We hope the following story isn't true, but unnamed sources are stating that Halle Berry may be left to raise her new baby alone.

Reportedly, the actress wants to bring up her child in Los Angeles. But boyfriend Gabriel Aubry wishes to remain in New York City in order to pursue his modeling career.

"She's been shocked by the news. Halle had always assumed Gabriel would move to the west coast so they could live together as one happy family," an inside said. "If Gabriel stays in New York, it'll mean long separations. She knows their relationship won't survive and has been begging him to change his mind."

Come on, Gabriel, see the parental light. You gotta be a presence in your kid's life. Do you really wanna be known as the Britney Spears of the modeling world?

The most exciting part of Halle Berry being pregnant? The adorable celebrity baby on the way.

But a close second, at least for boyfriend Gabriel Aubry? Let's just say there are two of them...

"There's no bad," Berry said Sunday at a press gathering for her new movie, Things We Lost in the Fire, which opens October 19.

"There is nothing bad about it. The morning sickness and the vomiting and the hot sweats. Nothing's been bad about it. I've loved every second of it," the Oscar winner added to People magazine.

In fact, there may be just one thing - or person - that Halle loves more han her baby bump: the man responsible for it.

"He's a wonderful person, and I happened to find someone really special to have a baby with," she said of Gabriel Aubry.

Before Halle Berry can squeeze out a baby for him, Gabriel Aubry has a few duties to fulfill.

One of them involves a certain random food.

"She does crave pickles," the model and soon-to-be father told People magazine at Macy's Herald Square in New York for "The World of Calvin Klein" event.

And it apparently doesn't matter what the pickles are placed on. Aubry went on to say Berry is happy with "any bread... as long as it's salt and pickles."

The couple is expecting its first child "sometime around spring," he said, as the actress joins other knocked up celebrities such as Christina Aguilera, Tameka Foster and Nicole Richie.

So, is there anything else Aubry does for Halle? Can he tell us without getting X-rated?

"She loves foot massages... I do all of that stuff," he said.

TMZ is reporting that the upcoming Lionsgate film Tulia has been scrapped to start filming in October. How come? Because the film's star, Halle Berry, is three months pregnant!

A source says Berry, who is currently dating cute model Gabriel Aubrey, was set to star in the movie about the drug and racial profiling scandal in Tulia, Texas. The movie was scheduled for a 2008 release and was to be directed by John Singleton.

It also would've starred Billy Bob Thornton.

Now that Berry is pulling a Tameka Foster on us, she had the following to say:

"Yes, I am three months pregnant," the Oscar winner told Access Hollywood on Tuesday. "Gabriel and I are beyond excited and I've waited a long time for this moment in my life."

We recognize that Halle Berry is an incredibly talented and award-winning actress. But that doesn't mean she's not ridiculously hot as well.

After splitting with Eric Benét in 2003, she called Justin Timberlake. He never phoned back. Hey, players play. "Why can you be so fine and not 35?" she gushed about Justin to Access Hollywood.

3) She feels empathy for Britney Spears!

Berry is going bald for the dramedy Nappily Ever After. Which conjures up images of another hot Cue Ball. "I thought, Wow, she beat me to it!" Berry jokes. "But I feel sad for Britney. I feel sorry for Britney."

When you look like scrappy American Idol contestant Sanjaya Malakar, why would you change your appearance?

Such is the mindset of Halle Berry, who says she's avoided plastic surgery so far â€" though she's not against it down the line.

"No, I haven't [had any]," the 40-year-old Oscar winner tells Reader's Digest for its April issue. "But that's one thing I'll never say never about, because I don't know."

Still, she does hope to "evolve as a person who realizes it's really not about my physical appearance and not be drawn to that seductive knife."

Sounds like something Ashlee Simpson could learn.

This is not the first time Berry has discussed the issue of appearance. At a London press conference back in 2004, she said:

"Being thought of as a beautiful woman has spared me nothing in life. No heartache, no trouble. Love has been difficult. Beauty is essentially meaningless and it is always transitory."

Well, sure. But tell that to Keeley Hazell.

Berry also revealed that she once didn't speak to her mother for a year-and-a-halt after her mom refused to send money when the actress was nearly broke.

"It was devastating because she had never said no to me for anything," says Berry. "I became totally self-sufficient. I vowed never to ask my mother or anybody for anything, ever. And I didn't."

She also didn't comment on our comparison of her and Kim Kardashian. But we just hope we didn't offend the lovely, talented star. Halle, not Kim. Obviously.

Finally, there is one thing Berry hasn't yet attained that she still hopes for â€" a child. Might she go the Angelina Jolie route? It's unclear, but ...

"I hope that happens," she says. "It's late; I've waited a little too long. But I want to have children. Absolutely."
