Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr made their public debut as a couple last night, less than two years after he was busted cheating on his wife with her.

The 37-year-old country singer and his one-time mistress made their first appearance together since he split from his wife of 12 years, Jessica Ussery.

Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr, first linked after they were caught kissing in public in 2012, looked as happy as could be at the 2014 CMT Music Awards.

The woman who stole Aldean's heart (sort of literally) is an ex-cheerleader for the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats, an aspiring model and former American Idol hopeful.

Jennifer Lopez memorably tried to send her home after her audition, but Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson overruled her, giving her a ticket to Hollywood.

Once there, she found another golden ticket in Aldean. Too soon?

Country music's biggest stars gathered last night for the 2014 CMT Music Awards, hosted by the beloved Kristen Bell for the third straight year.

The actress did not disappoint from the get-go, opening the show with a hilarious skit of the infamous Jay Z-Solange elevator fight from last month.

In the opening scene of the show, a stressed-out Kristen - rushing to get to her first solo CMT Music Awards hosting gig - is waiting for an elevator.

We then cut to the "surveillance footage" taking place inside the elevator, where country star Luke Bryan is full-on brawling with Florida Georgia Line.

It's unclear if Bryan is supposed to be Jay or if the Sunshine/Peach State duo, comprised of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, are Beyonce or Solange.

Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood put on contrasting performances last night at the 2013 CMT Awards.

While the latter stood subdued and sang along with a chorus while dedicating "See You Again" to victims of the Oklahoma tornado... Swift donned hot pants and a bodice for a live rendition of "Red."

She even fell to her knees at one point in front of her guitar player.

Yes, this was an especially fiery and sexy version of Taylor Swift. But was it a good one? Watch now and decide for yourself:

Also winning big: Miranda Lambert got her third female video of the year award, this time for "Over You," while Luke Bryan was the man of the hour.

Bryan was awarded male video of the year for his hit "I Don't Want This Night to End," then threw a pair of underwear into the screaming crowd.

A sparkly dress-rocking Carrie Underwood won for "Remind Me," her duet with Brad Paisley, then took home video of the year for "Good Girl."

Underwood wasn't the only American Idol alum at the CMT Music Awards.

Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery beat runner-up Lauren Alaina in the breakthrough video of the year category for his song "The Trouble with Girls."
