Don Imus Has Cancer

Controversial radio host Don Imus, 68, is battling stage II prostate cancer, he announced on his show Monday. He was diagnosed last Wednesday.

"The day you find out is fine," he said. "But the next morning when you get up, your knees are shaking. I didn't think I could make it to work."

Still, he said he expects to make a full recovery.

"I don't want to have great arrogance about it, but I have great doctors," Don Imus said. "I'll be fine. And if I'm not fine, it's no big deal."

"The prognosis couldn't be better."

The I-Man

Imus - who now now works for ABC Radio Networks and cable's RFD-TV - was fired by CBS Radio and MSNBC in spring 2007 for referring to the Rutgers women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos." He later apologized.

Is Don Imus Racist?

Controversial radio personality Don Imus has found himself in the middle of another scandal involving potentially racist remarks after discussing the many arrests of suspended Dallas Cowboys star Adam "Pacman" Jones.

"What color is he?" asked Imus, who was fired last year by CBS after his comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team, to his co-host.

Upon learning that Pacman Jones is, in fact, African-American, Imus succinctly replied: "Well, there you go. Now we know."

After incurring much criticism over the comment, which many view as racist, Don Imus said on Tuesday that he was trying to "make a sarcastic point ... What people should be outraged about is that they arrest blacks for no reason. I mean, there's no reason to arrest this kid six times."

What do you think? Is Don Imus racist, or are people too obsessed with being politically correct and giving him too hard a time over this?

Don Imus: Racist?

Don Imus: Racist or just telling it like it is?

Don Imus Makes Racist Remark About Pacman Jones

Don Imus has done it again!

Yesterday, the controversial, much-maligned radio host wondered aloud about the race of NFL star Adam "Pacman" Jones after hearing about the various (and by various, we mean many) run-ins with the law Jones has had.

"What color is he?" Imus asked his co-host.

After learning that Pacman is African-American, he shot back, "Well, there you go."

You know who's loving this? Charlie Sheen! He's no longer the biggest racist moron of the month! Well he probably still is, but you get the point.

Don Imus was fired by CBS last year after he referred to the Rutgers women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos." Snoop Dogg was not happy.

He was rehired after eight months. WABC, the station that broadcasts the show, said Don Imus will explain his comments today. Mmm hmm.

Snoop Dogg Goes Off On Hos, Don Imus

We've talked already about how Snoop Dogg has it out for Fox News' Bill O'Reilly. The political pundit had better grow eyes in the back of his head... or at least know that he can "suck it," as far as the Doggfather is concerned.

Well, that was just the beginning of Snoop Dogg's entry into the political arena this week. He's back in the news yet again - and surprisingly, not because he got arrested or given a suspended sentence on felony charges.

Snoop lashed out to the media, jumping into the fray and dismissing recently-made comparisons between sexist hip hop lyrics and the recent sexist, racially-charged remarks made by Don Imus that got the jackass radio host axed:

"It's a completely different scenario," Dogg said. "Rappers are not talking about no collegiate basketball girls who have made it to the next level in education and sports. We're talking about hos that's in the 'hood that ain't doing shit, that's trying to get a n!gga for his money."

Tha DoggfatherWow

One can only assume he means Heather Mills. Either way, this Dogg isn't done. His the rant against Don Imus, who obnoxiously referred to the Rutgers women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos" continues...

"These are two separate things. First of all, we ain't no old-ass white men that sit up on MSNBC going hard on black girls. We are rappers that have these songs coming from our minds and our souls that are relevant to what we feel. I will not let them moth%&f*%kers say we are in the same league as [Don Imus]. Kick him off the air forever."

The absurd thing here is that Snoop Dogg, for all his personal problems, criminal rap sheet and lack of eloquence, doesn't make awful points. Good riddance, Don.

This celebrity feud may not prove as long-lasting as the rift between Scott Storch and Timbland, nor does it involve possible sex tape rumors (such as the newfound Lauren Conrad-Heidi Montag spat). But it sure is entertaining.
