Is Dr. Richard Webber, a mainstay played by James Pickens, Jr., since the inception of Grey's Anatomy way back in the spring of 2005, alive or dead?

It's perhaps the most pressing question on the minds of fans heading into next week's Season 10 premiere, and a new sneak preview clip gets right to it.

Well, the uncertainty at last. First, Richard must be found ...

The task of establishing his whereabouts is delegated to Shane Ross by Miranda Bailey in the two-hour event. At least the task was Shane's originally.

In the sneak preview clip above, we learn which staff member tracks Webber down, only to join him in what appears to be a very unconscious state.

Grey's Anatomy Season 10 premieres next Thursday.

Grey's Anatomy left fans hanging in May, and this explosive new promo for the two-hour Season 10 premiere promises to pick up right where we left off.

The storm. Isn't. Over.

Ominously titled "Seal Our Fate," the episode is previewed below in a TV spot hastagged #whowillsurvive and jam packed with drama. Watch the promo:

Teases of destruction and possible deaths to come - someone actually calls time of death at one point, but we don't know for who of course - are abundant.

Oh, Shonda Rhimes. You always leave us wanting more.

Bailey pleads with Cristina to help save a patient, urging her, "He's going to die if we don't do anything!" The reply: "I own this hospital. You work for me."

Wow. Also, Meredith is in the dark as far as what happened while she had her baby, and the faces of the surgeons suggest this may be the end for Richard.

Grey's Anatomy Season 10 kicks off September 26.

Five-time Emmy nominee Sandra Oh has announced that she will depart Grey's Anatomy following its 10th season on ABC, ending in May 2014.

The actress said Tuesday, "It's such an interesting thing to play a character for so long and to actually get the sense that she wants to be let go as well."

"Creatively, I really feel like I gave it my all, and I feel ready to let her go."

"[Cristina] wants to be let go, and I am ready to let her go. We have to start the process, story-wise, for the writers to think of why she's going to go."

Oh signed a two-year extension with the series in May 2012, as did co-stars Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey, whose deals are also up next spring.

We learned the TVD season premiere title earlier today. Now the Grey's Anatomy Season 10 premiere title has been revealed by ABC sources, as well.

"Seal Our Fate." Sorry Richard?

Grey's Anatomy Lovebirds

The title may not bode well for the character played by original cast member James Pickens, Jr., but it could also mean a number of other things, of course.

The two-hour premiere of the long-running medical drama will focus on the new interns, as well as Meredith and Derek (above) after her brutal birth experience.

Grey's Anatomy Season 10 premieres on Thursday, September 26.

The world of Grey's Anatomy is about to be rocked again in May's ninth season finale, but not by a mass shooting, plane crash, bus crash or ferry crash.

What's to come for the doctors? Grey's Anatomy spoilers below ...

Meredith and Derek on Grey's Anatomy

This time it's a weather-related disaster waiting to strike!

A natural disaster, a la Superstorm Sandy, will begin building in the penultimate episode of the ABC medical drama, "Readiness Is All," on May 9.

The May 16 season finale's title: "Perfect Storm."

Sort of sums it up right there, doesn't it?

Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo was among the People's Choice Awards winners Wednesday night. For Favorite Dramatic TV Actress, not Favorite Crotch Shot.

She might as well have won the latter, though. When she walked up to accept the honor, she held up her dress, spread her legs and flashed her crotch for all to see.

Grey's Anatomy? More like Pink's Anatomy! Or something. Sorry.

Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, real estate broker Aryn Drake-Lee, in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The couple, who have been together more than five years, exchanged vows in a romantic, elegant, evening ceremony in front of close family and friends.

"Jesse was beaming with joy throughout the entire ceremony," said a guest at the wedding. "It was the perfect night with lots of smiling, laughing and emotion."

"You could feel the love they have for each other. They're madly in love!"

The TV heartthrob first met his bride while he was working as a schoolteacher in New York, before getting his big break in the acting world.

"She's been with me through all different facets of my career," Williams said. "She's stuck with me through thick and thick and thick and thin."

"We know each other in and out."

Congratulations to Jesse and Aryn. For more on the upcoming season of his hit show, check out TV Fanatic's Grey's Anatomy spoilers page!

The halls of Seattle Grace are about to get a whole lot less steamy. McSteamy, that is, as star Eric Dane has announced his intentions to leave Grey's Anatomy.

“I am extremely grateful to everyone at Grey’s, ABC and Shondaland for the experience and memories I have had over the course of this run,” Dane told TV Line in a statement. “It has been wonderful to work alongside and learn from a creative force such as [creator] Shonda Rhimes.”

Eric Dane as Mark Sloane

Dane will stick around to finish off his character's storyline - Season 8 concluded with Mark Sloane's long-time love, Lexie, dying in a plane crash - as Rhimes said the actor "did not come to this decision lightly," adding:

"We’re a big family here at Grey’s with a long history together and Eric will always remain an important part of our family. I wish him the best and I look forward to watching him as he continues to steam up the big and small screen.”

Grey's Anatomy Season 9 premiere on ABC September 27.

This move should free Dane up with more time to film another naked movie.

Grey's Anatomy and Broadway star Sara Ramirez is a married woman!

Last week, "On July 4, 2012, after a yearlong engagement, Sara Ramirez and Ryan Debolt were married in an intimate ceremony in New York," he rep says.

"The private event was attended by close family and friends."

Sara and Ryan

Sara Ramirez and Ryan Debolt got engaged in Paris last summer.

As for the fate of Callie's wife Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) on the ABC medical drama, well, she's still lost in the wilderness after the plane crash that killed Lexie.

Something tells THG by the time Grey's Anatomy Season 9 comes around, Arizona, Callie, Mark and Sofia will be a unique, happy family again. Hopefully.

More importantly, congrats to Sara and Ryan on the nuptials!

Sarah Drew has become a first-time mom.

The Grey’s Anatomy star delivered son Micah Emmanuel Lanfer at 6:21 p.m. Wednesday in Los Angeles. She did not know the gender until that very moment!

“She and her husband, Peter Lanfer, are in love with him!” her rep says of the couple’s new baby boy, who weighed in at 7 lbs., 4 oz and is 19 inches long.

Sarah in late November, when she was seven months along.

“I thought it would be a good idea to wait to find out because I'm such a control freak by nature,” Drew explained of their decision to be surprised at the birth.

“I am about to walk into this chapter of my life where I have no control over anything anymore, and I figured I’d ease myself into it by not allowing myself to plan."

"It was hard but in the end it’s good training for me!”

Congratulations to Sarah and her growing family, and expect another new addition to the extended Grey's family this year - Jessica Capshaw is pregnant again!
