Chaz Bono Posts Lowest Score on Dancing With the Stars; Is Tonight the End of the Road?

Chaz Bono battled gamely through the pain of inflamed knees last night on Dancing With the Stars, but couldn't top his previous week's score of 17.

Whereas last week, that was good enough to best some others, it was at the bottom of the heap last night, casting serious doubt on his hopes tonight.

"My knees just hurt so much," Chaz Bono said Monday. The judges praised his attitude, but said his quickstep was simply too slow and not up to par.

Here's the performance that left him in jeopardy, well behind Ricki Lake and every other contestant who took to the parquet floor last night ...

What do you think? Will Chaz Bono's controversial run on Dancing With the Stars conclude this evening, or will America vote to save him?

Ricki Lake Shows Off Dance Moves, Thinner Body

Rob Kardashian may have been the night's most improved dancer, but Ricki Lake's flashy moves during the jive earned her the highest score of the night.

The Dancing With the Stars contender, who scored a 23 to lead the pack, is happy about that result - but even more pleased about her shrinking body.

Lake, who said she was inspired by former contestant Kirstie Alley's weight loss on DWTS last season, has already dropped 12 pounds and several sizes.

"I'm really getting in great shape," the talk show host said afterward. "I'll be wearing less and less clothing. The smaller I get, the less will be covered."

Rob Kardashian on Dancing With the Stars: Better Than Kim!

Rob Kardashian will not win Dancing With the Stars, but he's officially won bragging rights after a strong jive routine with partner Cheryl Burke last night.

"It's official," Carrie Ann Inaba said, bestowing a compliment he'll never let his sister live down. "Rob Kardashian is a better dancer than Kim Kardashian!"

"No disrespect to Kim," Inaba continued, before heaping more praise. "But you have the dancing gene, honey. It's nice to see your confidence coming out."

Bruno Tonioli agreed, telling the reality star he'd started "to blossom," while Len Goodman praised Rob for his "great improvement" since last week.

Despite having a famous family, Rob Kardashian struggles with all eyes on him. "I'm scared as hell," he admitted during rehearsal for the ABC show.

"I don't feel great about myself at all. To be in front of people knowing I'm insecure with my weight, and I say I have man boobs jokingly, but it's true."

"Being surrounded by all these dancers who are in great shape, it's just hard to be around and [then] be able to put yourself out there like that."

With his score of 21, Kardashian tied Elisabetta Canalis, Chynna Phillips and Nancy Grace, just two points shy of Ricki Lake's field-leading total of 23.

Look for Rob to be easily safe tonight and live to show up Kim another week.

Nancy Grace on Dancing With the Stars: Major Nipple Slip Alert!

File this under Nipple Slips You Never Thought You'd Encounter: Nancy Grace had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction on Dancing With the Stars Monday night.

The 51-year-old HLN host fell out of her costume, causing ABC to pan quickly to a static shot of the audience. Thank goodness for tape delay, right?

"On the European version that would be perfectly fine," Tom Bergeron joked.

After the 51-year-old readjusted herself and buried her face in partner Tristan MacManus' shoulder, the pair finished their quickstep with a solid 21 points.

The judges were able to see past the partial nudity, which was nice to see.

Even the most cantankerous judge appreciated Grace's performance. "How refreshing," Len Goodman said. "That was a proper quickstep. Well done!"

Nancy's total was among the top Dancing With the Stars scores from last night. Chaz Bono stands alone in last place, with Ricki Lake alone in first.

Dancing With the Stars Recap: The Ricki Lake Show

On last week's Dancing With the Stars premiere, Chaz Bono stole the show, while Chynna Phillips and J.R. Martinez tied for first place after strong waltzes.

Who ended up in first this week? Did Chaz continue his decent, if not stellar dance moves? Who's in danger of following Metta World Peace out the door?

We have a new leader after Monday, and while it's none of the aforementioned three cast members, it's someone we considered a favorite going in ...

Ricki Lake, Derek Hough Picture

Derek Hough guided Ricki Lake right to the top of the leaderboard with a 23 Monday night, even though Len groused about wanting more jive content.

Just behind the Lake show was J.R., jumpin' and jivin' his way to a 22. Chynna stumbled a little and ended up two points back of the lead this week.

Also taking a step back was Hope Solo, whose timing and footwork were way off, and David Arquette, who ... we don't even know what that was.

As far as exceeding expectations, Rob Kardashian fared better with Cheryl Burke's take on the jive. So much so that he won a critical distinction:

"It's official!" hooted a happy Carrie Ann Inaba from the judges' panel. "Rob Kardashian is a better dancer than Kim Kardashian! No offense Kim!"

Not saying much, but hey. Baby steps.

Dancing With the Stars Week Two Preview: Who's Going Strong? Who's Going Down?

After a premiere that was overshadowed by Two and a Half Men in the ratings, Dancing With the Stars returns for its second week of competition this evening.

In week one, the controversial Chaz Bono proved he's got the confidence and personality, if not the natural talent, to stick around at least a little while this fall.

Metta World Peace? Out.

Chynna Phillips, J.R. Martinez and Hope Solo turned in strong performances, while Nancy Grace, Rob Kardashian and Elisabetta Canalis ended up at the bottom.

DWTS Top 11

Can those three rebound this week? Possibly, given a little experience and the first-week jitters out of the way. But it'll be a tall order to top the favorites.

In the middle of the pack, Ricki Lake, Kristin Cavallari, Carson Kressley and David Arquette could all make a move or fall flat. Expect a little of each.

Our picks to go home this week? Rob, who acts like he doesn't want to be there, or Nancy, who may be too polarizing to draw enough fan support.

Who will win Dancing With the Stars?

Kristin Cavallari
Ricki Lake
Chynna Phillips
Hope Solo
David Arquette
Rob Kardashian
J.R. Martinez
Chaz Bono
Carson Kressley

Kristin Cavallari and Mark Ballas: Obligatory Dating Rumor Alert!

Kristin Cavallari and Mark Ballas are young, hot, newly single stars - she split with Jay Cutler, he broke up with Pia Toscano - who dance suggestively.

Let the dating rumors begin!

"That s––t's already started," Ballas said, laughing off the rumors that he's doing the horizontal mambo with Cavallari. "She is a sweetheart. We have a lot of fun."

"We both laugh a lot. We're getting along great."

Cavallari, whose engagement to Jay Cutler just ended this summer, has no problems with people speculating that she and Ballas are more than partners.

"I kind of expected [the dating rumors], to be honest," she says.

"That's just what happens when you put two people together."

All celebrity gossip aside, the dancing duo is excited about what the season holds in the ballroom. Says Mark, after this week's DWTS results:

"I'm really proud of her so far. We’re focusing on the routines and making the best performances for our fans. We're really grateful to them for voting for us."

Kardashian Sisters Kall Out Elisabetta Canalis, Use Improper Grammar, Imply DWTS is Rigged

The Kardashian sisters are as confused by this week's Dancing with the Stars results as we are by their fame.

After brother Rob Kardashian was ranked in the bottom three on Tuesday night - saved from elimination when fans voted off Metta Peace instead - the siblings took to Twitter and expressed their outrage.

"There is NO way Rob Kardashian was trending worldwide last night and in the bottom 3. Impossible!" Kourtney wrote. "HOW IS ELISABETTA SAFE?!??! HOW?! Seriously!!!"

Khloe Kardashian had the answer for her shocked sister, Tweeting: "Shows are rigged all the time."

Finally, Kim chimed in with an abuse of the English language: "Rob in the bottom three is impossible! He did soooo good!"

Allow THG three responses to these reactions:

  1. Kourtney, trending does not mean one is popular. Rob may have been trending because people were curious about the brother of the girl who got famous for having sex with Ray J on video.
  2. Khloe, the show might be rigged. Viewers also might dislike your talent-free family.
  3. Kim, unless you are referring to charity work Rob did during commercial breaks, one cannot do "good." One can only do "well."

Jay Cutler to Dancing With the Stars Fans: Vote For Kristin!

Kristin Cavallari was safe from elimination on last night's Dancing With the Stars results show. She can credit her partner Mark Ballas, her own hard work in practice, and maybe, possibly, just a little bit, her ex-fiance Jay Cutler.

Yesterday, the Bears QB Tweeted: “Good luck babe “@KristinCav: Don’t forget to vote tonight!! 18008683403 or abc.com Vote for KC on DWTS tonight.”

Despite Jay breaking off their engagement, Cavallari was very touched.

“That was very sweet,” the reality star said of his get-out-the-vote bid.

What, if anything, that Tweet could mean for a possible reconciliation is anyone's guess, and she wasn't about to go there. Kristin did, however, praise Mark.

“He’s great. He’s very patient, we haven’t gotten in a fight, he hasn’t yelled at me,” she said after Tuesday's show, which saw Metta World Peace sent packing.

“So far, so good!” Agreed. Check out Kristin's debut performance.
