It's nearly impossible to cheat in Hollywood without SOMEONE leaking the story to a tabloid. That's good for business. Bad for celebrities caught with their pants down.

(NOTE: If you don't want to get caught, maybe don't do it...)

Some of Hollywood's hottest couples coughBRANGELINAcough came to be through infidelity. When the two co-starred in Mr & Mrs. Smith, Brad Pitt was famously married to Jennifer Aniston.

Now he's infamously partnered with Angelina Jolie and their six (!) children. We estimate the two have been planning a wedding for nearly a decade now.

The good news? Angelina Jolie is far from alone in her homewrecking ways. She's actually in quite popular (and even royal) company!

Take a look at 17 celebrity wives who were mistresses first:

Lindsay Lohan is ready to sign on to play Elizabeth Taylor, according to reports.

It looks like she's nearing a deal to make it official, as she's also working to complete her community service faster than required to clear the way for filming.

At Lohan's probation progress hearing, she is expected to receive glowing reports as a model morgue employee. If that goes as planned, she should be good.

The plan is to sign the deal early next week, barring unforeseen setbacks.

The Lifetime film will focus on Taylor's tumultuous relationship with two-time husband Richard Burton, and producers were reportedly keen on Lohan - like Taylor, a star at an extremely young age and often maligned - to star as the icon.

This is just one of many projects LiLo is reportedly considering.

We made fun of the notion that Lindsay Lohan Playboy photos could revive her career, but she made nearly a million bucks, and is actually getting more offers than she's received in years due to her popularity - and growing maturity.

Consider THG humbled.

Lindsay Lohan is in "early talks" to play Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime movie "Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story," according to Entertainment Weekly.

Who better to play the a glamorous Hollywood icon than a train wreck frequent jailbird Playboy model who hasn't had a notable acting role in years!

The film will focus on Taylor's tumultuous relationship with two-time husband Richard Burton. So how on Earth did they think of Lohan for the part?

Like Lohan, Taylor began her career at a young age, growing up in the spotlight. Some say she made plenty of missteps along her road to icon status.

Lohan also posed for Marilyn Monroe-inspired Playboy photos which allegedly racked up record sales for the mag, resurrecting her career somewhat.

Maybe a Liz T. photo spread is next? Eh, maybe not.

At the time of her passing, Elizabeth Taylor may have possessed the most elegant jewelry collection on the planet.

So, what will happen to a set that's been valued at over $150 million? Sources tell People it will likely go to auction at Christie's in New York.

Liz Taylor

“She had the most amazing eye,” says Peter Sedghi, President/CEO of Luxury Jewels in Beverly Hills. “When you would show her stones, she would tell you the origin, if it’s good quality, bad quality, where it came from."

Taylor collected all kinds of stones, but she had a unique place in her heart for diamonds. They dated back to her life as an iconic actress.

“The studios, in order to make her happy, they’d always give her jewelry," says friend Lorraine Schwartz. "She grew up collecting it. People always gave her gifts... it was something that she learned to love.”

Among the star's most treasured items? A 69-carat Taylor-Burton diamond, purchased for over $1 million; and a 33-carat Krupp diamond, given to her by fifth husband, Richard Burton.

Talk about a gal with a sense of humor.

Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor was laid to rest Thursday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif., in a private funeral attended by friends and family.

The ceremony began 15 minutes after schedule, but it wasn't because people kept filing in late. It did so following the strict instructions the late actress left.

"She even wanted to be late for her own funeral," a family rep said in a statement.

After the one-hour, multi-denominational service, Taylor's casket was interred in The Great Mausoleum, also the resting place of her friend Michael Jackson.

Actor Colin Farrell, Taylor's son Michael Wilding, her daughter Liza Burton Tivey and her grandson Tarquin Wilding all read selected works at the service.

Her grandson Rhys Tivey performed a trumpet solo of "Amazing Grace."

Taylor passed away Wednesday at age 79 after battling heart problems for the past few months. She is survived by four children and 10 grandchildren.

The Westboro Baptist Church is at it again. These people need lives.

As it has in the past with Elizabeth Edwards, Heath Ledger, Natasha Richardson and countless fallen U.S. soldiers, the small Kansas church is directing its rhetoric at Hollywood in threatening to protest at Elizabeth Taylor's funeral.

Aren't church groups supposed to be compassionate? Just asking.

R.I.P. Elizabeth Taylor (1932-2011).

"No RIP Elizabeth Taylor who spent her life in adultery and enabling proud f**s. They cuss her in hell today. #Westboro will picket funeral!" tweeted Margie Phelps.

She's the daughter of Westboro Baptist Church pastor Fred Phelps, who has called for such protests, recently upheld by the Supreme Court (if not human decency).

Elizabeth Taylor passed away yesterday at 79 after being ill for some time. She was a tireless advocate for AIDS awareness and revered by the gay community.

Not surprisingly, that community is livid over Westboro's threats.

Elizabeth Taylor has died at the age of 79.

Her cause of death is not immediately known, but Taylor had been treated at L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for congestive heart failure last month.

Although she had recently suffered a number of complications, her condition had stabilized and it was hoped that she would be able to return home.

Sadly, it was not to be as she passed away.

The English-born, American-raised Elizabeth became a star at a very young age and has long been considered one of the greats of Hollywood's golden age.

A two-time Academy Award-winning actress, Elizabeth Taylor later in life became notorious for her seven marriages and sometimes eccentric behavior.

She starred in the 1944 smash hit National Velvet at age 12, then won acclaim A Place In The Sun, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and other works in the '50s.

Taylor won Oscars in the 1960s for roles in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Butterfield 8, and was often the subject of celebrity gossip fascination.

Her tempestuous marriages to Richard Burton, changing appearance, declining health and friendship with Michael Jackson all sparked speculation.

May the Dame rest in peace. Here's a nice tribute of vintage photos ...

Dr. Arnold Klein is Tweeting back at Elizabeth Taylor over the legendary actress' recent implication that he supplied Michael Jackson with lovers ... of both genders.

The Twitter-tongue-lashing he got resulted from comments he made about MJ's sex life, saying he was gay and confirming rumors of an affair with Jason Pfeiffer.

Taylor lambasted Klein for betraying Michael's confidentiality and trust, and got in an extra dig that the dermatologist supplied Jackson with men as well as women.

Both Pfeiffer and Jackson's former wife Debbie Rowe worked in Klein's office (Klein is also rumored to be the father of MJ's kids, but that's neither here nor there).

He counter-Twittered Friday: "Dearest Elizabeth Michael CHOSE whom he loved; I only SUPPLIED medical care. May God bless you and Michael. Your friend Arnie."

Was Michael Jackson gay? Is Arnold Klein lying? Did the doctor betray the star's trust? Was Elizabeth Taylor out of line? The list of questions goes on and on ...

Elizabeth Taylor, who like Dr. Arnold Klein was very close to Michael Jackson, and who like MJ was a patient of Klein, is slamming the doctor for his recent blabbing.

Specifically, about MJ's alleged gay affair with Jason Pfeiffer.

Not only did Klein back up his former office manager's account of an affair with Jackson, he flat out said Michael was gay, then said he didn't betray Jackson's trust.

An irate Taylor Twittered this yesterday, lambasting the dermatologist and noting the connection between Klein and other person with romantic ties to Jackson:

"Dr. Arnie Klein declared on May 2 that he did not betray Michael Jackson by saying publicly that he had a homosexual relationship with someone in Arnie's office."

"It seems he supplies not only women (Debbie Rowe), but men too ... how convenient."

There's no love lost between two of Michael Jackson's closest friends.

Not finished, Taylor added this stinger: "Just what we want in our doctors. And then to say he did not betray Michael's confidence. No wonder he has death threats."

"I thought doctors, like priests took an oath of confidentiality. May God have mercy on his soul." Rough, to be sure but the legendary actress certainly has a point!

Klein's defense of the comment was that it was made not to slander Michael, but show was not a pedophile. For what it's worth, Joe Jackson and Michael's bodyguards have also come forward to deny the gay affair story.

No comment from Team Arnie or from anyone in the federal witness protection program he may or may not have enlisted in during the past week.

If Elizabeth Taylor learned one thing during her previous eight marriages, it's that she's probably not cut out for marriage. So #9 ain't happening.

As much as she loves Jason Winters, "the rumors regarding my engagement simply aren't true," the legendary Hollywood actress Tweeted today.

Elizabeth Taylor Pic

"Jason is my manager and dearest friend," she added. "I love him with all my heart."

We reported that Elizabeth Taylor and Jason Winters were engaged Friday. Sorry.

Jason Winters and Elizabeth Taylor: In love, not engaged.

The 78-year-old Oscar winner has been married eight times to seven different dudes: Conrad Hilton Jr., Michael Wilding, Mike Todd, Eddie Fisher, Richard Burton (twice), John Warner and most recently to Larry Fortensky, who she divorced in 1996.
