Nearly one year ago, former Malcolm in the Middle star and current musician Frankie Muniz announced to his Twitter followers he had a mini-stroke.
Monday, he says he suffered a second such incident.
Muniz's stroke came almost exactly a year after the first.
After his previous health scare, Muniz, 27, told GMA that he knew something was really wrong when he lost vision in one eye while riding his motorcycle.
"I couldn't say words. I thought I was saying them! My fiance looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language," he said, calling himself "happy to be alive."
A mini-stroke, or transient ischemic attack, is when no blood flows to the brain for a brief period, but does not cause brain tissue death like a regular stroke.
Symptoms of a mini-stroke may last for up to a day, though they often just last for a couple of hours. Here's wishing Frankie and full and speedy recovery.
