Actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested for DUI after being involved in an early morning car accident in Hollywood on Sunday.

LaBeouf was driving when his car was involved in a collision around 3 a.m. According to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Wolf:

"It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that Mr. LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest."

The Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull star was booked on charges of misdemeanor DUI and then released.

He was being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. for injuries he sustained to his head, left hand and knee.

The passenger riding with Shia LaBeouf and the driver of the other car involved in the crash weren't seriously hurt.

LaBeouf was trying to make a left turn when the accident happened and his car rolled over. A rep for the actor had no comment.

A witness heard a loud crash around 245 a.m., then the sound of Shia's truck rolling over. When he got down to scene, Shia LaBeouf was already out of the car and the female riding with him was crawling out of the drivers side of the truck.

The truck was smoking, making noise and still running. The driver of the other car was also out of the car by this time.

These four troubled young women have more than just seductive celebrity mug shots in common - they actually served time for their DUI-related antics!

Granted, that meant sitting in a cell for an hour or two in some cases, creating huge spectacles and accomplishing little other than wasting taxpayer money.

Celebrity scandals are so funny and frequent these days that we can't resist a face-off of sorts featuring some of our favorite celebrity mug shots.

One of these celebrities was recently nabbed for drug possession and feeling up some girl (underage no less) in a Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot.

The other was arrested for ... gosh, we can't even remember. This is like his third mug shot this month and seventh career (that we know of).

Khloe Kardashian turned herself in to authorities earlier today.

Two hours and 53 minutes later, the L.A. County Sheriff's Department released the parole violator from prison.

• Nicole Richie was locked up for 82 minutes;
• Lindsay Lohan suffered for 84;
• Paris Hilton was released after three days of a 45-day sentence.

A Sheriff's spokesperson said Khloe was set free because female inmates are eligible for early release due to overcrowding.

There are celebrity mug shots and there are celebrity mug shots. This one of Andy Dick places him immediately in The Hollywood Gossip Hall of Shame.

The insane, alleged comedian was arrested early this morning in Murrieta, Calif., on multiple charges: suspicion of drug possession and sexual battery.

Cops busted Andy Dick just before 2 a.m. this morning in the parking lot of a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. Even unfunny comics gotta eat late nite!

A deranged Andy Dick is still being held on $5,000 bail.

Around 1:15 a.m., cops responded to a report of a person urinating in the parking lot outside the wing joint, causing a disturbance.

There, they stopped a van and found Andy Dick, 42, in the passenger seat.

He was arrested for allegedly groping some girl's breasts and pulling her top down. The girl, of course, is only 17 years old.

To make matters worse, when he was searched, authorities say they found marijuana and Xanax in his front pants pockets. Ouch!

The booking photo below was taken last night after the No Country For Old Men star was arrested following a bar fight in Shreveport, Louisiana.

According to the Shreveport Times, the 40-year-old actor was in town filming in director-producer Oliver Stone’s new film W. Brolin has a shaved head because he wears a wig to play his character President George W. Bush.

Brolin was arrested for interfering with local police along with his W co-star Jeffrey Wright, 40, and five other crew members.

Eh, that's not that unusual or scandalous. It happens to the best of us at one time or another - and also to Amy Winehouse every other weekend.

Man, there are celebrities who get arrested a lot, and then there is DMX. The 37-year-old rapper / actor is in a league of his own.

DMX was recently arrested in his hometown, Phoenix, on outstanding warrants as soon as he stepped off a plane from Los Angeles. His lawyer said he knew he was going to be arrested, because he failed to appear in court on other charges.

Truly, if you're DMX, this is standard procedure by now.

He is being held on $1,075 bail for driving with a suspended license and $10,000 bail for various other illegal activities. Yawn.

It's been a tough couple of weeks for Milana Dravnel.

Tuesday night, authorities say Milana Dravnel was nabbed after she tried to walk out of the Manhattan department store with over $1,000 in stolen goods.

Cops say she did produce a receipt - but not for all her loot.

Milana has been charged with fourth degree larceny and possession of stolen property. A call to her lawyer - who is one busy man - was not returned.

Move over, Larry Mendte. You've got creepy stalker company.

The unstable fellow who's allegedly been stalking teen celebrities Aly and AJ Michalka via blog, email, and phone, just got arrested.

Rex Mettler, 42, was nabbed by police in Lancaster, Ohio.

The supposed stalker was tracked for weeks by the L.A. County Sheriff, and sources say the authorities had been tracking "threatening e-mails and blog entries" from Mettler's computer. Yeah. Guy is not un-shady.

Rex Mettler has been charged with one felony count of menacing by stalking for his alleged harassment of the teen pop-singing duo Aly and AJ Michalka.

In addition to their rare blend of dance-pop magic, Aly and AJ are also actresses, appearing regularly on (shockingly) the Disney Channel.

The sisters have also appeared on General Hospital.

Brace yourselves for a stunner, celeb gossip fans - the guy who recently knocked Suge Knight the f*%k out is not exactly a law abiding fella.

The LAPD nabbed Greg Smith late Sunday night on an outstanding warrant - seems Greg forgot a court date. You know, one of his prior ones.

To make matters worse, when cops approached him, Greg Smith took off! So the thug has also been booked for resisting arrest, as well.

Maybe it was a deliberate move on Greg Smith's part to get busted.
