Heroes star Hayden Panettiere was spotted at LAX airport the other day, and looking as cute as ever. But what we're most interested in are the rumors we've been hearing - that she might be moving in with Milo Ventimiglia.

Somehow we doubt it, since Hayden is, you know, 18. Milo? A little older. We are all good with their relationship, but moving in is a little fast, you'd think, since she was still dating Stephen Colletti last summer. But who knows.

Just the same, the 18-year-old hottie was seen house hunting in L.A. recently with her mother. Hayden Panettiere and her mom-ager, Leslie, peeped some condos, mostly in and around Beverly Hills. We've heard that's a pretty nice area.

Everyone wants a little independence at that age. We just can't help but wonder if Hayden is still pure as the driven snow... or Julianne Hough.

Anyway. No word on whether she'd be keen on Hayden living with her man, but Leslie Panettiere reportedly approves of Milo Ventimiglia.

Says a source: "Hayden's mom adores Milo. She thinks he's so cute. She tells her friends that he's her boyfriend. She's very proud."

Who wouldn't be? That Milo Ventimiglia is a handsome fella.

Er, buy Hayden Panettiere's bag. Sorry, don't know what was going on in our minds there. Actually we do, but it's probably best if we don't share.

In other Hayden Panettiere news, the 18-year-old starlet was a guest on Larry King Live last night, joined by Rosario Dawson, Lance Armstrong, Wycelf Jean and Josh Groban to talk about the importance of your voice - and your vote.

No word on whether Hayden Panettiere endorses Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton ... or John McCain. Unless someone saves the whales, or at least sounds convincing in saying they will, they may not get her support!

Not that way, guys. Go take a cold shower and calm yourselves.

Hayden Panettiere is opening up about why she ended her romance with Laguna Beach alumnus and Hollywood's Junior Varsity man-slut, Stephen Colletti.

"I just knew I wanted to breathe," Panettiere, 18, says in the April issue of Seventeen magazine. "I wanted to be single at the time."

Of the need to take time for just her, she said: "It just hit me like a ton of bricks: This is the time I need to be with myself. It takes such a secure person to be with someone like me ... it takes so much confidence; it takes so much trust."

Ouch. So Stephen Colletti is neither confident or trustworthy? Dude did two-time Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari, of course. Just sayin'.

At least Hayden found a new love right away: marine mammals.

A warrant was issued for her arrest in Japan after she interfered in a dolphin hunt last year. Hayden was undeterred by the violent protest.

"There's very little that scares me," the actress tells Seventeen.

Hayden Panettiere doesn't apologize for being so outspoken.

"I've always been a physical person. I feel like a lot of time in this industry, a lot of people loan their face to a cause, which is great, but it doesn't do as much as getting out there and actually physically doing something."

"I don't need to prove myself to anyone," she says. "I'm not that kind of person. I know myself much better now than I did [before], and my opinions of things and my morals - I am not as easily swayed as I used to be."

"When you learn to accept yourself, learn to be okay with yourself and know yourself, the easier it is to love somebody and allow them to love you."

What a strong young woman this beauty is. Amen to that, Hayden Panettiere. She's currently dating Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia. Lucky stiff.

Stephen Colletti of Laguna Beach fame recently turned 22.

Not in attendance at the JV player's big birthday bash: Lauren Conrad. Or Kristin Cavallari. Or Hayden Panettiere. Nope, none of his exes showed up.

The latter two did come out of hiding on Thursday, however, cozying up (and maybe even dishing secrets) during a party at Hollywood hot spot Hyde!

Laguna Beach's Kristin Cavallari and Heroes' Hayden Panettiere both dated Stephen Colletti. We really hate Stephen Colletti right about now.

Kristin, 21, is back on the market after breaking up with Nick Zano, who she dated for like a year, after Colletti... and Brody Jenner. Hayden, 18, also moved on from Stephen to an older man - co-star Milo Ventimiglia. Go Halo!

As for Stephen, we believe him to be single.

But, given his track record of dating all the young celebrities we have crushes on, he should be getting it on with Blake Lively or Carrie Underwood any day now.

Many undecided voters are faced with a tough choice between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Count Hayden Panettiere among them.

The Heroes cutie said this week that she was "not yet prepared to say" which of the Democratic presidential hopefuls she supports.

"I had a conversation with Barack Obama," the 18-year-old girlfriend of Milo Ventimiglia said. "I'm waiting to hear from Hillary Clinton."

The big issue for the actress? Whales.

A source tells celebrity news sites that when Hayden attended a February 1 dinner with former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton, and "Hayden Panettiere made it clear to Chelsea she'll vote for whoever will help save the whales."
