Students in one rural Kentucky county, and their parents, are not what you'd call fans of the healthy school lunches touted by First Lady Michelle Obama.

“They say it tastes like vomit,” said Harlan County Public Schools board member Myra Mosley at last week's meeting, according to The Harlan Daily Enterprise.

M.O. Lunch

New USDA meal regulations implemented under the “Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010″ has long been a signature issue for the first lady.

Denizens of Harlan County aren't exactly impressed, however.

Board members claim that have received bevy of complaints that area children are "starving" at lunch and for the remainder of the school day.

Why? The food tastes like arse and there's not enough of it.

Kate Middleton stepped out for the first time since giving birth to Prince George, giving royal onlookers their first glimpse of her post-baby body.

Which looks predictably, astoundingly perfect. Some people ...

Doing some shopping at her local Waitrose supermarket in Anglesey, Wales, Kate Middleton revealed a stunningly slim post-baby body on Monday.

The 31-year-old dressed casually in a white and black striped shirt, black skinny jeans, flats and her hair pulled up in a ponytail, looking gorgeous as ever.

This is not to imply that Kate needed to lose baby weight in any particular time frame, or at all, in order to remain beautiful. But she has, and she is.

Her secret? Breastfeeding, yoga and genetics.

A woman in the UK recently woke up from a coma to discover she was 12 weeks pregnant with a child who somehow survived the crash that nearly killed her.

The baby was carried to term and is now 12 weeks old!

Despite major head injuries that left her unable to remember the previous three years of her life (including who the father was), Gemma Holmes is thrilled.

It's a miracle she even lived to see it. In fact, she named her son Ruben Miracle. The reasons are obvious, given what she went through to see him.

Holmes was tossed from her moped into a pole and was not expected to survive the traumatic crash. Her mother was told she was 12 weeks pregnant.

The Daughter of the Sun Instagram account run by Amy Woodruff, better known to many as “Naked Yoga Breastfeeding Mom,” has been shut down.

Fans of the viral star are not happy about it, either.

Amy Woodruff became a viral star back in 2011 after she posted a photo of herself doing yoga while naked and breastfeeding, on her blog.

But nobody knew much about the woman behind Daughter of the Sun until she gave a recent interview to BabyCenter about "where she is now."

Since that update was published back on August 6, Woodruff's “simple” life in Hawaii has been interrupted by a firestorm of online commentary.

Germany will allow babies born with no clear gender-determining anatomy to be put on the national birth register without a "male" or "female" classification.

The "third gender option" takes effect November 1.

A study by the German Ethics Council concluded that the rights of intersex individuals against irreversible medical interventions should be better protected.

"If a child cannot be designated male or female, then they should be entered on the birth register without such a status," the country's new law states.

At least 150 intersex babies are born in Germany each year up to 10,000 people have "serious variations" from physical gender-defining characteristics.

As prenatal testing for Down syndrome becomes more and more common, many women will face an array of information about their unborn children. B

The testing also confronts expectant moms with difficult choices, of course, and leads to a related question posed frequently these days as a result:

How do counselors help women make these decisions?

Devan Weathers, 20 weeks pregnant, tells the Huffington Post that she was pulling into her office parking lot from a lunch break when she got the phone call.

Her second pregnancy had resulted in two abnormal ultrasounds, and her doctor had said she would be a good candidate for a new test called "Harmony."

Shopping for a wedding dress isn't always the joyous experience it's cracked up to be ... especially if you're a plus-size bride and they wrap you in an elastic band beforehand.

Seriously, this happened to Chastity Garner.

A stylist herself by profession, Garner recently had a horrible experience in a bridal salon, which she described to The Huffington Post:

"When I went in to get fitted [for a wedding dress] they wouldn't put the gown on me because the gown was a size eight, so they pushed it up to me."

Then, she recalled, "they took an elastic band around my body and held it up ... I thank God that I'm a stylist and I know what works for me."

"But what about all those girls who don't have that eye?"

If you thought Kim Kardashian's QuickTrim was bad, an Iowa woman recently bought a tapeworm on the Internet and ate it in a bid to lose weight.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, she got sick and went to the doctor, who was so stumped that he had to call the state health department for guidance.

The agency told the doctor to have his patient de-wormed by way of a special medication that kills the parasite. Yes ... he had a woman de-wormed.

Dr. Patricia Quinlisk, medical director at the Iowa Department of Public Health, recounted the incident in an e-mail to public-health workers Thursday.

The image of a mom breastfeeding while practicing yoga naked went viral awhile back. Now, the subject of that photo, Amy, is speaking out in its defense.

Amy tells BabyCenter that the photo was not staged, like many thought it was. She really does do this regularly, and unapologetically at that:

"The truth is we were living on a small community in Hawaii where our land was clothing optional and yoga was/is a necessity!" Amy said.

"I was just doin’ my daily flow when the little sweet pea came to sneak a suckle."

Amy said she chose a "simple life" in her 20s, focusing on what she believes are core values and traveling with minimal commitments.
