George Clooney is the world's most eligible bachelor.

Of course, Elisabetta Canalis is doing all she can to change that, as the Italian, large-breasted model has been dating the actor since July.

He seems happy with her, which is a change from some of Clooney's past romances. He admitted as much to Great Britain's The Daily Mirror last week:

"I’ve had some absolutely great relationships and some not so great relationships. I’ve been in some relationships where I’ve felt terribly alone. Just because you’re with someone it doesn’t mean you’re incredibly happy and complete."

Clooney meant no offense, of course, to exes Renee Zellweger, Kelly Preston, DeDee Pfeiffer, Kimberly Russell, Brooke Langton, Taylor Howard, Krista Allen, Jennifer Siebel, Lisa Snowdon and Sarah Larson.

Unlike certain other celebrities (cough... cough... Jennifer Aniston...), Clooney doesn't think his love life is anything unique.

“I’ve had some easy and natural, made-sense breakups as well as some rough ones... I don’t think my experiences are any different than anybody else’s, they’ve just been amplified a little more.”

What a refreshing outlook on life as a celebrity. Clooney doesn't pretend to be any more insightful or important than anyone out there when it comes to dating.

He may be the most perfect human being on the planet.

By the time you finish reading this short article, George Clooney may have found a new girlfriend.

For now, however, he's dating actress Elisabetta Canalis; and, according to a close, famous pal, the couple is great together.

"She is a really, really wonderful woman," Matt Damon told People this week. "It's nice to see my friend so happy."

We've been hearing the rumors.

Beginning in late July, people began speculating that George Clooney was seeing Elisabetta Canalis nude. This was pretty much established as (lucky) fact.

Well, now he's gone public with his new flame, putting any doubts to rest.

Well, going public is a stretch. They keep a low profile, but aren't hiding.

The day before the premiere of his movie, Men Who Stare at Goats, the couple made an arrival at the Venice Film Festival in the famed European city.

Italian papers gushed over the pair they're calling "the next Brangelina."

That's a tad premature, as there's no good nickname potential (Canalooney? Gebetta?) and they haven't created many kids and become the subject of constant cheating rumors, but it's an apt comparison in terms of beauty.

In any case, Clooney and the woman better known to local media as "La Canalis" or simply "Eli" have been inseparable the past three weeks.

Clooney was introduced to his new love interest in Rome, but apparently "carried a torch for Eli" even while still dating now-ex Sarah Larson.

Larson became the first girlfriend to accompany the perpetual bachelor and ladies' man to the Oscars. Will Elisabetta Canalis be the next?!

According to a reliable source - private chef Michele Gargani - Elisabetta Canalis isn't exactly dating George Clooney by accident; the Italian model has had her sights set on the movie star since 2007, when she first saw him in person.

“Elisabetta was with a group of friends, and they were all speaking Italian,” Gargani told In Touch Weekly. “She went on and on about how she loved being in Hollywood, but that her dream was to meet and date George Clooney.”

For many men out there, the dream is to see Elisabetta Canalis nude. This can be accomplished by renting the 2007 movie Virgin Territory. She portrays a topless nun in it.

For now, at least, the serial dater has snagged Italian beauty Elisabetta Canalis as his new gal pal.

The pair met in Italy, where resides for most of the year in a villa on Lake Como.

Canalis is a 30-year old actress that has played small roles in blockbuster comedies such as Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo and Virgin Territory. She also hosts the Italian version of Total Request Live.

Radar Online first reported the hook-up, and has provided a grainy photo of the new couple.

The aspiring model just started dating the actor last month, but is "totally smitten with George," a friend told tabloid The Globe. “They’ve started out casual, but things are moving fast and she’s told friends they’re planning to spend a large part of the summer together."

Beneath this gruff exterior, George Clooney knows how to please a woman.

Wolvert is also telling pals that she might move in with Clooney. It would be hard to blame her. After all:

“Besides being an amazing lover, Lucy says George is a true gentleman who really knows how to treat a lady," the source said. “Everyone’s just hoping it lasts and she doesn’t get her heart broken.”

A year after Clooney split from Sarah Larson, the star has reportedly hooked up with Miami-based waitress Lucy Wolvert, an aspiring model. Sources say the couple has been dating in secret for weeks, but Wolvert can no longer keep the relationship to herself.

"Her crush may have gotten the best of her. George asked Lucy to be discreet, but she's told friends and they've started talking," an insider told Us Weekly.

George Clooney might be sleeping with Paris Hilton.

Figured we'd put that out there right away and let readers digest the revolting news.

According to Life & Style, the random pair dined at Hollywood restaurant Dan Tana's on December 20. They were joined for dinner by a group that included director Ridley Scott, Marvel Studios chairman David Maisel and Hilton's pretend BFF, Brittany Flickinger.

"It was an odd group for a dinner party," said a witness, making the understatement of the year.

The tabloid also reports that the night before this gathering, Clooney and Hilton enjoyed a more intimate tryst at the Whiskey Bar at the Sunset Marquis hotel in West Hollywood.
