, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale are concerned, Disney released the following statement:

"There is no contractual obligation for any of the cast members to return. That said, we are in active negotiations with all the principle cast members and are feeling optimistic."

When Billy Bush asked Zac last week at the High School Musical 2 premiere about another installment, the golden boy replied: "A third movie would be a dream come true. Finishing High School Musical with a third movie, that would be in theaters, is just sort of a tribute to everything we kind of did here."

Bottom line: Don't worry, ladies. Efron will return. You haven't seen Daniel Radcliffe bail on Harry Potter, have you?

Forget Grey's Anatomy.

Who cares about Heroes?

17 Again Star

And does anyone even watch The Hills on MTV?

Barely, at least when compared with the monstrous ratings put up by Disney's High School Musical 2 on Friday. The movie attracted 17.24 million viewers.

This makes the premiere of this Zac Efron and company's film the single most-watched basic cable telecast in history.

Overall, these figures also mean High School Musical 2 was the most-watched program on TV since the season finale of FOX's hit drama House on May 29 drew 17.26 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. Kids seem to love singing in the hallways!

And get excited, young ones: High School Musical 3 is in the works, as is a movie feature that will play in theaters. You'll never stop seeing Ashley Tisdale at this rate.

Meanwhile, as far as the franchise's stars are concerned, Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were united on the blue carpet at the premiere, cuddling innocentmy enough for the throngs of under-12 fans.

"He's an amazing guy," Hudgens said of her gorgeous co-star.
