For Kendra Wilkinson, speaking to reporters from her hospital room the day she gave birth wasn't enough.

Neither was posing on the cover of a tabloid and focusing on her diet as much as her newborn baby.

The reality TV star and former Playmate had to continue cashing in on motherhood by plastering photos of herself, her son and her husband all over the latest issue of OK! Weekly.

Hugh Hefner's one-tie sex toy spoke to the magazine about her new life and the man at the center of it. A few excerpts follow:

On Hank Baskett:"Hank is the man. He makes sure we're taken care of, and he gives us so much love. He's perfect."

On holding her son for the first time: "I started crying. I was like, 'Oh my God, it's the happiest day of my life!' I was just in heaven."

On changes to her world: “A whole new life just started for u. I’m still going to be me, though. I’m at a place now where I can have fun but not go overboard. I’m a lot more responsible now. I’m a mom!”

In her latest blog entry, Kendra Wilkinson writes about the joys of being a mother. She says:

Lil hank has enriched our lives more than we ever dreamed possible and now i cant imagine my world without him.

The former nude model then shares a few pictures of newborn Hank Baskett IV, all of which are incredibly adorable until one remembers: she made hundreds of thousands of dollars by snapping these pics for OK! Weekly from her hospital room.

Still, let's not puilsh baby Hank for that fact. He's one cute kid!

Kendra Wilkinson wasted no time giving an interview after she became a mother. She spoke to OK! Weekly from the hospital hours after welcoming Hank Baskett IV into the world.

Similarly, the former nude model says she wants to waste little time expanding her family.

“We definitely want another kid right away, because we want the two kids to be close in age,” she said recently. “We want four, but you know, we are taking it one step at a time. We’re concentrating on our first child and seeing where things go from there.”

For Baskett, a wide receiver on the Colts, catching touchdown passes and breaking tackles isn't what life is all about.

“Being a loving husband and father is what I’ve always described as the definition of a successful man," he said.

Kendra, meanwhile, is accustomed to attention via her naked body. But a baby does even more for her profile... and her family.

“He completes the family,” she told OK!. "It’s so cool how this little baby, this little bundle of joy, just brought all families together. Hank’s family was out here, everybody was out here for this. Not one person was missing.”

During her time with Hugh Hefner, Kendra Wilkinson learned how to use her vagina; change diapers; and make headlines.

Now, in her marriage to Hank Baskett, the former Girl Next Door has mastered all three skills.

She squeezed out her first kid last week, giving birth to Hank Baskett IV on December 11. Mere days later, from her hospital room, Kendra spoke to OK! Weekly about the process of child bearing.

"I was induced early in the morning; then it was wait, wait, wait. I was experiencing contractions throughout the day, and I was anxious. I kept checking the monitor every second, like 'Is it happening yet?'" she said.

Once the tyke was born, Wilkinson said: "I was just in heaven."

Makes sense. She likely already had a deal in place for cashing in on the birth via the cover story below.

Fellow E! star Kourtney Kardashian also gave birth for the first time this week. There's no doubt she and her valuable asset son will soon be featured on a magazine cover.

The dueling children got us to wondering: Which of these newborns is worse off - Mason Dash Disick or Hank Baskett IV?

It's a boy for Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett!

Their son, Hank Randall Baskett IV, was delivered via C-section at 12:37 a.m. on Friday in Indiana, where Baskett is a wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts.

The baby boy is 9 lbs., 5 oz., and 22 inches long. Definitely the dimensions of a future NFL star like dad! Both mother and child are said to be very healthy.

Kendra Wilkinson's due date was December 12.

The Girls Next Door star announced the pregnancy weeks before she got married to Baskett in a June 27 ceremony at the Playboy mansion in Los Angeles.

Sharing pregnancy news with fans 24/7, the Kendra star expressed joy – and choice of baby names – upon discovering that she would be welcoming a son.

"We already decided to name our son Hank Baskett IV," she said. "Hank's dad and grandfather were both named Hank, so we'll carry on the family tradition."

Just don't expect a sibling anytime soon.

"I told Hank, 'You know what you're getting in your stocking this Christmas?'" Kendra recently joked. "Not coal - well a little bit of that - but condoms. A whole lot of condoms. I want a little girl. In a couple of years."

Pregnancy is not sexy.

Look, our staff loves babies. In the interest of full disclosure, in fact, our Secretary is expecting his first child this spring. But that doesn't mean we need to see knocked up celebrities parading around in a bikini, about to pop.

Especially when that celebrity (let's refer to her as "Kendra Wilkinson") is clearly making money off her state by posing for a supermarket tabloid. It's just creepy all around.

Shockingly, Kendra has not heeded this advice, however, and is featured (in all her pregnant glory) in the latest issue of In Touch Weekly.

Inside the magazine, Kendra keeps grossing us out by explaining how pregnancy has affected her sex life.

"I am a wild girl in bed and I can’t really be that wild anymore because I have limits now. I have 40 extra pounds in my belly, so I get tired easily. But... I have a great man in bed, he definitely knows how to please me."

Way to go, Hank Baskett. We guess.

The Indianapolis Colts have just trimmed the ranks of the unemployed by one. We had a feeling the recession was on the verge of turning around!

Hank Baskett, the football player husband of Kendra Wilkinson, is en route to Indianapolis, Ind., where he is expected to sign with the NFL's Colts.

The Philadelphia Eagles cut the dad-to-be from its 53-man roster this week to make room for the more controversial and talented Michael Vick.

In the immediate aftermath of Hank getting cut from Philly, THG posited that the New York Giants would be a good fit, as they also need receivers.

We're glad Baskett managed to catch on with the Colts in any case.

The only problem? Hanks's favorite "receiver" and "tight end" will need to trade in this Eagles jersey for a blue and white Indianapolis model ...

A word of advice to Hank Baskett, as he begins his career in Indy: Focus on football more than cheesy pics on Kendra's blog and maybe you won't get waived.

Michael Vick has struck again.

Fortunately, no pitbulls were injured as a result of the latest news surrounding Vick; just a Bunny and her husband.

Vick was taken off the Philadelphia Eagles exempt list today, meaning the team had to make room for the quarterback on its 53-man roster. The player cut by the squad? Mr. Kendra Wilkinson himself, Hank Baskett.

A wide receiver, Baskett is now free to catch on with any team in the NFL. Perhaps Philly's division rival, the New York Giants, could use his services.

That club recently lost wideout Hakeem Nicks to an injury. Moreover, Hank has extensive experience playing with giants. (That was a reference to Kendra's large boobs!)

Hank Baskett is now a statistic. He joins the rising ranks of America's unemployed.

With the celebrity gossip world wrapped up in Kourtney Kardashian's pregnancy, Kendra Wilkinson had to do something to get the attention back on her impending child.

So she and husband Hank Baskett gave the future therapy patient a name!

It will be Hank Baskett IV.

"Hank and I have soooo much to do to prepare for our baby's arrival, but one thing we can already cross off our list is coming up with a name," Kendra wrote on her blog. "We've already decided to name our son Hank Baskett IV!!!"

Wilkinson also chopped off a lot of her hair, reasoning that this is a natural step for any expectant mother.

"I really like it... it’s so much easier to manage and in a few months I’m definitely not going to have much time to deal with my hair so this is definitely a great change," she wrote.

No word on whether Kendra and Hank plan on getting a puppy for their son to play with. Probably not, considering Michael Vick is now Baskett's teammate.

Sure, they're reality stars too. But don't look for expecting parents-to-be Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett to go all Jon and Kate Gosselin on us.

K-Dubs says their baby, due Christmas Day, probably won't be on camera too much if she and Baskett continue starring on her reality show Kendra.

That is a lesson learned from Jon & Kate Plus 8. And we're talking about a lesson learned before Jon left Kate and started banging Hailey Glassman.

"We don't watch that anymore," Kendra tells E! Online. "I watched back when it was good and they weren't all Hollywood. I feel bad for the kids."

"If we do have a show, none of that's going to happen... I want to be able to spend quality time with my child and not give the world too much."

Wow, a star wanting less exposure? What a concept.

Looks like she's putting her money where her mouth is, too. Kendra Wilkinson is moving to Philadelphia to be with Hank for the football season.

"I need to get away and hibernate and be a protective mama," the newlywed explained. "I like the energy there, but everyone leaves me alone."

"I feel way more private [in Philly] than here, and that's what I need."

"It's perfect timing," she added of the East Coast winter. "That's where a real Christmas is. I want a real Christmas baby in a real Christmas place!"

After Kendra Wilkinson's baby bump is long gone, the happy couple will eventually land back on the West Coast, however. Going back to the roots.

"We're going to try to get a house to buy and live in with the baby," Kendra said. "We're thinking about San Diego County. Back to where I'm from!"
