Oh, Justin Bieber went there!

In an interview with Great Britain's Rollercoaster magazine, the formerly shaggy-haired singer took aim at British royalty and said of Prince William's scalp:

"I mean, there are things to prevent that nowadays... I don't know why he doesn't just get those things, those products. You just take Propecia and your hair grows back. Have you not got it over here?"

The response from our pals overseas? Not positive.

According to journalist Jessica Callancitizens (via The Huffington Post), residents "are viewing Justin Bieber's diss about Prince William's challenging hair problem in the same way you view an annoying fly buzzing around you. He needs to be swatted away... Will and Prince Harry may joke about William's thinning hair, but that doesn't mean a kid like Justin can come sauntering in and join in the joke."

In a previous interview, Bieber also insulted Canadian Aboriginals.

What do you make of his comments regarding William's hair?

Bobak Ferdowsi, mission controller for the NASA Mars Curiosity, has become a quasi-star on Twitter after a photo of him was released Monday morning.

Nicknamed the "NASA Mohawk Guy" and/or the "hot nerd," Bobak can largely thank his 'do - with its red streaks and bleached stars - for his 15 minutes.

Not that he's interested in it. For Ferdowsi, it's all about the mission, which saw the NASA Curiosity rover land on Mars Monday in a watershed moment.

Bobak Ferdowsi

Ferdowsi became the talk of social media after the above image appeared in a montage of photos released by news outlets after Curiosity's landed.

Although his hair, smile and work with Curiosity are tailor-made for viral stardom, Bobak is still getting used to having all (or any) eyes on him.

"Internet, you win this round. I'll be back later, but thanks so much. Now going to celebrate with all my friends and team! #msl," Ferdowsi tweeted.

"Not rdy for the attention, but happy to show it takes all types to make @MarsCuriosity! Now if only my coworkers wld stop making fun of me ;)."

There has even been a Tumblr made in his honor, which advises NASA to get more mohawks in the building ... hard to argue with that campaign.

The young star has posted a couple new photos on her account, singling out stylist Chris McMillan - the man behind Jennifer Aniston's famous "Rachel" 'do on Friends - and writing:

"I think the most important thing a woman can have - next to talent, of course is her hairdresser. @chrismcMillan thanks duuuuude."

American teenager Gabby Douglas has been wowing the world with grace, style, and of course, the women's all-around gymnastics gold medal.

Nevertheless, much of the chatter on social media and online platforms has been about the upkeep of her hair, and not all feedback is positive.

Douglas, one of the few African-American gymnasts ever to compete in the Olympics and the first to win all-around gold, is an inspiring story.

Time and Sports Illustrated have her on their covers. President Barack Obama called to congratulate her. So why do people care about Gabby Douglas' hair?!

Gabby Douglas Hair

“I love how she’s doing her thing and winning,’’ says 22-year-old Latisha Jenkins of Detroit told The Daily Beast. “But I just hate the way her hair looks."

"With all those pins and gel ... I wish someone could have helped her make it look better since she’s being seen all over the world."

"She representing for black women everywhere.’’

According to reports, the 4'11" Douglas appears to have chemically relaxed natural hair, to which she adds a human-hair ponytail for height.

The Olympic champ then apparently slicks it all back with a heavy layer of gel to help it stay in place during her high-energy performances.

Gabby Douglas Ponytail

Hair has always been something of a hot button issue for African-American women culturally, but in the case of Douglas, isn't the criticism a little much?

Douglas’ accomplishments speak for themselves ... for the conversation to turn to a teenager’s physical appearance and upkeep seems a bit unfair.

Do you like her hair? Does it matter? Tell us what you think.

Oprah Winfrey lets her natural hair down - and out - in the new issue of O, The Magazine, which shows her coiffure "in its natural state" for the first time.

Winfrey admits she almost went bald, or at least very close-cropped, but Bill Cosby talked her out of it. Smart move by Bill, as O's hair is still looking great.

Check our her natural hairstyle on the cover of O:

In The Makeover Issue, Winfrey also says the only beauty changes that really work are "those in which something inside the receiver clicks, aligning with that which is being received ... the only way to real transformation is through the mind."

Deep thoughts from the talk show queen.

How is Connor Cruise reacting to the divorce of his father and Katie Holmes?

The 17-year old subtly weighed in via Twitter a couple weeks ago, simply stating that family is forever. But might the split be affecting him more than initially let on? Or might Connor simply be acting like a a typically rebellious teenager?

We pose those questions in light if Cruise's latest Tweet, which is simply the word "Chopped" and the accompanying photo:

Connor Cruise Mohawk

Yes, Connor - who was adopted by Cruise and Nicole Kidman in 1995 and goes by the stage name DJ C-Squared - now rocks a mohawk with an intricate design shaved into the side of his head.

What do you make of his new look? And does it have anything to do with his dad's new status as a single man?

Lindsay Lohan is going back to her roots ... LITERALLY people.

Having finished filming Lifetime's movie Liz & Dick, miraculously without being arrested or killed, the troubled star returned to her natural hair color.

The change comes after she was spotted in various wigs (one Cleopatra style, another long and dark, another shoulder-length and curly) on the set.

No longer Elizabeth Taylor, she's back to rockin' the red ...

  • Lindsay Lohan's Red Hair

Lohan apparently spent much of the Fourth of July dyeing her hair, because she Tweeted the final result Wednesday, along with the caption “Red again.”

Come on, that's the best you can come up with?

The new shade harkens back to old Lindsay Lohan pictures - before health scares, car accidents, gun photos and court hearings - so it's a very positive sign.

Okay, maybe not, it's just hair. Unless they come up with a way to do common sense transplants, she's still going to be a mess for the time being.

Britney Spears showed off two big reasons why she was brought on board The X Factor as the auditions for the Fox show rolled into Providence, R.I.

We mean her hair and her smile, of course.

The 30-year-old pop star and first-time reality TV judge looked better and happier than ever, showing off her wavy blonde locks and beautiful smile.

Okay, the red dress isn't shabby either.

Joining the singer at the city's Dunkin' Donuts Center were fellow newcomer Demi Lovato, Season 1 holdover L.A. Reid and of course Simon Cowell.

It's unclear if they've yielded any singing talent, but so far, X Factor auditions have led to a lot of Britney Spears and Demi Lovato hair Google searches.

Easy to see why, based on the Britney Spears pics above. The girls look great!

The Duchess of Cambridge's hair is getting all sorts of attention these days ... almost as much as that non-existent Kate Middleton baby bump!

So how does the duchess always look so magnificent?

With a lot of effort, according to a new report. Dating back to her April 2011 wedding, London's Richard Ward Hair and Metrospa has been busy!

  • Kate Middleton Hairstyle Photo
  • Kate Middleton Hair Photo

Even as an official member of the royal family, Kate still heads to that salon, where she's been a client for nearly a decade, multiple times a week.

Her shiny, volume-filled blowouts start at $75.

But there's no royal treatment. Kate "insists on visiting the salon rather than having them come to her" and tipping generously, a source says.

"Kate's a girlie girl," adds another source, noting that Kate prefers organic vegetable-based hair dye and of course, a sleek blowout to top it off.

Which takes awhile, but that's all good. "She loves her time there and has known everyone there for years so it's relaxing for her," an insider says.

To create her curls, her stylist waits until it's "80 percent wet and then uses a good blow dryer with a concentrator nozzle and a real-bristle brush."

That way, "the serum memorizes the form and holds the curl in place while you blow dry." Good to know. Follow the link for more Kate Middleton pictures and observe!
