Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Michael Jackson's death, but the late singer's former dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein is under investigation by the Medical Board of California for his past treatment of his famous patient.

Klein has been accused - by Murray and others - of fueling MJ's addiction to prescription painkillers, and has been subpoenaed by the Board for questioning.

He just posted a letter on Facebook, apparently sent from his ex-lawyer, showing that officials are probing allegations that Klein over-prescribed Demerol.

The Board reportedly wants to grill Klein about the possibility that he self-prescribed narcotics, used false names on narcotics prescriptions, illegally handed out samples of dangerous drugs to his famous patients such as Michael Jackson.

By doing so, Klein, who has multiple sclerosis, may have committed gross negligence.

Also rumored to be the biological father of Prince and Paris Jackson, Klein has always strongly denied any wrongdoing and is not accused of any criminal conduct.

Time will tell if that changes and/or if the board takes any disciplinary action.

Olympic snowboarding god Shaun White may be in some serious hot water if photos taken of him laying (half) pipe at a hotel party in 2009 have made their way online.

Dude is not clothed and not not having sex in them.

Several party goers managed to snap photos of White's naked romp with some girl, but his people managed to erase all the pics ... or so they had thought.

Shaun White

At least two of the pics have surfaced, though, one in which Shaun is making out with a hot blonde gal in front of other people, clothed, and another in which Shaun appears to be getting it in missionary style, grinning at the camera, totally nude.

Oh, and the ginger carpet matches the drapes, apparently.

The seller is looking for a serious payday, but so far has not found a buyer ... which doesn't really shock us to be honest. The Olympics were almost two years ago now, and when was the last time you thought about Shaun White?

He's awesome at snowboarding, but we're just saying.

Drew Ryniewicz was eliminated from The X Factor on Thursday night, a result that left Simon Cowell clearly angry at his fellow panelists for voting off one of his charges.

But Simon's wrath is nothing compared to the words left for Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger by fans of Ryniewicz on Facebook.

Among the passionate, frightening, misguided messages posted by Drew supporters over the last few days:

  • "F**K you paula you dumb c**t you voted off the most talented person on your f**king show. i hope you die you DUMB B***H."
  • "I hope you die, you selfish----------"
  • "@NicoleScherzy @paulaabdul go die"

These folks would be well-served to heed the words of Drew herself in this interview: she made it all the way to the final seven. That's pretty darn impressive, and she has many bright years ahead of her. Chill, people.

Former Miss USA Rima Fakih got arrested for DUI the other night.

The 26-year-old, who became the first Miss USA of Arabian descent when she captured the crown in 2010, then managed to keep it despite controversy over some pole dancing pics, faces drunken driving charges after a weekend bust in Highland Park, Mich.

Rima Fakih Tweeted Saturday: "Let's clear things up now. ... I'm NOT in Michigan and I'm NOT in jail! Wrong Fakih." But ... it sort of looks like that was the right Fakih.

The post has since been removed, and on Sunday her attorney Doraid Elder confirmed the arrest, noting that her record "has not a single blemish," other than this and that Rima is "very saddened and very apologetic for the situation that she's in."

Police offered no additional details of the arrest.

The stunning beauty queen appeared to be in good spirits today however, Tweeting: "A long run always gets me energized! Its time to make football Sunday food."

A few weeks after his first public statements since his arrest on sexual abuse charges - in which he admitted to showering with boys, but rejected any notion that he's a pedophile - former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has spoken out again.

With 40 charges already filed against him, and with a new accuser coming forth this week, Sandusky told The New York Times:

"These allegations are false, I didn't do those things. I'm not the monster everyone made me out to be. I didn't engage in sexual acts."

The disgraced ex-coach will be in court on December 13 for a preliminary hearing, as he's currently charged with molesting eight kids over a 15-year period.

Having been cut loose by officials in Aruba earlier this week, Gary Giordano broke his silence to Good Morning America about the disappearance of Robyn Gardner.

The chief suspect in the Maryland woman's mysterious vanishing says that many of the facts reported regarding the high-profile case have been wildly inaccurate.

Gardner's traveling companion and the last one to see her alive, Gary Giordano spent 116 days in custody but was released and never charged with a crime.

"I'll interview myself, if you don't mind," Giordano told GMA's Robin Roberts, launching into a series of what he called misconceptions surrounding the case.

"There are hard questions, like, 'He took her to remote location' on the island - but we were only 100 yards from scuba diving store with tanks in back!"

"It was not a remote location at all. We were in full view of other people at Baby Beach. Me escaping from the island has been extremely misreported."

As for why he contacted his insurance company regarding a $1.5 million travel insurance policy two days after Gardner vanished, he explained it as such:

Prepare yourselves for one of the stranger, more sordid rumors you'll hear all year...

Laurie Fine is the wife of Bernie Fine, the Syracuse assistant basketball coach who was fired last week in the wake of allegations by three former ballplayers that he sexually assaulted them at various times during his 36 years on staff at the university.

The most damning piece of evidence against Bernie is a phone conversation recorded by accuser Bobby Davis in 2003. In it, Laurie appears to acknowledge her husband's despicable behavior, telling Davis:

"I know everything that went on... Bernie has issues, maybe that he's not aware of, but he has issues... you're better off just staying away from him."

Police are searching for troubled singer Mindy McCready and her five-year-old son Zander, who both disappeared Tuesday night in Florida during an apparent dispute.

McCready, 36, doesn't have legal custody of the child but is allowed visitations. She was last seen after she picked up the boy from her dad's Cape Coral, Fla., house.

The star and the court system are apparently at odds, and a missing persons report has been filed. A judge has ordered Mindy to return Zander by 5 p.m. Thursday.

McCready's parents have legal custody of the boy.

Late Tuesday night McCready posted a Facebook message refuting this, saying, "My son is not missing" and that "police established that this afternoon via Skype."

"I have been fighting the Florida court system to protect my son, and bring him home," she writes to ... all the individuals who follow Mindy McCready on Facebook.

"Please, please do not worry."

McCready has been plagued by myriad personal problems in life, such as a drug overdose, suicide attempt(s), rehab and an underage affair with Roger Clemens.

A new, anonymous accuser has stepped forward and released a statement that alleges prolonged abuse at the hands of Jerry Sandusky.

In a letter, the man - referred to at the moment as John Doe, and not one of the eight victims named in the grand jury report that led to an indictment of the former Penn State defensive coordinator on 40 counts of sexual abuse - says he met Sandusky through his Second Mile charity and cites over 100 inappropriate incidents between 1992 and 1996.

"I don’t want other kids to be hurt and abused by Jerry Sandusky or anybody like Penn State to allow people like him to do it—rape kids!" the statement reads. "I never told anybody what he did to me over 100 times at all kinds of places until the newspapers reported that he had abused other kids and the people at Penn State and Second Mile didn’t do the things they should have to protect me and the other kids."

This alleged victim is now 29 years old, says Sandusky threatened him with violence if he ever came forward and has filed a lawsuit against the disgraced ex coach.
