Even comedian Jeffrey Ross must have realized that his opening night performance on Dancing with the Stars was no laughing matter. Dude earned 12 total points from the judges.

Actually, we take it back; that's hilarious. It was also enough to send Ross home as the first celebrity eliminated this season.

Cody Linley and Julianne Hough are sort of like the Ken and Barbie of this season's Dancing with the Stars.

They are blond, young and will most likely appear on stage in numerous outfits over the next few months. That is, assuming this dancing tandem isn't voted off by viewers first.

Kim Kardashian and Mark Ballas foxtrotted their ways into home last night on the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars.

In the following clip of their performance, we're introduced to the couple with: "I'm Kim Kardashian and I'm best known for being a reality TV star."

In Love with Herself

Well, we guess having sex on tape is realistic. And Kim sure did star in that video!

Kardashian also says: "When I met Mark, I was so excited. He's a champion and I knew I was in the best hands possible."

Ouch. Reggie Bush just got dissed!

Overall, Kardashian looked the part of someone who could compete this season. But she was as stiff on the floor as most of her partners are in bed. Girlfriend has got to loosen up!

And wear a far more revealing outfit.

It was our chance to see the youngest (Cody Linley), oldest (Cloris Leachman) and most pornographic (Kim Kardashian) contestants in show history in action. Here's a quick rundown of the dances they each did and their combined scores from the judges:

Who was your favorite dancing star from night one?

The seventh season of Dancing with the Stars is set to begin tonight. This season's cast promises to be a strong one, with no shortage of sexy pairings and compelling story lines. Two staffers at The Hollywood Gossip debate, in today's Face-Off ...

CODY LINLEY by Hilton Hater

I have an apartment phone, a cell phone and a wireless connection.

In other words: Cody Linley will win Dancing with the Stars this season, if only because i'll use every piece of technology at my disposal to keep him and GORGEOUS partner Julianne Hough on my television for as long as possible.

Sure, Linley and Hough voters will have competition from horny men who have proven to be fans of Kim Kardashian contorting herself into various positions on screen. But, like boyfriend Reggie Bush in goal line situations, Kim won't come through when it matters.

Other competitors are too old (Cloris Leachman) or too uncomfortable wearing clothing (Brooke Burke) to stick around for very long.

But Linley possesses the ideal combination of youth and enthusiasm, innocence and determination, to pull it off. He's appeared opposite Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana's love interest for several episodes of that hit Disney Channel series.

And that experience ought to serve the actor well.

If you can successfully court the most popular teenager on the planet, you should have no problem doing the same for millions of fans.

Thanks to the magic of the Internets, this year's Dancing with the Stars ought to be more interactive than ever.

Kim Kardashian, for one, will be keeping fans abreast of her progress (with partner Mark Ballas) via her MySpace blog. Here's a look at how she's tracked her training progress on there so far:

Another Birthday Party

On first meeting Ballas on August 18: "All I could think was, I would be spending weeks and weeks and weeks, hours upon hours with this person, so I hoped we’d just get along to start!”

On their first two on-air dances: “We had to pick two songs that were the right tempo and cadence for the specific dances we’re doing — it has to match and has to work — but we also wanted things that worked for our personalities — plus we wanted things that we thought the crowd would like.”

On the Dancing with the Stars fashion team: ”Every sequin, every bead, is painstakingly and lovingly applied and sewn by hand."

On improving her technique: “At first, I just try to imitate what Mark does, but after a while and with his guidance, I know the dance steps myself and not that is gets easy, but it gets less confusing and we can actually dance together and that is really, really exciting. Of course I have my moments where I lose my balance or I lose my place, and some days are better than others.”

On anticipation of Dancing with the Stars premiere on September 22: “Mark and I continue to rehearse every single day, still make each other laugh, and are getting more and more excited to show everyone what we’ve been working so hard for!! Just a few more days!!!”

As we've covered over the last couple weeks, pictures of Brooke Burke nude - and getting VERY cozy with some guy - have created controversy over the selection of this model for the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars.

Still, as the photo below proves, the television personality is ready to show viewers what she has on the dance floor, as opposed the bedroom.

Here she is in her first Dancing with the Stars promotional photo, posing alongside partner Derek Hough:

A variety of Kim Kardashian nude photos have put this reality TV star on the celebrity map.

However, it will be her appearance - and subsequent performance - on Dancing with the Stars that dictates whether or not this amateur sex tape star can become a true A-lister.

The seventh season of the reality competition kicks off on September 22, but here's your first chance to see Kim and partner Mark Ballas in a Dancing with the Stars promo. The latter won last year's trophy as the mentor of ice skater Krisi Yamaguchi.

From partnerting with a gold medalist to teaming up with a woman with large breasts, can Ballas do it again?

How far do you think Kim Kardashian and Mark Ballas will go on Dancing with the Stars?

by Hilton Hater at . Comments

Kim Kardashian's ass may have its own zip code, but it's also about to have its own national stage: season seven of Dancing with the Stars.

As a result, the reality television and sex tape star says she has goals for her most famous body part (no offense to her giant breasts).

“I’m hoping that it’ll firm it up and shape it up,” she said. “Everyone is asking if I’m worried it’s going to go away. No, it’s going to tone it up. I can use that.”

Like Barack Obama, Kim Kardashian promises changes. She's just referring to her ass, not middle class tax cuts.

Okay then. What sort of fashion can we expect to see this aspiring dancer wear with her new, supposedly taut rear end? Kardashian said she expects to show off more skin as the competition moves forward.

“Today the costume that I tried on wasn’t as crazy, [but] the better shape that I get into they will be a little more sexy and risqué,” she said. “I’m starting off with maybe a ball gown, something a little bit more elegant and a little bit more covered up.”

Dancing with the Stars Quotes

We should have started dancing with one arm waaay before.

I am not the best dancer, and I have not been the best dancer from the beginning. I am happy we made it this far.
