Brad Pitt assured fans Thursday that he is planning on marrying Angelina Jolie ... even while offering no details on when and where it will take place.

In London to promote his new film Killing Them Softly, the 48-year-old star gamely fielded questions about wedding plans with his gorgeous fiancee.

"No plans yet, other than we are going to do it," Pitt said, adding that despite his steadfast desire to marry her, "I plan very little as I get older."

Insiders say Pitt and Jolie's nuptials will be a "simple, joyous gathering" with a tiny guest list, and that means no celebrities overshadowing the affair.

While Pitt and Jolie, 37, live at France's Chateau Miraval, the wedding rumors followed them to England this summer as she shoots Maleficent.

"It's been a great summer here," Pitt said of life in the UK at Thursday's event. "It's just been a great spirited summer with all the sporting events."

"It's one of the most pleasurable times I've ever had here. We've been hanging out just having a normal life while Mama works," he added.

Chris O'Dowd tied the knot with English TV presenter Dawn Porter last month.

The Irish actor and his bride documented the very happy occasion via Twitter. According to Porter, the wedding "was a three-day love fest. Sure, I have an amazing husband, but I also have the most smashing pals imaginable."

O'Dowd, whose Bridesmaids quotes and Girls quotes are memorable, called the day unforgettable, sharing the above image of the duo in matching sweatsuits.

Elisha Cuthbert already knows a thing about Happy Endings quotes. Now she's even more well-versed on the subject in real life as well as TV.

The actress is engaged to Dion Phaneuf of the Toronto Maple Leafs!

Cuthbert, 29, announced on Twitter that she's "Happily, happily, happily, happily engaged! This has been the most amazing weekend ever."

The couple, who began dating way back in May 2008, celebrated at New Glasgow Lobster in Prince Edward Island, Canada, last night.

"Last night we had the privilege of hosting a surprise engagement party for Dion Phaneuf and Elisha Cuthbert," the restaurant tweeted.

"Congrats to them both."

Announcing their engagement at the PEI venue was "a nice surprise for all their guests ... Congrats to them both and LOVE the ring!"

Phaneuf, 27, "never said it was for an engagement party," a source says. "They invited 40 friends and family to celebrate at the restaurant."

"Elisha looked very happy and pleased. She was showing off her ring to her family and the wait staff," the source at the restaurant adds.

"Dion and Elisha both got up an gave a speech and thanked everyone for being there and celebrating this exciting time with them."

Cuthbert previously dated NHL player Sean Avery, who was suspended for saying Phaneuf was enjoying his sloppy seconds in 2008.

Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, real estate broker Aryn Drake-Lee, in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The couple, who have been together more than five years, exchanged vows in a romantic, elegant, evening ceremony in front of close family and friends.

"Jesse was beaming with joy throughout the entire ceremony," said a guest at the wedding. "It was the perfect night with lots of smiling, laughing and emotion."

"You could feel the love they have for each other. They're madly in love!"

The TV heartthrob first met his bride while he was working as a schoolteacher in New York, before getting his big break in the acting world.

"She's been with me through all different facets of my career," Williams said. "She's stuck with me through thick and thick and thick and thin."

"We know each other in and out."

We know Adele is pregnant, but reports are saying that she and soon-to-be baby daddy Simon Konecki may be engaged - or even married! - as well.

A little more than a month away from welcoming her first child, the "Rumour Has It" singer was glowing as she showed off her baby bump in Scotland.

But is there a second reason for that glow?

Adele, who's been with Simon Konecki for over a year now, was sporting a gold wedding band on her ring finger, Life & Style claims in its latest issue.

"Adele and Simon managed to keep the baby news a secret for so long that there are rumors they've already gotten married, too," reveals an insider.

"She's an old-fashioned girl and can't wait to be part of a family unit with Simon ... [Adele] just wants to focus on the baby and the man she loves."

Crazy, almost certainly untrue stuff all around.

Rosie O’Donnell has revealed that she married girlfriend Michelle Rounds this summer in a secret NYC wedding before the latter's tumor-related surgery.

O'Donnell and Rounds tied the knot in a private ceremony June 9.

Both women recently suffered medical setbacks and had originally pushed their wedding back to next summer. Two weeks ago, Rosie suffered a heart attack.

Rounds' Desmoid tumors, removed in June, were described by Rosie as “a mysterious, rare – too often fatal disease that affects 3 in a million people.”

In a new blog post, Rosie wrote, “We were to wed 10 days ago but her illness forced us to postpone the wedding, luckily, as i was in ICU that day, when it rains … things grow like love and flowers, humans too.”

“We married in private before her surgery just the 2 of us. When we r both well enough [we] will have the wedding of r dreams, surrounded by those we cherish.”

In the meantime, Rosie is hoping to raise awareness and funds for the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation, including by selling original paintings on eBay.

All proceeds benefit DTRF (dot) org. Congrats, and here's wishing good health, to the newlyweds ... even Donald Trump can join us in that sentiment!

Former South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford confirmed on Sunday that he is engaged to marry his now-infamous Argentine girlfriend, Maria Belen Chapur.

"Yes, it's true and I stand by my statement," Sanford told Reuters.

Sanford was referring to a statement given to CNN in which he said, "Yes, we are engaged, and I'm both happy and excited for what that means."

"I have long expressed my feelings for her, she's a wonderful person. My closest friends love her, and I look forward to introducing her to still many more."

Back in the summer of 2009, then-Governor Sanford disappeared to visit his mistress in Argentina for a week. Aides said he was hiking the Appalachian Trail.

When Sanford returned, he gave a tearful, State House press conference admitting he had been unfaithful to his wife and calling Chapur his "soul mate."

He served out the rest of his term until January 2011. Sanford and his wife, Jenny Sanford, were divorced in 2010. They have four children together.

Britney Spears is NOT experiencing cold feet and is still very much planning to wed Jason Trawick, despite a tabloid report to the contrary, sources say.

The Britney rumor was published by Us Weekly, which also proclaims Bachelorette Emily Maynard was caught cheating on Jef Holm in this week's issue.

We're finding it hard to believe either story even a little bit, at least as it stands now. Says a source close to the singer/soon-to-be X Factor judge:

"There's no truth to any second thoughts about their wedding. They're fine and both look forward to working again when The X Factor gets started."

"They've had a great summer."

Speculation about trouble between Spears and Jason Trawick swirled recently when she was photographed outside court without her engagement ring.

But, according to the source, "she was not wearing her ring because she took it off during an Elizabeth Arden [photo] shoot and Jason was holding it."

"He simply forgot to give it back until later that day."

Perfectly logical. As far as walking down the aisle goes, the insider says, the two aren't in a huge rush, and she's beyond thrilled for when they do.

"Even though Britney has been married before, she looks at her wedding to Jason as her real wedding and is so, so excited," the source says.

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger of Nickelback fame are engaged! Few knew they were even together for six months, and now they're getting married!

Her rep confirmed the engagement to People Tuesday.

Canadian music stars Lavigne, 27, and Kroeger, 37, first got together in February to write a song for Lavigne's upcoming fifth studio album.

"A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together," a Lavigne pal says, and on August 8, Kroeger popped the question.

"He makes her so happy," a Lavigne family source says of the soon-to-be newlyweds. "Both of their families could not be more excited."

It will be Kroeger's first trip down the aisle, and the second marriage for Lavigne, who split from Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley in 2009.

She was also in a serious relationship with Brody Jenner.

The source, an alleged Jen pal, says it's 8 carats and "It's beautiful."

We're sure it is. Tabloid speculation aside, it is beautiful that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux got engaged. She's been through a lot!

Speaking of which, L&S claims "rival bride" Angelina Jolie WILL steal Jen's thunder. You can take that quote to the Boulder of Salt bank!
