The manager of a McDonald's in Australia got creative when it came to shooing away disruptive teenagers that plagued his restaurant late at night.

According to Fox & Friends, he didn't ask anyone to leave or change any store policy, but merely started blasting opera and classical music. LOUD.

So far, he says, the musical strategy seems to be working well!

Locals in the area said on social media that it’s an awesome idea as a non-confrontational means of keeping the location free of late night shenanigans.

However, local resident Janeen Brady complained about the music, saying it woke her up at 1 a.m. and fearing it’ll only get worse over the holidays.

Christmas music thrown into the mix would be a festive twist ...

An apple a day doesn't merely keep the doctor away.

An apple recipe a day keeps your craving for delicious meals away... as long as they are the right recipes, that is.

And that's where our friends at Food Fanatic come in. They've once again been slaving away in the kitchen, coming up with the following snacks, breakfast items and more. Let's start with two apple-based delights...

Mmmmm. Nothing like a nice, refreshing mouthful of dirt to quench your thirst, right? Tastes so good when it hits your lips!

Except no, it doesn't. And that's exactly why the imagery used in this shocking Oxfam video spurred 225,000 signatures on an anti-land grab petition against Coca-Cola and Pepsi.

See for yourself now.

Both soft drink giants have been accused of land grabs.

That is the practice of forcing responsible farmers off their lands so the corporations can irresponsibly grow the sugar used to manufacture their products.

After seeing the signatures on the Oxfam petition, Coca-Cola has committed to taking action, and responsibility for controlling their vast supply chain.

Here's hoping Pepsi will follow suit and do the same.

In some of the strangest parenting news we'll hear all day, a New York City father was deemed inept for refusing to give in to his 5-year-old's demands for McDonald's.

The child threw a tantrum and the dad delivered an ultimatum: Choose another, healthier place to eat or don't eat at all. You can guess what the 5-year old chose, can't you.

What is it with parents these days wanting to feed their kids less junky food? Sheesh! Just give in to the siren song of the Happy Meal, Dad!

David E. Schorr put his foot down on October 30th and refused to take his son to McDonald's "because his son had been eating too much junk food."

Schorr, after being labeled "inept," calls himself "not a very strict father who rarely refuses his child McDonald's." And the one time he sticks to his guns this happens.

A Georgina couple having sex in a Waffle House parking lot was arrested last Sunday morning, according to local police, and that isn't even the best part.

Loganville, Ga., authorities said after they got busted, the woman was so drunk that she tried to put a cheeseburger on her foot as if it were a sandal.

Waffle House Sex Couple

"I guess that would speak to her level of intoxication," Assistant Chief of Police Dick Lowry said, noting that the sandal/burger mixup was a first for him.

One would assume, though you never know at Waffle House.

In any case, Rachel Gossett and Frank Lucas were cited in the November 3 incident for loitering and public drunkenness. And this was some real drunkenness.

Gretchen Holt-Witt of Califon, N.J., was relieved when son Liam's neuroblastoma, a form of nerve cancer, was in remission after treatment in 2007.

"We were so grateful his cancer was gone, we felt it was important to give back," says Holt-Witt, who held a bake sale for pediatric cancer research.

But a few dozen wouldn't do. They opted for 8,000 dozen.

  • Cookie Book
  • Cookie Sale

"We wanted to push our boundaries the way Liam's had been," says Holt-Witt, who along with her family and 250 friends, baked 96,000 cookies.

They raised $400,000 as a result.

Holt-Witt founded the non-profit organization Cookies For Kids' Cancer. People all around the country hold bake sales in the name of the organization.

Take note, idiots who dressed as the burning Twin Towers: THIS is how you celebrate Halloween!

Texas couple David and Natalie Sideserf exchanged vows late last month and then took the "Till death do us part" aspect to a new, awesomely creepy level via our favorite wedding cake of 2013.

It depicts a pair of bloody, severed heads and it was made by Natalie herself, who owns Austin bakery Sideserf Cake Studio.

"It was perfect for us," Natalie said. "Halloween [was] coming, my husband loves horror movies ... and I like sculpting humans."

One would think this goes without saying, but people never cease to amaze these days. If you're a middle school football coach planning your team banquet?

Hooters may not be the most appropriate location. Maybe.

Randy Burbach of Corbett Middle School in Oregon thought it was perfectly fine apparently, and got fired - after he refused to change venues, no less!

The chain of events is pretty fascinating. Let's break it down:

1. Burbach planned the Hooters banquet. 2. The school got wind of this. 3. The school said hey, maybe you should move the event? 4. He did not oblige.

Oh, but it continues: 5. He got fired. 6. The event is still on!
