On Friday evening, Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade gave Nicole Muxo the surprise of a lifetime: he showed up at her senior prom!

Muxo, a student at Archbishop F. Coleman Carroll High School, had asked Wade to the event via YouTube.

When she didn't hear back, the 17-year old left the shooting guard a Direct Message on Twitter with the time and location of the event, "just in case" he wanted to make an appearance.

And then he did!

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade conspicuously kicked Ramon Sessions in the groin the other night, and the NBA has kicked him to the curb for one game.

The All-Star has been suspended for today's matchup with Detroit.

Though not called by referees, the play (below) earned him a one-game suspension, which Wade was not pleased about, taking to Twitter to defend himself.

"I'm far from being a dirty player, + my intent was never 2 kick Ramon Sessions ... I just reacted to the contact that I got from him," Wade said Thursday night.

After Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade dropped 26 points on 11-13 shooting last night in a 101-92 win over the Atlanta Hawks, teammate LeBron James was fired up.

So much so, he uncharacteristically called out one of Wade's loudest critics.

"It means Charles Barkley needs to shut up," James said in response to a question of what Wade's performance meant to the team and to the All-Star himself.

Dwyane Wade is currently battling the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals.

But the elite shooting guard was faced with an obstacle far greater than guarding Kevin Durant this weekend, when his estranged ex-wife attempted to kidnap the former couple's two children.

A rep for the Cook County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that Siohvaughn Funches-Wade was arrested for allegedly trying to abduct the boys, saying in a statement:

"Siohvaughn Funches-Wade was charged with two counts of attempted child abduction, two counts of unlawful visitation interference and one count of resisting arrest."

She posted $10,000 bond and will appear in court again this August.

Dwyane - who is dating actress Gabrielle Union - has legal custody of the children and will reportedly use this incident to limit Siohvaughn's visitation rights, considering it's not even her first foray into seriously shady behavior.

In the past couple years, Siohvaughn has sued Union for causing emotional distress and also accused Wade of giving her a STD.

LeBron James capped off his 26th birthday in style last night.

The star made a brilliant inbounds pass to a streaking Dwyane Wade, who converted an alley-oop lay-up in the closing seconds to lift the Miami Heat to 4-0 Friday.

The visiting Heat needed this improbable ending to get the job done, but thanks to James and Wade, they outlasted the scrappy Minnesota Timberwolves, 103-101.

The Miami Heat aren't exactly trying to play down their star power or title expectations with their 2011-12 intro video, set to "All of the Lights" by Kanye West.

Debuting tonight before the Heat's 115-107 win over the Celtics, the video shows Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, LeBron James & Co. in all their grandiosity.

In a word ... EH. Last year's intro video, set to "In The Air Tonight," just invoked a visceral sense of impending awesomeness, even if you loathe the Heat.

"All of the Lights" is a little underwhelming. Maybe that's a good thing, though. After last year's Finals failure, maybe Miami should let its play do the talking:

Dwyane Wade's ex-wife, Siohvaughn, is not peaceful. Nor is she sane.

That was the conclusion, more or less, of an attorney appointed to look out for the kids of the NBA star and his former spouse during their child custody trial.

According to documents filed in Chicago, Lester L. Barclay claims "there is a question as to the mental condition and violent tendencies" of Siohvaughn Wade. 

We are talking about a woman who accused him of giving her an STD and sued him for heavy petting with Gabrielle Union, so it may not be a big stretch.

Barclay claims Siohvaughn's own testimony has revealed a history of extreme violence, and that he believes she has "homicidal" and "suicidal" tendencies.

He wants the court to force Siohvaughn to undergo a psych evaluation with a court-approved psychiatrist, and their kids to stay with Dwyane throughout.

Messy NBA divorces and baby mama drama are all too common these days. On this Tuesday afternoon, it's the saga of Dwyane Wade's wife making headlines.

Siohvaughn Wade was taken into police custody today in Chicago after bailing on a mandatory hearing yesterday in the estranged pair's ongoing divorce war.

The Cook County Sheriff's Department says Siohvaughn was a wanted woman, and taken into custody this morning when she showed up to court in Chicago.

Yesterday, the court issued an order asking police to track her down.

Why did Siohvaughn Wade skip a mandatory court date?

In court today, Siohvaughn's attorney filed papers claiming that she - the attorney - was involved in a car accident yesterday, and asked that the order be rescinded citing the accident as the reason why Siohvaughn was a no-show.

The judge didn't buy it. Siohvaughn was jailed at 11:15 a.m.

Amusingly, Siohvaughn must have known the car accident excuse wasn't going to work, because court officials say she showed up with her $10,000 bond in hand.

She is therefore now out of custody as of this posting.

Last week, she filed a lawsuit alleging her husband's relationship and heavy petting with Gabrielle Union has caused distress to her and the couple's two children.

Siohvaugh also accused Dwyane of giving her an STD.

The estranged wife of NBA star Dwyane Wade is suing his girlfriend, Gabrielle Union, claiming she “engaged in sexual foreplay” in front of Wade’s sons.

She says Union is "inflicting emotional distress" by her actions.

This could get uglier than FlashForward's recent ratings or the Miami Heat's performance in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Celtics.

Siohvaughn Wade has upped the stakes in their ongoing nasty divorce, asserting that actress Union “engaged in sexual foreplay with Dwyane Wade" in front of Wade’s 8-year-old and 2-year-old sons at his Miami home.

In addition to the emotionally distressing groping, Siohvaughn also says Dwayne allowed his 8-year-old to play unsupervised around the pool at night.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have been seen out and about in the Miami area many times lately, having quietly started dating as he’s divorcing Siohvaughn.

The lawsuit filed by Mrs. Wade (maiden name Siohvaughn Funches) also claims:

• That D-Wade’s 8-year-old son told a court appointed representative to put his father in jail so he wouldn’t have to go back to his house and that he calls the home, the house "where the woman kissing daddy lives.”
• That Wade’s 2-year-old nearly drowned while Dwyane was taking care of him.
• That he introduced Gabrielle Union to his sons as his girlfriend and told the young boys “that is why your mom and I are going to divorce.”
• The 8-year-old has suffered so much anxiety that he has lost hair and has bald spots and must undergo court-ordered mental evaluations.

We have no idea if any of that's true ... or if she got that STD from Dwyane as she alleged the last time we heard from ol' Siohvaughn. Stay tuned.

NBA star Dwyane Wade is in the midst of a nasty divorce from wife Siohvaughn Funches Wade, who accuses the baller of, among other things, giving her an STD.

But that's nothing but a lie, according to sworn testimony from a friend.

Siohvaughn Wade has claimed in legal docs the Miami Heat guard gave her chlamydia. But during a deposition, Andrea Williams, close friend of the Wades, says it's not so.

Williams says Siohvaughn contracted the disease from another man.

According to her testimony, Siohvaughn was seeing another man during her marriage, and Williams says she was there in when Wade accused him of the STD transfer.
