Not present? Rihanna, who's in New York City on her Diamonds World Tour.

Karrueche Tran, who dated Chris for like a year before she was dispatched (see the infamous Chris Brown drunk rant about that), remains close to him.

In this case, pretty literally. The model was invited by the singer himself to the party and sources at the club say they hung out for much of the evening.

Somewhere, we see a Rihanna fan kiss photo or no pants pics being planned as retribution ... followed by cozy CB and Rih Instagram shots a week later.

TMZ has posted pics of Kardashian and Rihanna go-karting and then partying last night at Playhouse in Hollywood.

There were actually rumors of a fling between this expected pair in February, but little has been heard about them as an item since.

Rob, in fact, is getting both hot and heavy with Rita Ora, as sources confirm the couple recently got each other's names tattooed on their hands.

So might Kardashian and Rihanna simply have been hanging out as friends? Of course. But what fun would that be to speculate about?!?

The stars came out Monday for the annual event, but no one shined quite as brightly as Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake in a rare joint appearance.
