Updating one of our most random (but admittedly favorite) stories, Randy and Evi Quaid have posted bond, meaning there is no longer an outstanding warrant for their arrest on charges of defrauding a California B&B of $10,000.

"If they don't show up to court, a bounty hunter will go and get them," Deputy D.A. Lee Carter of the Santa Barbara District Attorney's Office said earlier this week.

The bounty hunters have been called off, though. Unfortunately.

The couple posted bail of $20,000 apiece after being arrested in Marfa, Texas, where they rise, but had to pay the same in California, site of their alleged fraud.

Randy and Evi Quaid have skipped four different opportunities to appear in court since allegations that they bailed on their room bill first surfaced in September.

As a result, authorities were forced to begin extradition proceedings after the Quaids failed to show up. The actor and his wife will be arraigned December 15.

They will be formally charged with misdemeanor charges of burglary, conspiracy and the ever-quaint defrauding of an innkeeper. Amazingly, that's not even all.

Evi Quaid, who flipped the f*%k out on the cops who tried to arrest her, was also accused of vandalism by a Texas neighbor in an unrelated, bizarre incident.

Somehow we can't imagine these two have a lot of friends.

Marfa, Texas, meet Santa Barbara, California.

These two locales have had it with Evi and Randy Quaid. The West Texas city of 2,100, once found its residents the Quaids eccentric. Now it just wants 'em out.

The latest incident occurred Friday when a Marfa resident discovered that his satellite dish had been ripped off his building, which had also been spray painted.

"He called the Sheriff and reported that the damage had been done by Evi Quaid," a Marfa source said. "The man is their neighbor and they used to get along."

"Evi Quaid kept accusing him of his satellite dish infringing on her property. He didn't see her rip it down but it is his belief she did and that's what he reported."

Two deputies responded to the call and went to a neighboring building, owned by the Quaids. No one was home at the time but an investigation continues.

The Quaids live above commercial space in their building in downtown Marfa. Evi is turning the ground floor into a museum honoring her husband. Really.

Evi and Randy are leaving a trail of bizarre antics in their wake. Photos of Evi Quaid nude were even sent to a local newspaper editor! Again, yes, really.

Randy and Evi are accused of defrauding a California inn of $10,000 and may face extradition. When accosted by police in Marfa, Evi flipped the f%*k out.

Randy Quaid and wife Evi were arrested last week for skipping out on their bill for a stay at a hotel in Santa Barbara.

Considering Quaid is a successful actor with a seemingly healthy bank account, that's strange - but it's not the strangest aspect of this story.

According to Radar Online, private investigator Becky Altringer says Evi Quaid has a connection to Conrad Murray; yes, the same Conrad Murray suspected of playing a major role in the death of Michael Jackson.

Altringer claims Mrs. Quaid also used the shady doctor to fill numerous drug prescriptions, including one for Demerol, which she allegedly snorts on a regular basis.

“Evi told me she got her Demerol from Dr. Murray and plus another doctor,” Altringer told the website. “She told me that she and Michael Jackson had the same doctors.”

Through the course of her investigation, Altringer reportedly found other pills prescribed to Evi and believes the drugs have led to the woman's erratic behavior; the latest example of which just took place on Friday.

“Evi told me she believed Michael Jackson had been murdered, along with David Carradine, Heath Ledger, Chris Penn and Natasha Richardson,” Altringer said. “She thought everyone was out to get her, and blamed everything on 'the Mob.’”

The private eye also alleges that Evi Quaid often beat on her husband, forcing him into a life of alcoholism.

If true, this would place his role in Christmas Vacation in an entirely new light.

Randy Quaid's wife Evi Quaid, may be a little unstable. She thinks the officers who arrested her and her husband in Marfa, Tx., yesterday are corrupt.

Does this allegation have any merit? We don't know, but wouldn't bet on it, since the loose cannon apparently went "psychotic" at the police station.

Deputy James Davis of Presidio County Sheriff's Office says Evi showed up at the station today - she was released on bail yesterday - accusing him of being "a crooked, corrupt cop" concocting "a plot against her and her husband."

Davis described it as a "psychotic episode" and says that Quaid threw a handwritten statement at him, accusing him of setting herself and Randy up.

The officer says Evi Quaid then went to a nearby courthouse and as she was leaving, proceeding to back into a motorcycle that was parallel parked.

A police report was taken. No word if charges will be filed.

Evi Quaid was far from finished at that point. She hand-painted a big, fat sign (really) again accusing the officer of being a dirty, bribe-taking cop.

She painted the sign on the side of a truck she personally drove and parked outside of Mayor Dan Dunlap's office in Marfa this afternoon. The sign reads, "Deputy James Davis takes payments ... call & make offers."

Davis says he won't remove it ... yet" "She's entitled to freedom of speech. At some point it becomes libel. I'll consider legal action if it continues."

Best of all, Randy and Evi Quaid still haven't paid the bill for which they're being prosecuted. They're accused of stiffing a nice B&B in California.

The $5,546.96 the Quaids sent the San Ysidro Ranch to settle the bill - after their mug shots were taken - isn't the full payment and not by a lot.

The Quaids still owe another $5,000. Evi even called the Ranch and said she would only pay the balance if they promised not to press charges.

This nut job also alleged a Nazi conspiracy and kicked the crap out of a senior citizen the last time someone crossed her. Time to get a shrink, Evi.

She can always turn to Britney Spears to feel sane by comparison, but Evi Quaid, who is married to Randy Quaid, is pretty frickin' crazy!

According to TMZ, Evi Quaid caused a scene (we mean she went crazy) recently at the offices of the Actor's Equity Association, which had some sort of problem with Randy Quaid - 23 members filed charges against the actor in connection with the rehearsal and production of "Lone Star Love" in Seattle.

Well, here's where it gets good. And by good we mean bad.

Evi and Randy Quaid apparently burst into the offices last week, where Evi Quaid started screaming at the (76-year-old) receptionist. She also kicked her repeatedly in the shins with her high-heeled boots - drawing blood.

Evi told several staff members to "f*%k off" and claimed they were part of some Nazi plot to take down Randy Quaid. According to another staffer, Evi screamed:

"I'm going to get you... You are a Nazi bitch."

Evi Quaid, the wife of Randy Quaid, is pretty... insane.

One witness also claims Evi Quaid bitched her out on the phone and when she told her "the call would be terminated" Evi replied simply that she'd "like to terminate your existence on this planet." Well, at least it was well-worded.

Four requests for restraining orders were filed against Evi Quaid.

The documents also say that on January 23, both Randy and Evi Quaid showed up to the Association's office in L.A., allegedly causing quite a scene.

One member says, "I asked for assistance as I felt threatened and I feared both Mr. and Ms. Quaid could physically attack me."
