Raffaello Follieri, the seedy ex-boyfriend of Anne Hathaway, has been arrested for Federal wire fraud, as well as conspiracy and money laundering.

The Italian-American real estate hotshot is due in Manhattan Federal court Tuesday, accused by the FBI of lying to one of his investors and claiming that he had been appointed the Chief Financial Officer of the Vatican!

In the U.S. Government's case against Raffaello Follieri, Anne Hathaway is mentioned - though not by name, but only as his "girlfriend."

Cops say because peeps believed his bogus Vatican connection, he was able to buy real estate owned by the Catholic church in the U.S. at a way cheaper rate than a normal developer could obtain.

Yeah. This guy's loose morals make Diana Bianchi look like a saint.

Anne Hathaway, who dumped him because of his bad reputation and the risk of her own image being tarnished by association, made the right call - she is allegedly the beneficiary of some of ill-gotten profits earned by Raffaello Follieri.

The disreputable dirtball is also under investigation by the N.Y. State Attorney General's Office for failing to file tax-disclosure forms for his charity.

He was arrested back in April for allegedly writing a $215,000 bad check, and was also sued over the matter, though he settled out of court.

Snoop Dogg has rubbed off on his wife, apparently.

And we don't mean that in the semi-dirty way it was written.

The Doggfather's wife, Shante Broadus, was arrested at 12:15 this morning in Fullerton, Calif., for driving under the influence. Nice!

Shortly after her DUI arrest and booking photo, Shante Broadus was released with a citation - there's no bail needed for DUIs in Fullerton.

Edwin Merino of Los Angeles, Calif., was arrested on Tuesday on charges of stalking pregnant teenage mother-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears.

Authorities in Liberty, La., say Edwin Merino wouldn't leave 17-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge (her fiance and baby-daddy) alone.

Who on earth would stalk this adorable, domestic couple?

The celebrity picture-taker was in the middle of a four-day visit to the small town in Mississippi where the two just bought a house.

Merino denies the charge, saying that he was some 200 feet away from the couple, using a long lens, at the time he was arrested.

"I think since I was the only [celebrity photographer] there, it was just easier for them to single me out," he told authorities.

According to sources, Merino spent some time in jail before posting $1,143 in blood money bail and being released. Good riddance.

Tatum O'Neal was due to be arraigned in New York Monday after being busted for buying crack cocaine near her home, according to authorities.

Police say the Oscar winner was seen making the illicit purchase at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tatum O'Neal was tossed in jail overnight and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Also arrested at the scene was a 33-year-old man, believed to be a dealer.

The New York Post says O'Neal told cops, "You know who I am, right?" She said she was "researching a part - I'm doing this for a part as a junkie."

She is also quoted as asking detectives, "Can't we just forget about this?"

Tatum O'Neal is the daughter of actor Ryan O'Neal and the ex-wife of John McEnroe. In her autobiography, she says she was abandoned by a drug addict mom (actress Joanna Moore) at age seven and began using drugs by 14.

The winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for Paper Moon in 1973, O'Neal chronicled her struggles with addiction in her 2004 memoir, A Paper Life. The actress completed rehab in 1996 and claimed to be clean.

Say it ain't so, so, sooo! British singer and certifiable train wreck Amy Winehouse has been arrested - again - for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

Try to refrain from gasping at this stunning news.

Amy went to a London police station this afternoon at around 1:00 pm for a scheduled meeting and was questioned regarding the alleged drug offenses.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Winehouse was arrested. Perhaps she will finally be reunited with jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil after all!

Rapper Vanilla Ice was arrested Thursday night on a charge of domestic battery after his wife called deputies to say her husband was hitting and kicking her.

Deputies arrived at the Wellington, Fla., home around 7:15 p.m. to find Ice (real name Robert Van Winkle) on his motorcycle, two blocks from their home.

Back at the house, Laura Van Winkle appeared uninjured and said she did not want to deal with media attention but wants a divorce. She said her husband, 40, had not hit or kicked her during the melee, but had pushed her.

"He started yelling at me for going out to buy a bedroom set. In front of my daughter," she said, according to a report obtained by the Palm Beach Post

Vanilla Ice said he and his wife had been arguing since the previous day.

The flash-in-the-pan rap star of the early '90s said his wife has bipolar disorder (like Britney Spears!) and takes meds but still has irrational and argumentative episodes and had thrown a picture frame from a rear balcony to the ground.

It's not the first time Vanilla Ice has been arrested in South Florida. In 2004, he was booked into the Broward County Jail on a domestic battery charge.

Driving with an expired license, driving 74 mph in a 45 mph zone and having illegally tinted car windows all culminated in another warrant for his arrest.

Vanilla was also was hit with $220 in fines back in 2004 when his pet wallaroo and goat escaped in Port St. Lucie and were picked up by animal control.

Shaniqua Tomkins, 50 Cent's baby's mama, has filed a new lawsuit against the rapper.

According to our bitter rival, Perez Hilton, she's accusing the rapper of "breach of contract and unjust enrichment." He supposedly broke a promise to give Tomkins and their son Marquise a house.

"This was a house that was promised to Shaniqua up until the closing," said Tomkins' lawyer Paul Catsandonis, ignoring the fact that Tomkins already receives thousands a month from 50 Cent in child support. "Then he decided not to put it in her name. Now he's trying to put her out of the house. This would mean evicting his own son."

Raffaello Follieri, who was possibly caught receiving a blow job from girlfriend Anne Hathaway a few months ago, was arrested today for allegedly bouncing a check.

As reported by TMZ, Follieri was popped for one misdemeanor count of issuing a check for $250,000 that sources say he wasn't even close to being able to cover.

Moreover, A DC court just ordered Follieri to pay almost the same amount to a PR firm that he still owes for work it did. Yeah. We don't think he can afford that.

Note to Anne Hathaway: your boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, needs an allowance.

In a hilarious, shocking piece of celebrity news, Naomi Campbell was arrested at Heathrow Airport today - after allegedly spitting at a police officer!

The troubled supermodel was hauled away "ranting and screaming" from her flight at Terminal Five after a screaming match over a lost bag.

Naomi Campbell first went ballistic in British Airways' first class lounge after being told one of her three bags had not made it on the flight.

Despite apologies and assurances that she would eventually be reunited with her luggage, the temperamental diva flew into a blinding rage.

She began harassing airline staff members who called the police as the flight was announced and Naomi Campbell walked onto the plane. She was apparently still yelling at the airline's boarding card staff as she took her seat.

Three officers tried to calm Campbell down, but she is alleged to have reacted by spitting at an officer and proceeding to "lay into him" with her fists.

A frenzied Naomi Campbell was eventually brought under control after a struggle ensued, and then was physically hauled off the plane.

Cops were called and she was heard screaming "get off me, leave me alone" before she attacked one and was taken away to Heathrow police station.

An eyewitness to the melee said: "She attacked a male police officer and spat at him and she was taken to the airport police station."

An airport spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that a passenger was removed by police from a light this afternoon." The flight left an hour and a half late.

Last year the model had to mop floors at New York's Sanitation Department as community service for throwing a mobile phone at her maid.
