Jimmy Kimmel took his recurring “Lie Witness News” segment to Coachella last weekend, in an effort to get the perspective of festival-goers on various bands.

Ones that do not actually exist.

“Music fans love knowing about bands no one else has heard of," he dryly noted, then decided to take this idea to an entirely different, absurd level.

"So we sent a camera crew to Coachella, and we asked people walking into the venue what they thought about a bunch of bands whose names we made up.”

Among the awesome band names Kimmel and his correspondent invented: Dr. Shlomo & G.I. Clinic, The Chelsea Clintons and Get The F**k Out of My Pool.

Two Door Cinema Club is actually real, however, to make it even more confusing.

Lindsay Lohan claims she stayed drug-free the ENTIRE time at Coachella.

2 Chainz is making no such assertions. Check out this photo from 4/20:

That is a giant ass joint by any measure, but appropriate for the date.

And the setting. Not a lot of sober folks at Coachella we're guessing.

All the peeps at Snoop Dogg's 4/20 party clearly missed out.

Lindsay Lohan not only managed to not die at Coachella, she was 100% clean, navigating the tempting waters of drugs and booze without parking.

So she claims. Show of hands: Who believes that?

Lindsay is telling people she did not drink even a sip of alcohol and stayed clear of all drugs, no matter how much of each people around her were using.

For the record, there were no photos of Lohan partying ... and there are always photos of her partying. So it's at least within the realm of possibility.

No one even recalled seeing her at any parties at night, which is pretty surprising but probably a good thing ... with rehab looming on May 2 and all.

In conclusion, assuming she's telling the truth:

1. Good for her, showing willpower, but
2. Why even bother going then?

All is not simply well in the world of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

All is musical!

The reunited couple was spotted at Coachella on Friday, taking in the music festival while trying to dress incognito. But it will take more than a baseball cap and t-shirt for this pair to go unnoticed!

Lindsay Lohan is off to Coachella, where she swears she will not be partaking in any drugs or alcohol ... a dubious claim even by Lindsay Lohan standards.

The troubled star, who pushed back her rehab stint just so she could attend the annual festival, is telling friends "she's not living her life for other people."

That's for damn sure.

LL swears she's just going for the music, as if anyone really does that, and wants to have some fun before checking into rehab for her big 90-day stay.

Lindsay is also STILL insisting she doesn't have any problem with drugs or alcohol, even though a friend recently mused that she may die at Coachella.

Lindsay Lohan‘s plans to attend the 2013 Coachella music festival has her alleged best friend very upset. Claus Hjelmbak says, in no uncertain terms:

“I fear for Lindsay's life if she goes to the festival.”

Hjelmbak, a Danish celebrity promoter, has been friends with Lohan for years, and has decided to go public with his fears "in order to get her attention."

We're sure that's all that prompted it, Claus.

“Lindsay is in a very dark place right now, and I’m absolutely scared for her life. Coachella is the last place she needs to be," says this Lohan insider.

How do you follow that up?

It's a tall order, for sure, but Coachella organizers have turned to reunited Brit-pop act Blur and the Red Hot Chili Peppers to anchor its 2013 festival.

Blur and RHCP will be joined by reunited countrymates the Stone Roses, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Lou Reed, Phoenix and Trent Reznor's How to Destroy Angels.

Katy Perry and Robert Ackroyd may or may not be "dating" but they are definitely hooking up. These photos of them at Coachella leave no doubt about that.

The pop sensation and the Florence and The Machine guitarist, who were also spotted together at the music festival last weekend, were all over each other.

According to some reports, Katy, who was linked to Baptiste Giabiconi just last month, was already referring to him as her "boyfriend." One can see how:

Looks like Perry is ready to move on from her soon-to-be ex-husband Russell Brand, who filed for divorce back in December after 14 months of marriage.

Brand and Perry have been on relatively good terms since then, with Brand refusing to make a play for Katy's money and expressing nary a harsh word.

It seems like Katy Perry is wasting no time playing the field splitting from husband Russell Brand. Her latest reported love interest? Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, who was holding hands with her at Coachella last weekend.

Here's them on the way to see her BFF Rihanna and Calvin Harris:

She also reportedly called him her "boyfriend" too, according to reports.

"Backstage at the Artist Lounge at Coachella last weekend, Katy kept saying her boyfriend was the guitar player for Florence + the Machine," a source says.

"Then later, he and a bunch of friends were supposed to go see Dr. Dre together, but Katy said she was waiting to watch her 'boyfriend' perform!"

Ackroyd also tweeted, "Best Coachella ever. Scratch that, best weekend ever. Dre, Snoop, Pac, Nate, Fiddy & KP." So clearly he's into her in some way!

Rihanna doesn't care what you think ... on 4/20 or any other day.

That much has been made abundantly clear, but nevertheless, fans were surprised to see her upload Instagram photos that feature her sitting on top of a bald bodyguard's head, rolling what appears to be a cigar leaf full of marijuana.

Good times at Coachella, apparently:

Risque Instagram pics are nothing new for her (see Rihanna topless self portraits from her Hawaiian vacation), but the weed-on-dude's-head pic raised eyebrows.

MTV tweeted a link to a story about how her "marijuana photos from Coachella sparked controversy," citing the above image and the implied marijuana use.

The 24-year-old singer took only 12 minutes to respond ...

It appears @rihanna got the better of this battle. MTV deleted its original tweet about her, then sent the singer another one shortly after, writing simply:

"Well played."
