The bad news for Chuck Wicks: he was sent home on Dancing with the Stars last night.

The good news for Chuck Wicks: he gets to spend that time at home with former partner and current gorgeous girlfriend Julianne Hough.

Sorry if we aren't shedding any tears for you, C-Wick.

Following his ousting, Wicks seemed a tad bitter over the fact that he was eliminated instead of Melissa Rycroft, whose fractured rib forced her to sit out of Monday night's performance show.

"This has been fantastic. I've had a great time," Wicks said. "In the last three weeks we've gotten standing ovations from the crowd, and that's really what matters. It shows you how many fans Melissa has - for her to be five points down and still in this competition is incredible. So hats off to you, Melissa."

Chill, Chuck. You have seen your girlfriend, right?

Due to a fractured rib, Melissa Rycroft did not participate on Dancing with the Stars last night.

While viewers were crushed to find this out when they tuned to ABC at 8 p.m., no one was more distraught over the injury than Rycroft's partner, Tony Dovolani.

"Up until a half hour before the show, she was still trying to dance for me and she was in complete pain," Dovolani told Us Weekly after the performance show. "She has a high threshold for pain - and she still came onstage and tried to dance for me and that says a lot about her."

Minus Melissa Rycroft, last night's edition of Dancing with the Stars was less beautiful than usual.

Approximately 15 seconds into their Jive, Dovolani said: "She couldn't breathe. So I picked her up, as I would pick up my own daughter. I brought her backstage and tried to calm her down and help her rest.

"I have to tell you. I don't think any other celebrity would have done that - she still tried to dance. That says a lot about a person."

It sure does. Send in your best wishes for Melissa right now. Let her know fans are hoping for a fast, full recovery!

For the first time on Dancing with the Stars this season, contestants were split into two teams and performed a group dance last night.

But the excitement was significantly tempered due to the absence of Melissa Rycroft, who was forced to sit out this week with a hairline fracture of her rib.

Workin' Out the Kinks

"She received treatment today for her ribs, and there were complications," a show representative said. "She's resting, and we expect her back here tomorrow."

This week's edition of Dancing with the Stars was significantly less pretty without Melissa Rycroft on screen.

As for the results from the watered-down evening:

The score from the group dance was added to each tandem's individual routines. Rycroft and Tony Dovolani were graded on rehearsal footage, while Team Tango - which was comprised of Lil Kim, Gilles Marini, Ty Murray and their partners - won the group face-off with a score of 28.

Here's a rundown of each individual routine:

  • Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke: 27 out of 30 for their lindy hop. 55 out of 60 total
  • Lil’ Kim and Derek Hough: 28 out of 30 for their paso doble. 56 out of 60 total
  • Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough 26 out of 30 for their cha-cha. 51 out of 60 total
  • Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas: 27 out of 30 for their samba. 52 out of 60 total
  • Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani: 21 out of 30 for their jive. 46 out of 60 total
  • Ty Murray and Chelsie Hightower: 24 out of 30 for their salsa. 52 out of 60 total

Who do you think should be eliminated this week?

Melissa Rycroft was number-one in the heart of Jason Mesnick... for approximately four minutes of televised airtime on The Bachelor.

She's hoping to remain in first place on Dancing with the Stars for a lot longer.

Following an impressive Argentine Tango last night, Rycroft and partner Tony Dovolani have now earned the most points of any tandem this season. It's gonna be an intense battle for the trophy over the next few weeks.

Here's a rundown of this week's performances and points:

  • Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani, Argentine Tango : 29
  • Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas, Cha Cha: 28
  • Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough, Samba: 27
  • Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke, Viennese Waltz: 27
  • Lil' Kim and Derek Hough, Rumba: 26
  • Ty Murray and Chelsie Hightower, Waltz: 24
  • Lawrence Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska, Waltz: 21

The Rumba is all about being romantic. And we need to get that back.

So said Julianne Hough on last night's Dancing with the Stars, in a video that aired immediately before she and boyfriend Chuck Wicks got their romance back... and a whole lot more!

The couple performed a Rumba that was filled with so much heat, environmentalists are criticizing the routine for its effects on Global Warming!

Judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli fanned themselves following the performance, as the latter exclaimed: “I’d like some of that, please!”

Stuffy judge Len Goodman said the Rumba was "more suitable for the bedroom than the ballroom," which simply got us thinking about Hough in the bedroom. As we enjoy that fantasy, watch the dance for yourself:

Wicks and Hough only earned 23 points for their sexy effort. Here's a rundown of the scores from last night:

  • Lil' Kim and Derek Hough: 28
  • Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani: 27
  • Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke: 26
  • Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas: 26
  • Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough: 23
  • Lawrence Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska: 22
  • Ty Murray and Chelsie Hightower: 18
  • Steve-O and Lacey Schwimmer: 16

Who was your favorite? Who deserves to go home this week?

One point.

Just one measly point.

That's all that separated Cheryl Burke and Gilles Marini from their second consecutive perfect score on last night's Dancing with the Stars.

Despite being told by Carrie Ann Inaba that their Paso Doble "almost brought tears" to her eyes, and despite Bruno Tonioli's raves that it "was more than a dance, [it] was a battle for supremacy," the couple was denied another 30 because Len Goodman referred to the routine as "hectic."

No matter. Burke and Marini still sit atop this week's leaderboard. Here's a look at last night's scores:

  • Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke: 29
  • Lil' Kim and Derek Hough: 26
  • Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas: 26
  • Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani: 25
  • Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough: 23
  • David Alan Grier and Kym Johnson: 22
  • Ty Murray and Chelsie Hightower: 21
  • Lawrence Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska: 20
  • Steve-O and Lacey Schwimmer: 18

Kim Kardashian krashed and burned during her time on Dancing with the Stars.

But the large-breasted reality TV star is still a fan of the show, often stopping by to hang out with its current cast of contestants.

Kim visited the set earlier this week, writing on her official blog that "Melissa and Tony were so beautiful together but so much fun to watch and Cheryl and Gilles - I really couldn't tell the difference between who was the professional. They are so hot together!"

Kardashian added that she simply had to grab the booty of Lil Kim after the show. Looks like the rapper returned the favor...

Steve Wozniak was also sent home this week, but we're guessing readers care more about the Playboy model than the Apple computer founder.

Having come aboard Dancing with the Stars as a last-minute replacement for Jewel, and having suffered a few injuries herself, Holly Madison was eliminated from the competition last night.

Citing the costumes as her favorite part of the show, Madison said the following after her ousting:

"It was a lot physically harder than I thought it was going to be, but it was so much fun and I'm so glad l got a chance to do it."

Holly's Last Dance

Dmitry Chaplin and Holly Madison brought the hotness, but not the talent, to season eight of Dancing with the Stars.
