Academy Award winners Tom Hanks, George Clooney and Al Pacino are not names we normally associate with the small screen, but all were at the Emmys last night.

Recognized for their performances, producing efforts and general awesomeness, these big screen legends each dressed to impress ... but who looked the best?

The Emmy Awards went very well for Kim Kardashian and Nina Dobrev.

Neither took home a trophy, but both were involved in a couple of the top moments from the ceremony, as Kim sang and Nina danced.

But the similarities between True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard and Dr. Jack Kevorkian don't end there: both also walked the red carpet at the Emmy Awards last night, as the actor presented on stage and the latter was on hand because Al Pacino played him in an HBO movie this year.

Who looked hotter at the Emmys?

Lauren Bosworth and Stephanie Pratt were two of the last stars standing on The Hills. Now, here are photos of them standing on the red carpet at the Emmys!

With Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port departing, and Speidi kicked off for unknown reasons, the MTV show had no choice but to feature Lo and Steph last season.

This may explain why it was the show's final season. Still, the two youngsters looked pretty fab last night, no? Who do you think was better dressed? Vote!

Mel Gibson... come on. I'm not going to have a go at him; he's been through a lot. Not as much as the Jews.

With that, Ricky Gervais delivered the line of the night at the Emmy Awards (a close runner-up: Jane Lynch accepting her trophy and thanking her "Lord and creator... Ryan Murphy), which also featured Jon Hamm backing his ass up and Kim Kardashian proving she can sing almost as well as she can moan on video.
