Rapper Montae Talbert, better known as M-Bone of the hip hop group Cali Swag District, was killed in a shooting Sunday night in the Inglewood area of L.A.

Police say it's too soon to say if M Bone was targeted or if it was a random act of violence, but he was shot in the head as he sat in a car around 10:30 p.m.

Lt. James Madie of the Inglewood Police Department said the following: "We have identified the victim as Mante Ray Talbert. He was born July 17, 1988."

"Reports that it was a random shooting are unconfirmed at this time."

R.I.P., M-Bone (1988-2011).

"Officers are going through lots of information, sorting out good information from bogus information. Honestly, we are overwhelmed at this time."

“It is still early in the investigation, and we have been getting conflicting statements about what happened. So far, we do not think that anybody witnessed the actual shooting, and we could be looking for a red or white vehicle."

“We will be working the case hard today.”

Detectives on the scene were checking to see if any cameras from stores across the street had caught anything on tape that might help them.

Hip hop star Cassidy, best known for his hit song "I'm a Hustla," has been named a suspect in a murder case AND two attempted murder cases.

Cassidy was arrested in Hackensack, N.J., this weekend on a probation violation. The arrest was made in connection with the alleged crimes in Philadelphia.

He's on probation for involuntary manslaughter.

According to TMZ, Philadelphia police asked local authorities to arrest Cassidy on the probation violation, and even went so far as to warn them "to consider [Cassidy] both armed and dangerous,” saying it was a “high-risk warrant."

Undercover officers with the Hackensack PD followed the 28-year-old rapper, whose real name is Barry Reese, and arrested him in a motor vehicle stop.

He was freed in 2006 after an eight month jail stint for involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and possession of an instrument of crime.

Bail was set at $200,000. Story developing ...

Corey Bohan just got back together with Audrina Patridge. How sweet.

Not so sweet? Bohan was arrested for investigation of public intoxication, according to a report, spending eight hours behind bars early Friday a.m.

Bohan got popped by Hermosa Beach, Calif., police on a misdemeanor charge and was later released on $500 bail. So what sparked the bender?

Patridge, who just celebrated her 26th birthday at a Las Vegas pool party (obviously), began dating Bohan again after breaking up with Nic Roldan.

Bohan had a very public breakup with Patridge in March (the two traded barbs via Twitter) but they are now back together - and partying hard!

We don't really know the context, but Audrina Tweeted Friday, "I absolutely hate what jack Daniels does to people:( jack is a bad bad man!!!"

Rick Springfield threatened to kill a deputy sheriff and his family the night he was arrested for DUI, yet there was no mention of the incident in the arrest report.

Springfield was arrested in Malibu May 1 and blew a .10, above the legal limit. The deputy said his $200,000, 1963 Corvette Stingray would be towed away.

The singer/actor was not pleased.

Law enforcement sources say upon hearing that news, Springfield yelled to the deputy, "If you tow my car I will f*%king kill you and your family."

He must not have taken it seriously, because there was no mention of the threat in the report. which merely says that Rick Springfield was "belligerent."

LA County Sheriff's Dept. spokesman Steve Whitmore says. "It is rare when a drunk doesn't say something outlandish to police when they're arrested."

Andy Dick is being sued allegedly grinding his genitals into a guy's head during his comedy routine. This allegedly took place in Texas in December.

Robert Tucker says he attended Dick's comedy show and wasn't at all amused about what Dick did as he left the stage to interact with the audience.

According to Tucker's lawsuit, he asked Dick for an autograph. First mistake.

Fresh off his arrest for disorderly conduct, Andy didn't need this.

Instead of obliging, Dick (dressed like a woman at the time for reasons unknown, yet that make perfect sense) brought a bar stool alongside the fan.

"Andy Dick then took control of Plaintiff's head with his left hand and pulled down his costume skirt with his right hand," the suit alleges, then gets worse.

Christina Hopkins proved that she belongs on the Bad Girls Club this week, going off on camera about some woman who stepped up to her at a diner in Staten Island.

The reality star dropped the N word 12 times, chanting it along with a friend and drunkenly screaming:

"If you're a black girl ... you should shut up because you're black ... you're a n--ger ... nobody likes you."

In her quasi defense, Hopkins offered up this lame apology to TMZ:

"Some girls came up to me and said some racial remarks toward me [moments before] and this is what I said in retaliation. I apologize if anyone was offended, it wasn't meant in a derogatory way."

That might come as news to millions of African-Americans.

Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach has been arrested for weed.

This time it went down in the great state of New Jersey. The other time Bach got popped for the same offense was six months ago in Ontario.

Bach was pulled over for "failing to keep right" on a highway in Monmouth County, N.J., at 3:32 a.m. on Tuesday. Cops found weed in the car.

Sebastian Bach is making quite a habit of this.

The 43-year-old Bach was arrested for possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, then escorted off to jail.

He was released pending a future hearing. No word on when he will be back to answer this charge, but at least no bouncer was bitten this time.

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has entered a rehab center in Malibu, Calif., a source confirms to Us Weekly, even though she's supposedly clean already.

"She is clean right now and has been that way for several weeks," the insider says. "She's doing this program to help her cope with stress in her life."

It can't hurt. Given "her family situation, legal issues and her general anxiety," Jenelle is always one Brittany Maggard shove away from losing it.

In mid-April, the 19-year-old single mom pleaded guilty to a drug charge, one that prosecutors will drop if Evans performs 24 hours of community service.

That incident stemmed from when she and then-boyfriend Kieffer Delp allegedly broke into an abandoned home in Oak Island, N.C., to smoke weed.

This spring, Jenelle beat the ever-loving crap out of Britany Truett for making a pass at Delp, landing Evans in THG's celebrity mug shot gallery again.

Suffice it to say, any rehab is good rehab for this mess.

Earlier this year, Bethenny Frankel claimed she has earned over $120 million since she debuted as a Real Housewife on Bravo.

Turns out, she may need every last dime of that fortune.

According to E! News, the reality star is being sued by her former management company, Raw Talent Inc., for non-payment of commission. The firm is asking for $12 million because Frankel "willfully and knowingly fleeced" it out of allegedly earned funds. It's also demanding $100 million in punitive damages.

In August of 2008, Bethenny went to Raw Talent for help developing and marketing her Skinnygirl cocktail line. The lawsuit alleges she agreed to pay the company a 10 percent commission from profits made off that line - but never shelled out anything after it was sold for nine figures.

No response to the suit yet from Frankel's side, whose life might not be so good if she's forced to pay up.

Tom Sizemore's girlfriend went missing over a month ago, having lived with him for six months prior to that. The actor was recently questioned by police.

There is an active investigation into the disappearance of Megan Wren, 25, last seen March 31. Witnesses claim Megan was last seen with Sizemore.

Law enforcement sources confirm Tom was questioned recently and has "been very cooperative" but will not say if he is considered a suspect.

One of Megan's family members told TMZ that she last spoke with Megan Wren about a month ago and she "sounded like she was in a bad place."  

Sources say the family has made several attempts to reach out to Sizemore for help but he's been blowing them off. Tom has not commented.
