Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson are planning a wedding ALREADY, according to Life & Style. They've been engaged since November 2010, but whatever!

Jessica welcomed baby Maxwell just a few weeks ago, but the designer, singer and actress has yet to slow down, given her $4 million Weight Watchers deal.

Now she's busy planning a wedding, too!

An insider reveals to the new issue of Life & Style that Jessica and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, have set a new wedding date: Dec. 12, 2012. Yep, 12/12/12.

The couple, who got engaged a year and a half ago, reportedly had been planning to wed in Hawaii on November 11 (11/11/11), until she got pregnant.

"Jessica and Eric are still eyeing the same Hawaiian island of Kauai for the reception for around 60 family and friends," the insider reveals of their plan.

She's hired celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss, who planned Jessica's Charlotte's Web-themed baby shower, as well as her 2002 wedding to Nick Lachey.

Sounds magical. And original.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson welcomed their daughter Maxwell Drew on Tuesday morning, and the new dad is doing all he can to take care of mom.

"Eric is amazing. He is involved with every single thing, and Maxwell adores him," a source close to Jessica says. "Whenever she cries, he picks her up and holds her in his arms, and [Maxwell] immediately stops crying."

"It's just the cutest thing."

In March, Simpson predicted that her fiancé would be an "unbelievable" father because he's patient and a born leader ... whatever that means.

In any case, she was totally right!

"He is the best dad already," the source continues. "He is also super attentive and taking amazing care of Jessica throughout. It's incredible."

All very good to hear.

Jessica Simpson finally gave birth to her baby girl today.

Maxwell Drew Johnson, weighing 9 lbs., 13 oz. (!) was born this morning in L.A. It's the first child for the star and her fiance, former NFL player Eric Johnson.

Little Maxwell is named for Eric's middle name, and will go by Maxi. Her middle name is a tribute to her grandma, Tina Simpson, whose maiden name is Drew.

After six months of dating, Simpson, 31, and Johnson, 32, got engaged in November 2010, then allegedly pushed off their wedding when she got pregnant.

The Texas native, now 31, was famously and previously married to Nick Lachey from 2002 until their separation in 2005, but the couple had no children.

She first shared her own happy pregnancy news with the world on Halloween, and the deluge of TMI Jessica Simpson quotes has continued unabated since.

As her due date approached, the uninhibited singer has spoken candidly about all things pregnancy, from cravings to sex to mommy brain and even swamp ass.

"I feel like I have a bowling ball sitting on my hoohah," she said. "Apparently I have a lot of amniotic fluid, so when my water breaks, it will be like a fire hydrant!"

Jessica Simpson will find out the gender of her baby on Monday, but the singer took a guess last night at the launch of her sister's clothing line in New York City.

"I think it' a girl," the pregnant star told People, while fiance Eric Johnson chimed in with: "I think it's a boy."

One of them will probably be correct.

Why is Jessica - seen above getting some practice in with nephew Bronx - even learning her first child's sex ahead of time?

"I like to plan things out," Simpson told Us Weekly at the same event. "It'll be good to know what colors to make the nursery. I'm obsessed with thinking about what it's going to look like."

We're just glad there are no signs here of a pregnancy in crisis, as a recent report claimed. Quite the opposite, in fact, as Simpson gushed last night over "knowing that [Eric] and I created something inside of me... We love each other so much, and knowing that I love this baby inside of me is so amazing."

Is Jessica Simpson in for more heartbreak and humiliation?

The 31-year-old pregnant, engaged celebrity should be basking in the glow of impending motherhood these days ... but is there already trouble on the horizon?

According to OK! (yeah, we know, we know), fiance Eric Johnson, who previously agreed to a prenuptial agreement, is now backing out and insisting on an equal share in her fortune, putting the couple's wedding plans on hold.

“Eric’s completely changed his mind,” an insider says. “He started dragging his feet, refusing to sign the prenup they’d drawn up; now he’s laying this whole guilt-trip on her about how he believes in true love and she should, too."

"A lot of people feel she’s been totally betrayed.”

Delaying the wedding while the down-home traditional Jessica Simpson is pregnant, the insider adds, seems especially callous given her Christian roots.

“Eric knows how important it was to her to be married before the baby,” says the source. “She wanted to rush the wedding so that her child wouldn’t be born out of wedlock, and she wouldn’t walk down the aisle with a massive bump."

"He’s basically used that as a bargaining chip.”

That's cold, Eric Johnson. Shrewd, but cold.

This has been quite the whirlwind year for Jessica Simpson.

The former signer/actress became engaged to former NFL tight end Eric Johnson last November, and recently confirmed she is pregnant after weeks of speculation.

"They're really excited," a source tells People of the pregnancy. "It wasn't something they planned per se, but it's also not something they were trying to avoid."

Still, it did cause the couple to put their wedding on hold.

"They're both still really committed to getting married, and were both really into making decisions about what kind of wedding they wanted," says the source.

The nuptials were originally set for this month, but when Jess got pregnant, they decided to put it off and will likely marry next year after the baby's birth.

The source insists that yes, they will marry, and soon: "It's just going to be at a later date now [because] they really want to enjoy this time in their lives."

"They're both very family-oriented and having a baby is something they both wanted," the source says, adding that they both believe, "It's wonderful!"

Jessica has yet to reveal the sex of the baby or which celebrity news magazine she prefers for the inevitable introductory photo spread for her spawn.

Jessica Simpson is pregnant, according to In Touch!

Eric Johnson totes probably knocked her up! Jessica recently attended Eric's 32nd birthday party, where she sent back her glass of champagne for a birthday toast.

Turns out they had something even bigger to celebrate. A source close to the 31-year-old singer and her fiance says they are expecting their first child.

Jess has sorta looked pregnant for a while. Now she actually is!

"She's already having kooky cravings!" a friend shares, especially nacho chips dipped in chocolate, "which satisfy her urge for salty and sweet." Nice.

Despite the fact that there's one more "guest" (and that "Jessica might have to take out her dress a bit"), their plans to marry haven't changed ... although they reportedly put the wedding on hold "indefinitely." Wonder why.

While not everyone would consider the timing ideal, the pair considers the baby to be "the best wedding gift ever." Jess is reportedly due in the spring.

Congrats again if it's true, which seems fairly likely!

UPDATE: Nearly a month later, Jessica has neither confirmed nor denied the story, but is looking increasingly pregnant in various photos taken of her.

The latest rumor is that she's holding out to make the big announcement on a celeb news tabloid cover soon, if the price is right. So ... there's that.

Are Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson on the rocks? That's quite unclear, but the couple's wedding is on hold, at least for now, according to a new report.

Details of the ceremony, wedding dress she helped design and vows reportedly started to overwhelm her, causing friends to wonder if she got cold feet.

“It’s starting to affect her relationship with Eric,” says an insider.

“He’s a great guy who really loves her, but right now Jessica’s friends are worried that she may end up single again if she’s not able to make up her mind.”

“The wedding isn’t off,” insists one of her confidantes, who predicts they will still get married. “It’s just on hold while Jessica sorts out some of the details.”

Jessica insists she still loves the former NFL player. Eric surprised her by popping the question last November, after the couple dated for just six months.

Don't get us wrong. Eric Johnson, who will wed the singer/designer this year, worked out a prenup that guarantees him some cash, and he gets to put it to Jessica Simpson in the meantime, so he's living well. Just not THAT well.

According to sources, Jessica's billion dollar brand is being closely guarded, and Eric's compensation if they ever split up will work out as such:

BIG WINNER: Eric has some serious assets now. Look at those.

"Eric is on what you might call a vesting plan," said an insider.

"He'll get $500,000 as a wedding present. Then, each anniversary, he'll get another $200,000. If he and Jessica make it to five years, he'll get an additional incentive $500,000 bonus - and a $1 million bonus if they make it to 10 years."

On second thought, he's doing DAMN well. Of course, if he's gonna be married to her 10 years, he'll probably stay married to her, so it's moot.

You have to wonder, though, what Jessica is really protecting here. Is she guarding her own fortune, or essentially paying him to stay married?

Jessica Simpson is not exactly one to shy away from attention. This is a woman who Tweets her prayers, after all.

But the washed-up singer tells Us Weekly she's in no rush to marry Eric Johnson and might even elope with her former football-playing fiance.

"We've both been married before. We're enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time," Jessica said, adding: "I will be part of designing my own wedding gown. We might elope if it gets to that point."

Call us crazy, but we foresee tabloids competing over Jessica Simpson wedding photos long before we envision this couple actually ducking away from the media to tie the knot.

Still, Simpson insists she and Johnson are laid back individuals who spent more nights at home.

"We're very relaxed," she says. "It takes a lot to get us stressed out. We talk through everything. You'll see him off in the corner, and what's Eric doing? He's just meditating."
