We might have to start watching Heroes again, because if this future story line is any indication, the show is about to turn a creative corner and recapture the magic that made it one of TV's most riveting shows in 2006-2007.

Ha, we almost got through that with a straight face. In reality, the show will very likely continue to suck, though this cheap, shark-jumping stunt does look hot.

As Heroes spoilers have hinted for months, a Hayden Panettiere lesbian kiss is coming our way in next week's episode. The lucky girl involved? Madeline Zima.

Motivated by strong ratings urges and an exciting new desperation for publicity character, Claire opts for some girl-on-girl action with roommate Gretchen ...

Heroes sucks. As does Madeline Zima, with Hayden Panettiere's face.

Of course, the actual scene is likely brief and Claire is unlikely to go full-on G-on-G from here on out. But hey, they make a pretty cute couple, don't they?

Maybe Hayden heard Milo Ventimiglia and Jaimie Alexander are dating and wanted to show him what he's missing? Whatever the reason, fierce!

That's where the similarities end. Katrina Bowden is a supporting player on a show that was just named Best Comedy Series, and whose primary role is to lob occasional funny 30 Rock quotes in the direction of her boss, Tina Fey, and act like an airhead.

Hayden Panettiere is one of the primary characters on Heroes, which is apparently still on the air despite the rampant jumping of sharks in recent seasons.

Both looked great at last night's Emmys, though, didn't they? Unless red on the red carpet is a faux pas, Hayden. Not sure about that. It's hard to see her!

We're not sure if this is an upward or lateral move for Hayden Panettiere.

Having recently been linked to British TV presenter Steve Jones (and therefore receiving Pamela Anderson's sloppy seconds), the star is now dating Harry Morton, owner of the Viper Room and Pink Taco restaurant chain - and Lindsay Lohan's ex.

She's certainly not dating in her league. Personally, her choice of men is heading down a similar path as her career, which was looking so promising with Heroes but took a nosedive with ... well, Heroes, along with I Love You, Beth Cooper.

Not even Hayden Panettiere nude could save that epic crap-fest.

In any case, she and Harry Morton were spotted walking her dogs in Malibu yesterday. That's nice. Gotta take advantage of those leisurely summer days before she has to go back to middle school. September's right around the corner.

We are of the opinion that NBC's sci-fi hit Heroes kind of sucks.

Hayden Panettiere, apparently, feels likewise about our profession.

The 19-year-old actress has spent a lot of time growing up in front of the cameras, having worked in the industry since she could barely walk.

But she’s still not used to the celebrity gossip limelight.

She blames the paparazzi for ruining her relationships, most notably the one she had with Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia. Panettiere said she’s pissed by the endless cycle of the public craving details about celebs, and the paparazzi who feed it.

Not that she plays into this by posing in Details or anything.

“It’s very, very difficult and people have no idea what they do to peoples’ relationships. They destroy them. The paparazzi and the public,” she told Company.

“The public wants to read about your personal life, and the paparazzi give it to them by nosing into your personal life and saying things that are horrible.”

Sure, she's got a point. But she also dated a 30-year-old guy when she was 18, and stars on a hugely successful show. That's going to attract some attention.

Since breaking up with Milo, she has been linked to British TV presenter Steve Jones (age 32, for those keeping score). She's sported some bikinis and a misspelled tattoo lately, both of which are going to be magnets for attention, too!
