Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria reportedly dumped NBA star Tony Parker after learning he was getting close to an ex-girlfriend, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Longoria's representative did not comment on the rumored flirtatiousness, but confirmed on Friday that the couple is going through a difficult time.

According to the New York Post, the San Antonio Spurs guard was seen dirty dancing and cuddling with a blonde at the New York City club Marquee last week.

Parker was attending an after-party for the premiere of the film The Departed and started getting cozy with the woman in full view of celebs such as Leonard DiCaprio, Mick Jagger and Bono.

"Eva was devastated when she found out. The blonde was an ex-girlfriend of Tony's, and they apparently swapped numbers, but he swears nothing else happened," a source close to Longoria said. "Eva and Tony are talking right now, trying to work things out."

Now we weren't at the club or anything (sorry), but could it be that Parker was in a tough spot he couldn't get out of?

You know how it goes. He plays in the NBA. Women throw themselves at NBA players. It's gonna happen. Just saying.

T.H. Gossip won't condone the actions of Parker (after all, who lets Eva Longoria out of their sight for even a second). All we're trying to say is that it's not like he's fathered six bastard children with five different women. Or banged Karrine Steffans. Or failed to pay child support.

Okay, we admit it: We weren't exactly shocked that Harry Morton and Lindsay Lohan broke up. Nor did we care.

But this news is a little surprising and sad: Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker have split up.

"They did break up. It's amicable," a source told People magazine. "They are talking and trying to figure the best course of action for their future. They are trying to work things out."

So, what led to such an end? Was Karrine Steffans involved in yet another sordid relationship demise? No, not at all.

"It's distance and demanding careers and not living in same city," said the source. "It didn't happen yesterday. It's been going on for a while."

That's too bad. And a little shocking because Longoria recently went on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and seemed to get along perfectly well with a cardboard cut-out of her man. Check out this Eva Longoria picture and see for yourself.

In an earlier statement issued by Longoria's rep, Liza Anderson, on Friday, she said: "Eva and Tony are going through a very difficult time right now, just like any other couple with extremely demanding careers."

While Desperate Housewives has been filming in Los Angeles, the San Antonio Spurs departed Texas on Friday afternoon to begin a training camp in France.

So, now that she's actually available, we bet Eva could earn even more money than Jessica Biel could for an auctioned off date. Interesting.

There's a lot of sex on Wisteria Lane. As the baby inside the tummy of Marcia Cross can attest to, there's also many romps in the sack for the Desperate Housewives themselves in real life.

But creator Marc Cherry has had enough!

Eva Longoria recently made an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," and explained the situation. Here's the actual exchange:

Ellen: You're going to postpone if you want to get married [to San Antonio Spurs star, Tony Parker] and start a family like in a couple of years? You can't do that while you're working?

Eva: Well, no you can - it's just difficult because our work schedule is so crazy and you know Marcia Cross is pregnant and so Marc Cherry came on the set and he was "like no more pregnancies this year ... they're really hard to write in."

Ellen: So you can't do it yet. How many kids do you want?

Eva: As many as God will give.

God? Or Madonna? The Material Girl did just say she's doing exactly what Jesus would do if He were alive. So talk to Mads, Eva.

The lovely Eva Longoria was swept off her feet by beau Tony Parker when he surprised her Monday on the L.A. set of her new film. Longoria is filming How I Met My Boyfriend's Dead Fiancée. With a title like that, how can it not be a winner!

The Desperate Housewives star has been moonlighting in the comedy as a ghost meddling in her living boyfriend's new relationship. Parker, of the NBA's San Antonio Spurs, plays basketball for a living. And dates Eva Longoria. What a lucky individual.

We're not talking about how much these actresses cost you during a night out. After all, any man in his right mind would spend on these ladies until cows (aka Britney Spears pictures) came home.

We mean, literally, how much you'd pay just to go out with Eva Longoria or Jessica Biel.

According to a pair of recent auctions, the star of Desperate Housewives is worth A LOT more than the former Seventh Heaven offspring.

Earlier this summer, a man paid $30,000 to take Biel out for an evening. The event raised money for for a Colorado girl who had been hit by a car.

Longoria just had to show Jessica up, however. The president of fashion house, Bebe, ponied up a cool $100,00 for a dare with Tony Parker's more beautiful. It was all in the name of charity, of course, as the auction took place as part as part of a gala held to benefit the PADRES Contra El Cancer, which aids Latino children with cancer.

"Hey, I'm a fun date!" Longoria laughed happily when the final amount was announced.

As fun as Kirsten Dunst?

Eva Longoria is done with television.

After Desperate Housewives ends, that is.

The 31-year-old actress said she loves the medium of TV and the routine it provides, but the show will be her last TV series.

"I would never leave Desperate Housewives. I love doing both [TV and film], but I would never do another TV show after Desperate Housewives. No."

Longoria, who plays the adulterous, saucy, yet charming Gabrielle Solis, can next be seen on the big screen in How I Met My Boyfriend's Dead Fiancée, which comes out in 2007. The actress, who continues to be beautiful and together with Tony Parker, made her mainstream movie debut opposite Michael Douglas in The Sentinel earlier this year.

For now, though, we still can look forward to seeing Eva on the tube. Or dancing her buns off for a good cause. At least she picked a good character to stick with. The third season of Desperate Housewives begins on Sunday, September 24.

Now that Matthew McConaughey appears to have moved on, it's time for Lance Armstrong to do the same.

No, no, we're just spreading rumors. That's our job. In reality, Eva Longoria is seen her dancing with Lance in honor of a charity event they both attended in California.

The Padres Contra El Cancer annual gala was actually held on the set of Desperate Housewives.

But, Eva Longoria, come on now. While it's admirable that the Desperate Housewives star wants to focus on a family in the near future, it's unlikely she'll need to make the following choice:

"I'd much rather have a family than win an Oscar."

Maybe you should at least begin with an Emmy, Eva. It is nice, though, that you plan to start a family as soon as your ABC hit comes to an end.

The show's third series is due to start this autumn, while Longoira is about to start filming her latest film, How I Met My Boyfriend's Dead Fiancee. She loves her career, but since falling in love with basketball player Tony Parker, has changed her mind about spending her life in Hollywood.

She told the London Mirror: "My priorities are different. The most important thing to me is not work - it's to have a family. I want to be a mother. I want to get married. I want to raise kids."

Longoria says she'll go back to Texas and have a nice, big family once the opportunity presents itself; presumably, one she'll allow the public to see.

Move over, Angelina Jolie. People may wish to kiss you - all over! - but a recent poll conducted by the British magazine, Eve, ranks a former Sex and the City star above you as the most beautiful woman in the world.

That's right, after spending years searching for her prince, Charlotte (aka Kristin Davis) could have her pick of the globe right now. She ranked first in the aforementioned survey, ahead of such jaw-droppers as Jolie, Halle Berry and Charlize Theron!

Now that introductions are over with, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban (aka, "Kurban") can carry on with their honeymoon, while Tony Parker and Eva Longoria can carry on with being young and beautiful.

Longoria and the San Antonio Spurs star, Parker, accidently crashed Kurban's honeymoon in Bora Bora this week. Just minutes after the newlyweds landed, the flight of this hot couple also touched down in the city.

The couples are staying just steps away from one another in a pair of waterside villas along the boardwalk at the St. Regis resort. As a result, staff members on jet skis are regularly patrolling the perimeter of the resort as a security measure.

Rumors are also swirling that Parker may be popping a certain question to Longoria during this soiree. Perhaps the sight of a content Kurban will inspire the basketball star to drain the biggest jump shot of his life. Figuratively speaking.
