It turns out Michael Lohan was held in contempt of court and thrown in jail over the weekend. Couldn't happen to a better, more deserving fella!

We can think of many reasons he should be locked up - sabotaging his own daughter, screwing over Jon Gosselin, not paying child support, etc., etc.

But it turns out it was a simple phone call that did the trick.

According to police sources, Lindsay's dad was arrested in Medford, N.Y., on Sunday after calling up ex-fiancee Erin Muller. Why was that so bad?

Because Erin has a restraining order against him, natch.

Michael Lohan was charged with criminal contempt of court due to Erin's order of protection barring him from "trying to communicate by phone."

Guess Erin didn't respond to that fake Twitter suicide note, so he got on the horn. No word on how long he'll stay locked up, but it's long enough!

BAD CALL: That would apply to Erin Muller's decision to wed Michael Lohan (which she luckily reconsidered) and his illegal phone correspondence with her Sunday.

Julie Postle, previously known to gossip hounds as "Unidentified Orlando Cocktail Waitress," was identified as one of Tiger Woods' mistresses this afternoon.

That makes 10 according to THG's updated, official Tiger mistress list.

Jules was outed by ex-beau Brian Kimbrough, who claims she was seeing Tiger Woods on the side in 2004 while he was casually dating the blonde cutie.

Brian says Tiger called himself "Mr. Brightside" in reference to a Killers' song about a jealous lover, and the golfer would call up Julie Postle "incessantly."

"One time, her phone rang, and it said a weird name on it - 'Mr. Brightside,'" Kimbrough recalled. "And I was like, 'What the hell is this?' She smiled."

"She just said it was Tiger but didn't answer it. But she played me the voice mail. It said, 'Hey, it's Tiger, just seeing how you're doing. Give me a call.'"

Why'd Kimbrough stay with Postle, if she was fooling around with Woods?

"She was hot," he said.

There's little bright side now for Julie Postle's former fling.

Kimbrough says Woods even invited Postle to Vegas and said, 'If you break up with your boyfriend, I can give you some money to get you on your feet.'"

Don't tell that to Jamie Jungers.

Things later got more serious between Kimbrough and Postle, and she said she and Tiger weren't speaking anymore. But we know how that goes.

The mother of Postle's former roommate, Morgan Coles, backs up the story.

"Tiger was obsessed, really hunted her," Nola Coles recalls. "He used to go into Roxy demanding Julie. 'Where's Julie? I want to see Julie.'

"She was 20 then, and I said, 'You've got to get a condo out of this,'" the mother said, "and she just said, 'Oh, no, I can't do that to Tiger.'"

Naturally, Julie Postle's trysts and phone calls with Tiger Woods, which began in 2004, continued even after he was married to Elin Nordegren.

Also naturally, "Tiger told [Postle] that his marriage was just for publicity. She said it was for his image, entirely for the media and wasn't real."

Hope you've got a good divorce lawyer, Tiger.

Seriously, Miley Cyrus?!?

We know the singer believes she's celebrity royalty, but was no one around this week to inform the self-obsessed star that there are proper - and improper, as Miley proved - ways to dress in front of actual royalty?

Cyrus and Lady Gaga were two of the American singers chosen to meet the Queen of England at yesterday's Royal Variety Awards in London. While the latter celeb actually donned appropriate attire for the occasion, Miley treated the honor like a night  of club-hopping.

As you take a look at the outfits Cyrus wore to greet Queen Elizabeth II at the event and to perform in front of her, try not to injure your jaw when it drops to the ground...

London's Daily Mail referred to Miley's leather hotpants and crop top as the "daring outfit of the night."

That's one way of putting it. Another way would be:

It's hard to believe this is what Tiger Woods news has come to. Just two weeks ago, he had the cleanest image of anyone. Now he has five rumored mistresses.

Sure, you can doubt the credibility of Mindy Lawton, the fifth woman tied to Tiger Woods, and who boasts about it in the UK's News of the World this morning.

But do you? At least three of his first four mistresses have been semi-confirmed, and his reputation is so shot by this point, he gets no benefit of the doubt.

According to waitress Lawton, Tiger had an affair with her while his model wife Elin Nordegren was pregnant.

Oh, and the world's #1 golfer liked playing in the rough!

"Sometimes I looked like a rag doll after we'd made love," she reflected on Tiger Woods' prolific performance in the sack. "He really did like it quite rough."

Sadly, Mindy Lawton soon learned Tiger only wanted one thing from her.

"I realize now all he wanted me for was sex. The only time he would call was when he wanted it," she said. "Tiger just used me as a sex toy. I thought I meant something to him, but all he cared about was lust. He is a selfish, heartless man."

"All Tiger cared about was getting me into bed. He had an urge and I satisfied it. There was very little if any emotion from his side although I fell for him."

In her tell-all interview, Mindy described how Tiger Woods:

• Demanded instant, urgent sex when they met up.
• Nailed her all over his mansion and even in a parking lot.
• Sent explicit text messages prior to their sex sessions.
• Urged her to wear sexy red lingerie (his favorite)!
• Took Elin Nordegren to the restaurant where Mindy works.

Tiger and Elin are renegotiating a prenup and going through marriage counseling after a series of affairs came to light after his mysterious car crash last week.

Rachel Uchitel was the first woman to be linked to Tiger Woods, followed by the likes of Jaimee Grubbs, Kalika Moquin and just yesterday, Jamie Jungers.

Cori Rist is also rumored to have had an affair with him.

Lots of people were probably surprised when they heard Tiger Woods was cheating (relentlessly, it appears) on his wife and his children's mother, Elin.

Hugh Hefner is not one of those people.

Like the golfer, the octogenarian knows a thing or 10 about juggling three girls at the same time - and he doesn't see what the big deal is with Woods.

"I think the only surprise in it, quite frankly, is that anybody would be surprised," the Playboy mogul told E! News. "If you're a good-looking guy and young and healthy, the notion that there would be something else going on, well ..."

"Ultimately, marriage is just a convenience. It's very nice for raising kids," Hugh adds, "but the notion that monogamy lasts forever is a pipe dream!"

At least Tiger hasn't lost any respect from Hugh.

You knew this was coming. Asked if he'd like the Tiger Woods mistresses to bare all for a spread in Playboy, Hefner thought about it, but seemed unmoved:

"We're not really looking for scandal, but I don't know ... We'll see."

Jaimee Grubbs, the most vocal of Tiger's side pieces, once tried to get in the magazine, so we know she'd be down, but Rachel Uchitel and Kalika Moquin?

Think of the great headline potential, though: Triple Bogey: (Golf) Balls Deep in the Rough with Tiger's Girls Next Door ... or something. Is this thing on?

Looks like Tiger Woods has more than Rachel Uchitel rumors to worry about.

Us Weekly is reportedly planning to release a bombshell cover story about Jaimee Grubbs, a woman who claims she had a 31-month affair with Tiger.

Grubbs says she has voicemails and text messages to prove this.

The woman claims she met Tiger in Las Vegas in April, 2007. A 21-year-old waitress at the time, she says she and Woods began a long-running affair.

According to Us, Jaimee Grubbs has more than 300 texts from Tiger, who wed Elin Nordegren in 2004, and whose personal life is now under scrutiny.

Was Tiger Woods having an affair with Jaimee Grubbs?

His wife is being investigated by police for possibly abusing Tiger - allegedly over reports that he slept with Rachel Uchitel. She's not gonna like this!

The magazine, due out tomorrow, claims Grubbs had 20 sexual encounters with Tiger, and will include "photos, racy texts from Tiger, as well as a voicemail from November 24, in which Tiger suggests his wife might be on to the alleged affair."

It's still very possible this is all bogus, but you have to wonder. Could Woods be the latest seemingly squeaky-clean celebrity living a double life here?

Jaimee Grubbs has appeared recently on VH1's Tool Academy. If it's true she was tooling around with Tiger Woods, well, she better watch her back.

Elin can go pretty crazy wielding a golf club, after all.

He continues to turn away police investigators, but Tiger Woods issued a statement on his website today about his "embarrassing" car crash early Friday morning.

As you might expect, Tiger's statement failed to clear up any questions about the scrutinized, bizarre, middle-of-the-night accident outside his Florida estate.

“This situation is my fault, and it’s embarrassing to my family and me,” Woods said. “I’m human and I’m not perfect. I will make sure this doesn’t happen again.”

“Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.”

"My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.”

“The only person responsible for the accident is me."

Were Elin Woods (left) and Rachel Uchitel also responsible for Tiger's crash?

The statement came today after Woods’ attorney told the Florida Highway Patrol that for the third straight day Tiger would be unavailable to talk to state troopers.

The meeting was not rescheduled.

Woods concluded his statement by saying the car crash was a private matter, and he intended to keep it that way. Left unanswered were the following questions:

• What he was going leaving his home at that time of the night, and how did he lose control of his SUV at such a speed that its airbags didn’t deploy?
• Why would Tiger's wife smash the back windows of his Cadillac Escalade to free him, as she told the cops, if all the SUV's doors were functional?
• If it was a careless mistake, as Woods' statement suggests, why not speak to police - and why was he talking the next day about a Kobe special?
• If his facial injuries were caused by the crash, why was there no blood in the car? Were the cuts actually sustained during a fight with Elin Woods?
• Can it really be a coincidence that the suspicious crash happened immediately after tabloid reports linked Tiger Woods to mistress Rachel Uchitel?

Alexandra Forbes Kerry, the daughter of U.S. Senator and former presidential candidate John Kerry, was arrested early this morning on suspicion of DUI.

Law enforcement sources say she was busted in Hollywood around 12:40 a.m. The 36-year-old film producer/director was pulled over for a traffic stop.

Alexandra Kerry was arrested and booked at by the LAPD, and released at 5:25 a.m.

She was arrested for being under the influence of an intoxicant.

This is Alexandra Forbes Kerry, daughter of John. What's with the logo? Trust us, we had to put it there. Apparently it was chilly the night this photo was taken. Brr!

Interestingly, she refused a preliminary test in the field, and by the time a formal blood test was conducted at the station, it showed a level of just .06.

Under California law, the legal limit is .08, but a driver can still be prosecuted, even under .08, if the vehicle is being operated unsafely due to alcohol.

Of course, given the far worse DUIs they see all the time, prosecutors generally won't go after people registering under a .08 unless their driving was extremely dangerous, so Kerry may be off the hook when all is said and done. We'll see.

Take comfort, Taylor Hicks. You are no longer the least succesful American Idol champion of all-time.

Following her third season victory on the country's top-rated program, Fantasia Barrino has seen her life spiral downward. She starred in The Color Purple on Broadway, but recently faced foreclosure on her home, along with general financial problems.

Now, reports indicate that Fantasia's personal life has grown even messier.

According to Star, Barrino is living with Antwaun Cook, a married father of two that left his wife to be with her. She met the former college football player in August and sources say he abandoned his young sons to move into Fantasio's Charlotte mansion.

“I’m not going to deny that the word ‘homewrecker’ is floating around,” said a friend of the singer's.

Reportedly, Fantasia has even tattooed Antwaun name on her shoulder, always a good idea in any relationship. Those decisions never come back to haunt those that make them.

As a stripper, Nicole Forrester knows what it takes to stand up strong for her beliefs. Or at least for the guy that's doing her up against the wall of the VIP room.

With that in mind, the busty blonde is sticking to the story she first shared late last month: she danced for actor Josh Duhamel at an Atlanta strip club in early October and then slept with him a week later.

Duhamel has denied the accusations, but Forrester says she has text messages and a polygraph test as evidence.

"We did hook up and had lots of sex and we had a really, really good time," Forrester told Atlanta radio station Q100's "Bert Show" yesterday.

Of course, Forrester, who sold her story to the National Enquirer for over $20,000, claims she now regrets coming forward. How come?

Because she has children, ages 10 and 3, that had no clue their mommy gave strangers lap dances.

"My son's like: Mom are you doing anything different now? He doesn't want me to do this anymore... I feel like people are just looking at me. It's just bad. It's just an uncomfortable situation with my children and all their friends know."

We're guessing more money would make Nicole feel more comfortable, however.

As for the allegations? She reiterated:

"It's the truth. I'm not lying about anything. I have nothing to hide and he's just guilty as I am."
