Megan Fox once said Olivia Wilde was "so sexy, she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox."

Fortunately, despite these actresses both appearing at last night's Golden Globe Awards, no animals were harmed.

But the jaws of men everywhere might be sore today, after crashing to the floor following the sight of two such beauties at the same place. Neither took home a trophy, but we have a feeling either could go home with anyone they wanted to overall.

Which star looked the most stunning on the red carpet? That's up to you to decide.

Well, this is awkward.

As celebrity news tabloids repeatedly try to pair Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds together in the wake of their recent divorces, she ran into his soon-to-be former spouse, Scarlett Johansson, at the Golden Globe Awards last night.

We had little choice but to pit them against each other in our first Golden Globes Fashion Face-Off of the day. Who do you think dressed better? Vote below:

Ricky Gervais kicked off the 2011 Golden Globe Awards by staying true to his vow to be more subversive than he was a year ago. Just ask Tom Cruise and John Travolta, at whom the comedian aimed this opening joke:

"Also not nominated was I Love You Philip Morris, Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor. Two heterosexual characters pretending to be gay. So the complete opposite of some famous Scientologists, then... Probably. My lawyers helped me with the wording of that joke. They're not here."

And with that... the show was off! Watch Gervais' intro here, following by a list of the event's major winners:

Best Television Series: Drama
Boardwalk Empire

Best Performance by an Actress In A Television Series: Drama
Katey Sagal: Sons of Anarchy (TV Fanatic note: YES!!!!!!)

Now that's comedic.

Angelina Jolie is as confused as the rest of us at her Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Comedy or Musical ... for The Tourist.

Backstabbing Jen!

Come on, Hollywood Foreign Press. If you want to toss an A-list star a nomination strictly for the buzz or access, go ahead. But ... it's a spy thriller.

Thanks, Golden Globes ... I think!

Chelsea Handler's enemy said she and Johnny Depp "were laughing because it's the first time that I've been in the comedic category ... it's new for me."

She will face off against Annette Bening and Julianne Moore (The Kids Are All Right), Anne Hathaway (Love and Other Drugs) and Emma Stone (Easy A).

Depp, who also received a nod for his performance, along with one for Alice in Wonderland, said he was "very touched" by the double nomination.

His funny bone in particular.

It was a pretty good evening for Ugly Betty and a few other shows at the Golden Globe Awards last night.

In a pleasant surprise, America Ferrera (pictured) took home the trophy for best TV comedy actress.

Morgan Freeman Pic

She dedicated it to everyone who is not exactly beautiful - somewhere, Anna Nicole Smith was weeping with gratitude.

Meanwhile, the movie Dreamgirls won for best musical or comedy, while former American Idol Jennifer Hudson remained an Oscar favorite with a victory for best supporting actress.

In other awards news:

  • Grey's Anatomy was the best TV drama series. We agree.
  • The winner of top actor in a musical or comedy was none other than Borat himself: Sacha Baron Cohen.
  • Babel was named best movie. As if Brad Pitt didn't have enough in his life to be thankful for.

Helen Mirren was best actress for her role in The Queen.

But we have nothing funny to say about that.
