On the cover of Maxim last month, Kellie Pickler lent her body to a very important cause: the U.S. military.

Now, the former American Idol singer has offered up her head for another one: breast cancer, specifically good friend Summer Holt Miller, who was diagnosed with in June, has undergone a double mastectomy and starts chemotherapy tomorrow."

"Cancer does not discriminate," says Pickler in a statement on her Facebook page, while Miller adds: "If this compels even one person to change their mentality toward waiting until the age of 40 for their mammogram, then it will be worth it."

You can watch a video documenting Kellie and Summer's experience on the official Athena® Water’s website. That company will also be making a monetary contribution in Miller's name to the American Cancer Society.

Alexis Bellino shared "big news" via Twitter Monday. She cut her hair! OMFG!

The Real Housewives of Orange County star removed her extensions and cut her hair short. "I wanted to do this cut for over a year!" the 35-year-old wrote.

Of course, it wouldn't be The Real Housewives of Orange County - and Alexis specifically - without drama. Gretchen Rossi had a few "thoughts" on the change.

Rossi, 33, cut her hair short last month and claims Bellino copied her. "Funny when people copy a lot of things you do!" she tweeted. "Weird or compliment?"

"I was trying to be different and have a different look than long hair, but I guess that went out the door! LOL! Funny! I didn't call the press! I just did it!"

Katy Perry apparently stands in solidarity with Prince Harry.

Just kidding. We so wish that were true, as it might mean Katy Perry nude and playing strip billiards. But we digress. What we're trying to get at here is that the singer appears on the cover of France's L'Officiel magazine with a striking new 'do.

While her hair of fire also conjures up images of Lindsay Lohan, Perry strikes us more as a dead ringer for Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine.

Interestingly, we also noted the big John Mayer hair switch this week. Perhaps both stars were looking for a change in the wake of their recent split.

Move over, John Mayer hair. You're not the only coiffure change we have to discuss today: Jessica Alba debuted a new blond 'do over the weekend.

The 31-year-old mother of two is currently in preparation for her role as stripper Nancy Callahan in the highly anticipated sequel to Sin City (2005).

It looks like blondes really do have more fun, at least according to her Tweets about the transformation, filling everybody in on the process.

"Bye Bye Brown Hair r u on viddy yet? I'm documenting my brown to Sin City blonde!" she tweeted on Thursday, while still a brunette.

She followed that up with "Stage 1 - okay it doesn't look that different but it's a process" followed by "Stage 2 of #SinCity2 Nancy hair."

An hour later, she unveiled the final product, even noting how the look stays true to her roots (literally): "She got roots that Nancy #sincity2."

Breaking news from Kim Kardashian today: The singer has posted a new photo online... and she's not wearing a bathing suit in it!

Taking a break from adding to her ongoing bikini collection, Kardashian published on her blog a shot of herself making like iconic singer Diana Ross.

It's a behind-the-scene image from a shoot Kim did with Hype Williams, and the reality star writes as a caption to the picture:

"Clyde Haygood and Joyce Bonelli glammed me up and we went for a fun, crazy look, channeling Diana Ross. Definitely a new look for me. Xo."

Why show off the wild hairstyle now? Perhaps to distract the public from a certain story about a certain threesome in which Kardashian is accused of engaging.

Within a week of that star going blonde, Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi also dyed his locks... and now Elisabeth Moss of Mad Men has done the same.

The multiple-time Emmy nominee walked the red carpet of last night's For A Good Time, Call... premiere at Regal Union Square in New York City with noticeably short and light hair. Are you down with the fresh look?

The Bon Jovi guitarist showed off the new 'do earlier this month via Twitter, posting the photo below along with the caption:

Feedback on the color wasn't exactly positive for the ex-boyfriend of both Heather Locklear and Denise Richards, however, prompting Sambora to add:

"It's just f-n hair."

Miley Cyrus has another celebrity in her corner, as Paris Jackson has spoken out in an attempt to rescue the 19-year old from a hairy situation.

The singer, of course, chopped her new blonde locks way short a couple weeks ago, drawing the ire of Internet users around the globe. She's since posted numerous photos of the fresh look on Twitter, defending it as an expression of self-love.

And Michael Jackson's daughter is totally on Miley's side.

"i don't know why people keep hating on Miley's new cut," Paris Tweeted yesterday. "i love it !! shes being herself & shes being different & i love her for that !"

Fortunately for Cyrus, fiance Liam Hemsworth feels the same way.

"Her hair looks great," The Hunger Games actor said last week during an interview on Good Morning America. "It's a big change and it looks really fantastic."

Gaga dyed her blonde locks brown and posted the transformation on Twitter. "Time to be brave," the 26-year-old pop sensation wrote.

Brave and beautiful, no?

Quite the change! She's been blonde (with occasional variations, obvi) as long as we can recall. Since back in the Lady Gaga hermaphrodite rumor days.
