Look out, folks. It might be on between Harry Potter and the Twilight Saga!

In a recent interview with the British version of OK! Magazine, Emma Watson talks up Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which comes out on November 19. Specifically, she's asked about a romantic moment between Hermione and Ron and responds:

Hermione

"This kiss between Hermione and Ron is highly anticipated, it's been building up for eight films now. And Harry Potter is not Twilight, you know; we're not selling sex."

Snaps, yo! Did Watson just imply that the Harry Potter franchise offers in-depth character analysis and storytelling, while Twilight just relies on the hot bodies of Taylor Lautner and company, while teasing the sexual tension between Edward and Bella?

You tell us: Which is your favorite movie franchise?

There was plenty for viewers to scream over at last night's MTV Movie Awards:

But there was more to the event than hot fashion and make-out sessions.

A pair of major movies were previewed, as the ceremony gave us sneak peek at both Eclipse and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

The latter will hit theaters in November and be broken up into a pair of films. Below, get your first look at action and confrontations (Harry vs. Ron?!?) from it:

From there, try to keep your hyperventillating to a minmum, as you check out a scene from Eclipse. In it, Bella hops aboard Jacob's bike, soon after being warned that she's "the one the red head wants."

Darn you, Victoria...

Muggles, rejoice.

And breathe a sigh of relief because the following is NOT a Harry Potter spoiler.

Instead, it's a very positive review by The New York Times of the final installment in the wonderful series by J.K. Rowling.

And the newspaper loves the book.

The Times purchased a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in a New York City bookstore Wednesday and then reviewed the 759-page volume in its news section today. And not since news of possible Lindsay Lohan nude photos broke have we been so excited.

That's because the paper's critic, Michiko Kakutani, gives the book a glowing review and especially approves of the "heart-racing, bone-chilling" ending, which she does not reveal.

Comparing Rowling's achievement to that of The Wizard of Oz author L. Frank Baum and Lord of the Rings chronicler J.R.R. Tolkien, the review likens Harry to King Arthur, Spider-Man and Luke Skywalker.

We're just glad he didn't include Perez Hilton in the comparison.

A "monumental, spellbinding epic," says Kakutani, who brushes off "some lumpy passages of exposition and a couple of clumpy detours" in favor of praising "Rowling's astonishingly limber voice."

Meanwhile, Rowling's American publisher, Scholastic, Inc., is taking legal action against two distributors, Levy Home Entertainment and DeepDiscount.com, for shipping the book ahead of schedule and helping people spoil the adventures of Harry Potter, Hermone Granger and friends.

The Hollywood Gossip has even been yelled at for printing images from the tome. But we do apologize and vow to just make fun of Britney Spears from now on.

We've already posted a few Harry Potter spoilers from that icon's final chapter, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

But what kind of celebrity news reporters would we be if we didn't reveal a bit of the upcoming movie, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, as well?

A Haircut for Harry

Here is Daniel Radcliffe, for example. And while he isn't ogling over any bare boobs this time, the star of the film is sporting a an odd haircut.

We wonder why. Might Voldemort have gotten his hands on Harry's shampoo and conditioner? What exactly is that Phoenix ordering, bad hairstylists to take over the world? Britney Spears looks better bald than Potter looks above. Okay, that's not true.

Meanwhile, take a look below: Harry Potter is kissing someone… and it's not Hermione (played by Emma Watson). Wonder what this is all about.

Harry and... ?

Readers, beware: some people may be more interested in Harry Potter spoilers than they are in Britney Spears nude pics.

Others, however, would prefer to discover the fate of Harry, Ron and Hermione on their own when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hits bookstores later this summer.

If you fall into the latter camp, STOP READING THIS POST NOW. This is your last warning. Go read about Suri Cruise walking or Paris Hilton feeling sorry for herself or something. Because we're about to reveal the possible ending to the final Harry Potter book...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Are Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows spoilers legitimate? We'll leave that up to you to decide.

A computer hacker that goes by the name "Gabriel" claims he knows how the J.K. Rowling tale will end: Hagrid is killed by Professor Snape during an attempted ambush of Hermione and Ron. The latter two flee, but are surprised by Voldermort... who engages in a magical duel with Hermione, who is killed in order to protect Ron.

In the end, Harry Potter defeats his enemy and Hogwarts becomes safe haven again. But Harry's closest ally pays the ultimate price for it.

So there you have it.

Nothing is a secret for very long in the world of entertainment these days. We practically knew Kate Walsh was signed up for a Grey's Anatomy spinoff before she did.

With this in mind, J.K. Rowling is pleading with fans of her world-renowned series: Don't give away any Harry Potter spoilers.

Harry Potter Poster

The final chapter in the journey of this young magician is set to hit stores on July 21 when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is released. More people may actually read it that day than visit The Hollywood Gossip. But we understand.

As the date approaches - and celebrity gossip sites learn tidbits about the tome - Rowling is afraid this information will ruin the story for readers.

"We're a little under three months away, now, and the first distant rumblings of the weirdness that usually precedes a Harry Potter publication can be heard on the horizon," Rowling wrote on her website on Monday.

"I want the readers who have, in many instances, grown up with Harry, to embark on the last adventure they will share with him without knowing where they are they going."

It's an understandable concern. The number of online searches for the phrase "Harry Potter Book 7 Spoilers" has been climbing across various search engines for weeks now. It's almost as popular a topic as Tricia Helfer nude pics.

But perhaps Rowling should focus on another issue:

Daniel Radcliffe appears to have moved on from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to breast-staring 101. The author may wish to do something about that.
