Who sings a better ballad, Jessica Sanchez or Lea Michele?

Television viewers may be able to answer this question later this year, as sources confirm that the American Idol runner-up is nearing a deal to guest star on Glee Season 4.

Details are unknown at this time and Sanchez would not appear until around midseason because she could not start shooting until the American Idol Live tour is finished in September.

But TV Line claims Jessica will stop by multiple episodes and either get involved with Michele's Rachel in New York or the core singing group in Ohio. She'd be the latest big name to play a role on Glee, with Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker already signed on for the new season.

The only question remaining: Does Glenn Beck think Jessica Sanchez will make Glee more horrifying or less horrifying?

Glenn Beck gave a speech on Friday at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference and made two very simple points: Glee is destroying America; and he knows how to fix it.

The former Fox News anchor told attendees that he and his wife watched a recent episode of the Fox hit and could not believe it dared to address topics such as homosexuality and bullying.

"It's horrifying some of the things that they're teaching high schoolers," Beck said of Glee. "But it's brilliantly done. It's produced, brilliantly. Its music, brilliant. Its acting, brilliant. Its cinematography, brilliant. All of it!"

So what is a conservative pundit to do in the face of such disgusting propaganda? Come up with a counter alternative, of course.

Beck won't reveal what he has in mind, but told the crowd he has "spent about a year now trying to put together a push-back [to Glee] with artists, with music. But not the stereotypical conservative Lee Greenwood music."

He has named the mysterious initiative his "Oedipus Project" because "the left will be making out with me and they'll never see it coming."

All Beck has said about the project is that it will somehow involve a rapper and more information will be revealed at his three-day "Restoring Love" event July 28 at Cowboy Stadium in Dallas. Really, that's a thing.

This is not the first time Beck has gone off on Glee. Last year, he referred to the show as a "nightmare" that centered on "self-gratification."

Glee concluded an uneven third season last night with a finale that made one thing clear: nothing will be the same at William McKinley High School.

Following premature talk from creator Ryan Murphy that the graduating Glee seniors would not return to the show this fall, it's now been made clear that Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and every actor/actress will play some role on season four.

But they won't be roaming the high school hallways any longer. Next season is expected to shift between NYC and Ohio.

So, where did all the seniors end up?

Brittany will be forced to remain in high school because her GPA is 0.0; Rachel got into NYADA, but Kurt did not; Santana received permission to follow her musical dreams to New York; Mercedes will be a back-up singer on an indie label; Mike is going to Chicago; and Puck to California.

Oh, and Kurt dumped Rachel so she could pursue her dreams solo - and joined the army!

Apparently President Obama's support for gay marriage, which he announced yesterday, does not sit well with Bristol Palin. Nor does the Fox hit Glee.

In an anti-gay marriage blog post aimed at Obama's first statement advocating same-sex marriage rights, Sarah Palin's daughter does not hold back.

In short, Bristol feels Barack is a stupid man, a weak leader and a bad father. Why? Because of his daughters' role in his evolving gay marriage stance.

The President of the United States

"While it’s great to listen to your kids’ ideas, there’s also a time when dads simply need to be dads," says the 21-year-old spawn of Sarah.

"In this case, it would’ve been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, that’s not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage."

The unwed mother, whose baby daddy is totally MIA, continues, "As great as her friends may be – we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids’ worldview."

Unless they're Levi Johnston.

Guest-starring as herself, Lohan channels her inner judge (the show business kind) as she sizes up the competition at Nationals on the Season 3 finale.

The casting news was announced in March just after LiLo, who has officially satisfied her probation terms in her DUI case, hosted Saturday Night Live.

"Glee was fun to do!" she Tweeted Monday. "It made me want to live in a world of musicals where people always just burst out into song & dance!"

Despite reports that she was a nightmare on the set of Glee, Lohan's guest role was reportedly well-received by the cast and producers. Can't wait!

Amber Riley created quite a commotion on the red carpet last night, fainting in front of her co-stars and photographers at a TV Academy event in Los Angeles honoring Glee.

"Hey guys, I'm okay :) I got a little dizzy from all the photog flashes!" the actress Tweeted soon after the scare. "You'd think I's be used to it by now, still a red carpet amateur I guess. Gonna get checked out but I feel fine. Thank you for all the concern and well wishes."

Riley recovered in time to participate in the show's panel discussion, adding an online thank you to those around her during the collapse.

"I'd also like to thank the photographers for being professional and not taking photos of me on the ground. I truly truly appreciate it. Could have been super embarrassing."

Somewhere, that gargoyle Rosie O'Donnell is cackling.

Lindsay Lohan's tenure on the Glee set may not go down as her finest hour, according to a source quoted by E! who claims she was "incredibly late" and that production had to send a car to the Chateau Marmont hotel to pick her a$$ up.

Par for the course really.

La Lohan

"Lindsay was a total nightmare yesterday," says one (clearly less than thrilled) source on the Glee set of their guest star. "She was three hours late in the morning."

"When she did arrive, she just didn't want to be there. She did not want to work. She had not memorized her lines, and kept disappearing so no one could find her."

Some staffers on set were so miffed, they dubbed her "That Girl," adding, "She has rubbed them all up the wrong way by being so disrespectful of everyone else."

On the flip side, a highly placed Glee source says Lohan's scene went "really great, she was so professional and it looked like everything was going to go so well."

Lindsay's spokesman Steve Honig insists she was late because of a "misunderstanding" about her call time, and is displeased with this report. He says:

On second thought, Gotye doesn't really hate what Glee did to his beloved single, "Somebody That I Used to Know."

A few days after referring to that show's cover of the track as "dinky and wrong," Gotye clarified the meaning behind his comments to Los Angeles alt-rock station 98.7 .

"I thought it was really clever to transpose the song to two guys," the artist said. "It was a great idea."

So why did he refer to the version as dinky?

"This xylophone hook in my song - it's kind of dinky not just in the cover version but the original song," he said, being critical of himself and adding that his original words were turned into "the Glee cover I hated and Darren Criss is an asshole."

The track, of course, is everywhere in pop culture these days. Over the past few weeks, contestants on American Idol and a contestant on The Voice have covered "Somebody That I Used to Know."

What did you think of the Glee rendition?

Bill O'Reilly believes Glee is a "good show" that typically sends a "positive message." He made both those points clear prior to a recent segment on his Fox News program.

But the conservative host takes major issue with a recent episode, which introduced Alex Newell as a transgender student who dressed as a female during his choir's performance.

O'Reilly said the storyline was an example of the program's "recurring theme that alternative lifestyles may be a big positive."

Angry Bill O'Reilly

“If you make the behavior of these people... if children hear it, unsupervised children, okay who don't have parents watching their - they might go out and experiment with this stuff," O'Reilly wailed, while guest Gretchen Carlson agreed.

"Here we go again, pandering to .3% of the American population that considers themselves transgender," Carlson said. "Now I get to explain this to my 8-year-old, if i want her to see a nice family show with some nice music."

Judge Jeanine Pirro tried to chime in as a voice of reason and asked the host: "Do you really think that this is the kind of thing that's contagious?" to which he admitted not being sure, but added that seeing James Dean smoke as a teenager did encourage him to do the same.
