A judge has ruled that a Texas lesbian couple can't cohabitate, or live together, because of a morality clause in one of the women's divorce papers.

Such a clause is common in divorce cases in Texas and other states.

Justice

It is designed as an actual legal means of preventing a divorced parent from having a romantic partner spend the night while children are in the home.

If a couple marries, they can get out from under the legal provision, but that's not an option for gay couples in Texas, where gay marriage is not legal.

In the divorce of Carolyn and Joshua Compton, Collin County District Judge John Roach Jr. enforced the terms detailed in their 2011 divorce papers.

The Lonely Island has taken to Between Two Ferns for the release of their music video for "Spring Break Anthem."

The video highlights how freakin' awesome it is to go get hammered with your bros at Spring Break... and also how amazing it feels to be in a loving, lifelong relationship.

Of course, TLI brings BTF into the mix by having the program's host, Zach Galifianakis, interview James Franco, star of Spring Breakers.

But then we get to see some amazing iterations of what gay marriage would like like between the bunch, with Edward Norton even thrown into the mix.

I think they all make very handsome couples.

R.I. Bill

A final 56-15 vote in the Rhode Island House made it all but official, and Gov. Lincoln Chafee signed the bill into law on the Statehouse steps.

Ten U.S. states - Maryland, Washington, Iowa, New York and all six New England states - now allow gay and lesbian couples to marry legally.

California would become the 11th if Prop 8 is ruled unconstitutional. Lower courts have done so, but the case is now with the U.S. Supreme Court.

Legions of police officers and water cannons stood ready near France's National Assembly ahead of the final vote, bracing for any possible violence.

The measure passed easily in the Socialist-majority Assembly, 331-225, but nevertheless galvanized the country's conservative political faction.

In recent weeks, violent attacks against gay couples have spiked and some legislators even received threats, while protesters stepped up demonstrations.
